Lola Alexander crept quietly down the city streets in cat form, her keen green eyes glaring out into the night as she attempted to discover the next new fun and exciting thing to do that night. And Erin was very different. That was a fact. She was so different, in fact, that most people would actually be shocked if she told them what she was actually like, and they might even believe that she was lying about who she really was if they were to find out.
Tanya Harding looked all over the place for her reading glasses but couldn't find them anywhere. She was distressed by the entire situation but she did not want to admit that to herself, so instead she chose to look quietly without alerting her best friends of the dire situation. They were going to be late if she didn't find her glasses soon and give the go ahead to leave, and that was something she wouldn't forgive herself for, considering they were surprising a friend with a road trip to her favorite baseball team's championship game.
Mel was the last to leave the office. She was excited to go home and feed her cat, Tommy, but that was to be expected.
It seems like everything she did these days revolved around her cat.
In fact, scrolling through her contacts list in her phone, the only male name that popped up was Tony. She wonders if she named Tommy after Tony or just liked Tony as himself. Sigh, never mind.
For young Maya, she knew that her life was destined to be one that was going to be hard. She knew that at the age of 19, since she didn’t have a husband or anyone who would take her, she would have to do this in order to pay off her debts. Of course, being a geisha at a brothel was not something that she expected, and she always thought that maybe one day, one day in the future, she would be able to get out of this.
Julia watched as the man that she hated came up to her. It was her fiancé, the man that her parents were forcing her to marry. They only wanted her to do that because she was to be the queen of the throne, and she wondered if maybe there was a reason for all of this. She didn’t like William, but instead wanted George the knight that she had been hopelessly in love with for a long time.
