I want to start out by stating that I have received this book as a Goodreads Giveaway. I did enjoy reading it and found it to be a pretty fast read with the characters being very interesting. That being said I do not feel that this is a stand alone book as I did end up having to go back to the first and second books to fill in some of what I felt I was missing having not read them from the beginning.
