2nd reading (accidentally deleted the first time dates) A book sale find. Still adore the short stories and cartoons and drawings. Especially like the candle and holder with holly marking each new story.
This is my kind of cozy up book at Christmas time. Old stories from the 20's thru the 50's. Found this at a book sale or thrift shop, forgot which. Sweet little book. It even has the previous owner's "Peggy" book plate from 1962 in it.
The author selected these stories to read aloud including a shortened A Christmas Carol. This little book is a keeper...
