i love chris! she is adorable! but i hate how americans are either portrayed this way (air-headed, grossly misunderstands japanese culture, etc) or war-hungry violent types. overlooking how americans are stereotyped in this manner, i still love chris. she is hilarious. i'm still trying to figure out if the 'i love you, stay with me forever,' is the same as 'let's get married!' seeing as i have never seen a single guy kneel in a manga to pop the question, and half the time the girl isn't even asked, just told in a statement ('i want to marry you', and that's that), i feel as though the romantic sentatment that americans place on such an important life-changing question/choice is overlooked.

I wasn't a big fan of this one. They brought in a foreigner character and the English translation of English even was just awful. It scared me.

I love this gender-bender, funny, romantic, a little paranormal manga.

Ito Miura is a tomboyish girl whose looks and attitude makes her easily mistaken for a boy. As a member of the drama club she always play male roles. Soon she meets the new transfer student Makoto who is a beautiful girl, who is really a guy in disguise. Makoto has made a deal with his father, to be able to follow his dream of becoming an actor, he must attend high school as a girl and nobody must know. So when Ito finds out the secret by accident she swears she won't tell. This starts their weird friendship that soon turns into a strong bond...love...

Throughout the story there were a lot of love stories that come into play as examples which the witness and strength their love.

As usual, another very enjoyable instalment of W Juliet! I love that Ryûya has a girlfriend now; although Chris is a little strange, she's sweet ^_^

The story about James Dean and Ito's parents made me laugh so hard. I really love Ito's family and their relationship always make me smile.
