Viva wasn't thinking about the man she loved when she chose a life far away from her Philadelphia roots. Rook Lourdes wanted her to stay, but couldn't express it in words.
Viva is home after witnessing a money-laundering scheme and her life may be in danger. Her sister has requested that Rook protect Viva, also hoping they can reconcile and clear up their differences .
Enjoyable loved that there was suspense with the romance.

Yes!! Altonya has done it again. She always manages to have me imagining myself in her books. I was really impressed with the plot, the character interaction, the pure romance and the passion of this book. Rook and Viva have a chemistry that is off the charts. You won't be disappointed with this one. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS READ. 5 plus stars.

Rook Loudress let the love of his life go pursue her dreams of acting. Fate brings that back together and he has to guard her for her life, which happens to be his full-time job. Can being set in a witness protection program bring the love back for Rook and Viva? Great story line, excellent read, did not keep my attention and story dragged on. Loved the plot though.

Loved the Provocative Series, hated to see it end.
Hopefully, Linus Brooks and Paula Starker will have their very own book.
It was nice even though briefly reuniting with Elias and Claudia, Santiago and Sophia.

I enjoyed this book, but I was kind of disappointed with the way the Murray Dean capture went. I was looking for more drama between He and Rook and a bit of dangerous confrontation. All and all that was the only drawback. It was a good, exciting, and quick read.

True love knows no time frame, boundaries, distance. Viva and Rook were meant to be together. Despite everything, they found their way back to each other. Another great novel from Altonya!!
