Shay is terrified to fly, but when Max, a sexy-as-sin man, sits next to her in first class, he provides a distraction that changes her outlook on flying and leaves her longing for more.
Back home, Shay is shocked to learn Max’s true identity and worries she’ll be fired for her brazen behavior. Instead, Max demands a meeting with her. His sexual dominance and dirty talk drive her to heights she’s never known, but when she begins feeling like a prostitute instead of a sexually progressive woman, she decides to put a stop to the sexcapades.
When Max turns on the charm, will Shay stand her ground or bend to his will?

I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.
I responded to a request for a read-for-review from a blog post and I was chosen as one of the ones who would get the story. I requested it based on the short bit of information in the blog post which looked right up my alley, but I suppose I should have done a bit more research before I requested it. See, it's 64 pages long, and I typically only read stories that are over 200 pages, simply because I don't feel like I get a complete story otherwise. Especially under 100 pages.
The rating I gave implies that I did enjoy the book, and maybe it's closer to 3-1/2 stars, but we don't get halves. The story started in an intriguing way. I liked that Shay wasn't willing to roll over for Max. She wanted nothing from him other than him... none of his money, none of the perks his position could enrich her life with. When she met him, she didn't know who he was, so it's not like his position in life was the draw for her, and I liked that. And Max was a pretty good alpha male. He was definitely dominant. I'm not sure I ever quite understood what made Shay so intriguing that Max was willing to bend his "rules" for her, but I suppose it worked out in her favor. Sadly, just as it was getting good and they'd come to a sort of agreement about what they were doing, I'm reading the epilogue. Which was sweet, but I guess I expected more story. More conflict. More something.
Like I said, I did enjoy the book, and for a shorter story, it's decent enough, I just wish there had been more to the story for me to sink my teeth into.
Loved this hot, short story. I read it in one sitting, which is just as well, because the author had me hooked from the first page. The heroine is very likeable and the hero... *swoons*
Dominant, dirty talking, yet also considerate and downright yummy.
Well worth a read, just make sure you have a glass of iced water to hand. You're going to need it ;-)
This is a solid 3.5 stars for me. I expected a quick sexy book and that is exactly what I got...but I needed more. There wasn't much of a climatic situation, no real conflict, only some hurt feelings. The sex was hot. Max knows what he is doing and how to do it dirty. *swoon* Max and Shay's story is "nice" but I needed more meat to the story.
