Cosmology on Trial: Cracking the Cosmic Code

Rate this book
What if you knew the anomalies that cosmologists don't discuss in public?
Cosmology on Trial – a remarkable study of unexplained mysteries of the universe.
New discoveries challenge General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, String Theory, Gravitation, and the Big Bang.
Scientific journals cite major discrepancies with current models of the universe
1. The May/2014 issue of Scientific American documents a serious calamity in theoretical physics.
"The negative results are beginning to produce if not a full-blown crisis in particle physics, then at least a widespread panic.”

Particle physics theorists openly admit they're in a state of confusion.
Science periodicals, papers, and leading physicists suggest updating fundamental principles of physics.

“We need to make a clean break and embark on a search for a new kind of theory that can be applied to the whole universe – a theory that avoids the confusions and paradoxes, answers the unanswerable questions, and generates genuine physical predictions for cosmological observations.”
Dr. Lee Smolin – Bestselling author of Time Reborn: From the Crisis in Physics to the Future of the Universe

2. Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society published the discovery of a ring of nine cataclysmic gamma ray bursts (GRBs) five billion light years across.
At a press conference August 4, 2015, Professor Lajos Balasz announced: “This structure contradicts the current models of the universe.”
Investigating teams of physicists are working in tandem to determine if known processes of galaxy formation created the ring structure.
If not, scientists will need a new paradigm to explain the evolution of the universe.

3. Science Daily reports that a team of astronomers have found the largest structure in the Universe: a large quasar group (LQG) four billion light years from end to end. Our present theory says it shouldn’t exist.

Astronomer Roger Clowes of the University of Central Lancashire:
“We can say quite definitely it is the largest structure ever seen in the entire universe. This is hugely exciting, not least because it runs counter to our current understanding of the scale of the universe.”
Additional problems with the Standard Model of physics
4. Gravity, dark matter, dark energy, and consciousness comprise over 96% of the known universe yet are completely ignored in the Standard Model.
It's disconcerting that we only know 4% of the universe, and that dark matter and dark energy remain unknown.

5. Cosmology on Trial reveals why Newtonian Physics, General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, and String Theory offer disparate explanations to account for gravity.
Anomalies and inconsistencies proliferate unchecked
Bestselling author, Pierre St. Clair, discusses what other authors skip over.
• three important initiatives routinely ignored
• five cosmological theories with no observational support or data as evidence
• all arguments are expertly clarified without complex jargon

St. Clair's manner is, "Just the facts, please. Show me the evidence.

Bestselling author Pierre St. Clair focuses on anomalies between theory and practice.

He won the prestigious Sir J. C. Bose Award 2015 for Investigative Journalism in the field of Science and Technology for his book Cosmology on Trial.

Although born in London, at five years of age his family emigrated to Canada.
His mother was a cultured lady who sent him for violin and music theory lessons when he was only six.
As a teenager his interest in classical violin dwindled. He bought his first guitar, taught himself how to play, formed a band, and began performing locally. Within a few short years he was touring throughout Canada and the US.
Music was always his first love, and remains so.

His journalism career began as a result of a college girlfriend's mother predicting his success as a writer. The daughter of a missionary in Shanghai, she had grown up in China and pursued an interest in the occult sciences, including palmistry.
One Saturday afternoon she asked to see his hand.
After a few minutes study she predicted, "One day you'll become an accomplished writer."

QUOTES FROM THE AUTHOR
"I love digging behind the scenes to find out what is really happening beneath the headlines. That's why I became an investigative journalist."

"Current theories about the origin of the universe lack verifiable data. In spite of this, many ideas masquerade as relevant theories and compete for greater elegance just like beauty pageant contestants."

"COSMOLOGY ON TRIAL"
The book is an all-inclusive overview of cosmology that introduces the reader to unexplained and unsolved mysteries of the universe which are rarely discussed in Academia.

The author reveals that Newtonian physics, General Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, and String Theory have still not proven whether Gravity is a wave, a graviton particle, or even a fabric of spacetime.
Gravity, the most common force in nature, is not even included in the Standard Model of Physics.

NASA physicists admit that 96% of the matter and energy in the universe is a mystery.

Can today's cosmology be complete if science only understands 4% of the universe?

REVIEWS
"Scientific progress and complacency go ill together, and St Clair has done a superb job in actually advancing the cause of real science." M. Lyons - USA

"This book simply makes the very strong point that our cosmology of yesteryear was not based on solid evidence, and our cosmology of today isn't either." V. DiCara - Japan

Pierre St.Clair has to be commended for this thorough research in producing this work, which effectively exposes the bluffing, guesswork and outright cheating so often practiced in the scientific community. Science is fine if it sticks to being science, i.e. based upon observation and experiment, working with actual data. However, when it comes to cosmology and especially cosmogony, this is generally not the case at all. Speculation, conjecture, hypotheses and, quite frankly, wild stabs in the dark are much more the order of the day. To the unknowing public these are all too often presented as scientific discoveries and sensational breakthroughs. The author and his metaphorical trial judge systematically show us how many ideas, such as the ‘Big Bang’, string theory, quantum mechanics, relativity, etc,all have little or no data to support them and at best are hotly debated among today’s scientists. Some are already dismissed and discredited by much of the scientific community, even as they continue to be taught in schools and colleges. We discover herein how physicists freely admit that they know about a mere 4% of the universe, with the other 96% consisting of what they can only call “dark matter” or “dark energy”. In other words, it is a complete mystery about which they know nothing whatsoever.

It has often been said that we more we know the more we realize we don’t know. In the case of scientific cosmology this could hardly be more true. Even what we thought we knew is constantly being called into question as more information is gathered. As St.Clair so rightly says, “In science today’s knowledge is tomorrow’s ignorance.”

Read this book if you want to know the truth behind the fantastic ‘scientific’ claims so often thrust upon us in the media, and also behind the pop-science books out there purporting to have all the answers. Don’t let yourself be duped any more.

It is very interesting to see Cosmology from a different angle, one that is not often spoken about. To learn how little we in reality know about cosmology, how much we take as truth, and how similar science can be with religion, is very interesting. Now of course, this is just one side to the story, but an interesting one.

An engaging summary study of the relevant details in the story of the origin of our universe, without complex jargon. The author's approach is "Just the facts please, show me the evidence." The Big Bang, Gravity, Quantum Mechanics, and General Relativity are on trial and their apologists go to the witness stand. Will they survive the cross-examinations? A profound eye-opener of inconsistencies taught as "scientific".
