This is just to gather my thoughts. I resisted reading this book because I knew I would be thrown in a loop. Ms. Boyett-Compo writes so vividly and her cast of characters are just DEPLORABLE! I loathe many of the aliens. They are just so sadistic and evil. I did enjoy this book greatly and once again I felt terrible for Cree. WTF! And Bridget, seriously, WTF. Talk to him. Every time I read about Cree, my heart bleds for him. He's tortured every fucking time. I'm talking about unreasonable malicious killing torture. They PUNCTURED HIS BRAIN! WTF!?!? I hate these Amazeen women. Crazy bitches. No honour! No morals. Even their goddess is a bitch with no honour. UGH!

The book of course ended right when it was getting good. Now I have to read the third one. This trilogy is very well written. I enjoy all the mythology tie ins and the psychology profiling.

Second part of the Wind Demon Trilogy. Kameron and Bridget settled down on Earth after their HEA in the first book. It is interesting that we now experience that it is not HEA: Kameron has no connection with his son because he is afraid to touch him. He is unemployed and finds no meaning of life on earth. Bridget is annoyed because he does not help in the household and does not take care of her son. In the end she separates from him. But when amazons show up abducting him, she realizes that she still loves him. After everything gets totally confused. Many new characters, numerous side stories and at the end then a cliffhanger, so that you definitely have to read the third part, although I definitely won't.
