An Unexpected Third 2 by Nicole Stewart was a hot and steamy 5+ star read.

Wow, this was a very hot and steamy read with a side of seriousness.

Andrew, Jordan and Alexis are continuing on where Book 1 left off. They are now living together and start to experience the same struggles as normal couples. Jordan get’s a job that takes him out of the house working long hours. Andrew and Alexis can feel a change in him and work hard to keep him feeling a part of the relationship. On a surprise visit to Jordan’s office Andrew and Alexis get quite a shock that will rock their relationship.

Moving forward Jordan quits his job and Andrew and Alexis work towards forgiving Jordan for his mistake. They all decide that it’s time to move forward and share their lifestyle with their families.
My heart broke for Alexis (ugly cry moment for me), her parents were horrible to her. I loved Andrew's mom and how supportive she was of the three of them. I can only hope that the other parents eventually come around and are as supportive.

There is a lot of hot and steamy moments throughout the book. I was so happy for their life changing surprise and I can’t wait to see where book #3 will take them. I highly suggest that you read book #1 before #2.Thank you Nicole Stewart for another hot and steamy read and I can’t wait to see what you have in store for these three.

Authors writing style: I was so excited to see that this story was having a part 2. The scenes, the characters, and the events in this story were easy to connect to. I have grown to love the characters and the way they explore the threesome life style. This author takes the time with each of the characters when it comes to emotions and explaining their love for each other as well as other events they happen in this story. Part 2 is a full story. Yes, the ending is left open, but no cliffhangers. The author pulls you in with enough love and emotions that you will open your eyes and see love in a different way.
Overview: (May have spoilers): In Part 2, Alexis, Jordan and Andrew have moved into a new place together. They have decided to continue the relationship and live a normal everyday life as boyfriend, girlfriend, and boyfriend. But things are changing. Jordon decides to go to work in an office, and they decide to take the relationship to a new level and tell their parents about their threesome lifestyle. Once things are in the open, Alexis, Jordan, and Andrew vow to still be together weather or not their friends, family, and co-workers agree or disagree with their lifestyle. Just as they are getting over one hurtle, another one happens. I can’t wait to see what will happen next.

Once again I am loving the story of Jordan, Alexis and Andrew. They each struggle with their own bits of insecurities about the relationship and following along while they work through this is an amazing ride! The three of them are super hot together with such a wonderful connection. It's that connection, that friendship and honesty that draws me in. I could not put this down and I was so thrilled to see more into their lives. Great read! It's a must!!

Holy hell this book is hot! While I am used to reading threesomes centered around the woman, I don't normally go for heavy guy on guy action so I was a bit hesitant. However, this book was non stop erotica from page 1 and I couldn't help but get hooked into the storyline despite my reservations. Hot and bothered start to finish!!!

I felt like the second book took a step back. The characters and dialogue felt basic, and the angst felt a bit too convenient. Furthermore, it felt like a lot of potential issues or insecurities were developed or surfaced within each character, but none were resolved. The sex scenes were still very good, but it didn't offset the issues I had.

This was better than the first, but not by much. There was a little more triad action, but Alexis was always in the middle. I wanted more interaction between the men, or at least where Jordan was in the middle. He seemed to really need it, especially at the beginning, but it was always one on one with either of his lovers.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series. However, this book did not hold my interest. There wasn't a story other than a couple of short instances where there was a problem in their threesome. Other than that, it was just sex scene after sex scene. 1.5 stars.

If you are looking for a story all about sex with no plot, then this one is for you.

I was disappointed in this book. I did really like the first one, but this one...not so much.

In this story, we pick up on the polyamorous relationship on Alexis, Jordan, and Andrew...Andrew being the most recent party to the relationship.

I personally felt there was zero plot...this story was about sex...about the threesome having sex morning, noon, and night every single day and there were often references of Alexis "already having 3 orgasm's"...whatever. In addition this relationship, although was described as Jordan and Andrew being bisexual, the truth was almost every scene consisted of the m/f/m combination with hardly any direct m/m contact. Yes there are some m/m touching, and oral sex maybe a time or 2 intercourse, but really its all about them taking their individual turns with Alexis.

So basically this is a story of 3 people coming out in a polyamorous relationship to their friends and family, and them having sex, sex, and more sex...get my point? If you are looking for a menage consisting of equal m/m as well as m/f this book IS NOT for you.

Received ARC of book 2 so I had to read book 1 first because that's just how I roll. Good thing I did because I definitely do not think book 2 is a stand alone story. I really appreciate the fact that she writes MFM that includes all possible configurations. I get tired of reading ones that don't portray DP ever. The writing is definitely better than most; however, there are word choices and repetitive phrases that bug the crap out of me. These idiosyncrasies are not enough for me to not finish the series (I highly suspect there will be a third book) but enough that if it happens in another set of her stories, I may be done.

I'm giving it 3.5 stars.

This is book 2 of Lexie, Jordan and Andrew's story. I liked the characters in book 1 and decided I wanted to see what the rest of their story is. In day to day life, I've never encountered someone who is in a triad relationship. I would imagine there are a lot of issues that go with it as this story describes. Once you get past the jealousy if the third person in the relationship, there is the outside world. That's what this book is about is the characters deciding if they want to make their relationship "real" by coming out to family and friends. I enjoyed the story and the steamy sex scenes!

This sequel is very well done. I would give the story itself a 4 rating and a sexy rating (ala La Deetda) of 5. Character development of the three principals (Lexi, Jordan and Andrew) continues and deepens such that these three become three dimensional. The author has not only deepened the characters but the story as well. The author also has a good sense of humor and that is reflected in the last half of the book. I think that Ms. Stewart shows real promise and I for one intend to keep reading her work.

WOW lots of sex. This book was a good extension from the first book. Alexis, Andrew, and Jordan are just so sweet together and love how they work together. It is really shitty how people treated them, but brave of them to decide to openly acknowledge their relationship to at least their families.

Emotional and Real

This is the first mmf romance I've read that captured the real struggle and emotional feelings in a polygamous relationship. I've read all of the authors work and can't wait for her next book.

Good follow up.

I had read the first book, enjoyed it. This is the second book, and I only like it. This book was heavy on the sex, but light on the story. There need to be more to this relationship than sex.

I'm not sure why I tried for book 2. It isn't badly written but they go through every single issue a threesome couple could. It started to get rather tedious for me. And there is so much sex that I wasn't even reading it anymore.
I think I should have stopped reading after Jordan did the thing.
