And there you have it.

He is captivated by her ass but when she goes on the dance floor to let it all hang out, he is overwhelmed by his feelings.

THIS WAS A REREAD REVIEW.

Safety is perfect, hero is a player, heroine is a virgin, no drama, no cheating, no condoms but he used them in the past.

_______________Original Review June 2016______
This is one of the better books by Jordan silver. The hero is a professional fighter he meets the heroine one night at a bar when he literally sees her ass. He is drawn to her and it just so happens that she is being stalked by one very sick twisted scary dude. The story is a gradual built up for both of them but still very fast.
I don't know how this author does it but some of her books are just nope gross and another one surprises me. This one was a pleasant surprise. I loved it and if the hero had been more honest with her I would have given it 5 stars. But it was more a 4.5.
Just awesome!
Keeper for me. :))

3.5*

You always know what you're getting with a Jordan Silver book and I just fancied a nice hot alpha male romance, you know the kind I mean over possessive male falls instantly for innocent female resulting in loads of sex and usually the declaration of "mine."
Wyatt Hunter is the reigning UFC champ and he's home for the holidays, all he wants to do is get laid, easy sex no strings but instead of heading to the city and a nightclub they're in Smileys.

'Our little end of the world doesn’t run to nightspots. So Smileys is about as close as we’re gonna get to some action.'

Wyatt's attitude changes the second he's through the door and he sees the most perfect ass he's ever seen.
I found it amusing the way he talks to his dick.

"Down boy not yet, let daddy make the introductions first, then you can come out to play." I fixed my dick in my pants as I kept my eyes trained on her Grade-A ass. Damn. I actually felt a slight thrill run through me at the prospect of the hunt."

I liked the characters and it ticked all the boxes but I just felt at times too much time was spent with internal monologues and after a while I found myself skimming these parts. Wyatt is completely OTT possessive and I do mean OTT, his 'meat' as he calls it is over 12 inches long and my eyes were watering for poor Traci when he pushed past her cervix and into her womb.
I loved the Hunter family especially the grand-baby wanting parents, the humour and easy relationship they all had, I like Traci and Cris
This is a hot enjoyable and humorous read as you'd expect from this author it's just not my favourite.

The longest book of this series and another good story written by Jordan Silver. I miss her releasing books often though. I hope she releases more books again soon.

The story was about Wyatt, 25 and Traci, 22.

Wyatt was in his hometown for the holidays. He's the reigning UFC champ. He went to a bar with his brother and friends to find a woman, a one night stand.

As soon as he entered the bar, he saw Traci. Well, not her face but her ass. And he wanted to have her but once he saw her face, he felt something more than lust.

Traci was a law student and an intern at the law firm downtown. She's out with her friends to relax and forget her stalker. A stalker who also showed up there. But Wyatt was there to protect her from not one but two men.

Like what Jordan Silver usually writes, her alpha men are very possessive and faithful to their women. They'll do anything to take care and protect their women.

Wyatt proved to her he can be trusted and that she's special to him. And he won't leave her until the stalker is on the loose.

There's also an epilogue. I loved it! I really love Jordan Silver's epilogues!

Classic JS and I loved it! I thought it was one of her better stories, but the formula and story will be very familiar to JS readers. It was hot, steamy and had some humor.

Safety gang safe
A few spoilers

I also want to note that there were few editing/grammar issues.

Typical Jordan Silver, uber possessive alpha, slightly annoying heroine. I did feel that it dragged on a bit. No sexy times til halfway through the book, but overall a good read!

This was an ok read for me. I didn't real feel the heat or passion between this couple that I usually expect with Jordan Silver's books.

I'm excited for Cord and the rest of the Seal Team Seven though!

Alpha UFC fighter and law student

Pretty decent story of insta-love between the reigning UFC champ and a law student who is doing an internship with a judge. They meet in a bar and BAM! Love at first sight as only Jordan Silver can tell it.

3.25 stars. this was ok . I really did enjoy Wyatt's OTT possessiveness ! but idk at times I was laughing and really into this and then other times I found my self a tad bit bored. There were some really Hot scenes :) i loved the epilogue though :) everything I love and want in one!

Safety: of course hero was a manwhore. not too much is mentioned about his past. he had a gf in the tenth grade but thats it. nothing serious until the h. the beginning of book he is out and his intentions are to find a girl to have sex with. he also says something indicating him giving/liking the taste of oral before (yuck ).lol he never does find ow he sees h and that's it for him. I'm seriously insta love! totally Ott possessive! haha I love it.
of course herione is a virgin! she does have a stalker . he is someone she went out on a study date with one time. he is one crazy guy! no ow or om (except for the stalker ) drama.
they don't use condoms. he does say he always have before.

Solid 3 stars

This could have been a great read. The first half I would give 4 stars, but the second half was 3 stars. I barely finished it.

The heroine and hero were likable. The hero goes to the bar with his brother and friends the night before Thanksgiving. Wyatt is just looking for a one night stand. He is used to getting anyone he wants since he is a UFC champion. However, one look at Traci and he falls hard and fast. This is instal-love, insta-everything, but it worked for me. I also liked that there was a stalker after Traci and the entire suspense revolving that issue. What failed me was that there was not much going on besides the stalker and Wyatt and his alpha behavior. I wish there was some drama or something. It needed more in my opinion.

The heroine's BFF annoyed me.

UFC champ Wyatt Hunter knows he can have any woman he wants, but when he sees Traci Starr from across the room at a bar he knows she is something different. Traci has no clue who he is and is not sure she wants to. Wyatt stakes his claim immediately on Traci, he takes the time for Traci to get to know him but everything is rushed when it appears she has a stalker. Wyatt has a big fight coming up and he wants to keep Traci safe as well as have his ring on her finger. Now he just has to get Traci to agree.

I thoroughly enjoyed this one, I thought it was a tad bit different for a Jordan Silver book. Liked Wyatt, he is caveman in his own way but he really tries to let Traci set the pace, at least for a little bit. Traci is adorable, liked her even if she was a bit naive.

Wyatt Hunter at twenty-five is the reigning UFC champ home for the holidays, with his brother Chad and their childhood friends Jace and Cole. Fresh from the circuit, all he wants to do is unwind with some hot young thing. He wasn’t looking for her, until he walked into a smokey bar on a cold winter’s night and saw the world’s greatest a*s in his crosshairs. Blindsided, everything changed for him that night, within a split second the overbearing Neanderthal, who was only looking for a good time, was hooked, line and sinker.

Traci Starr is a sweet, twenty-two year old virgin shy budding law student with nothing more on her mind than passing the bar. Out on a dare from her friends, after fending off the unwanted advances of a persistent stalker, she’s out of her element when her a*s catches the attention the overly masculine, extremely handsome, overprotective OTT, Wyatt.

Carl, was someone Traci met out running. He’d seemed harmless at the time, never a danger. Persistent, she agreed to go on one date to get rid of him. They went out once on what she thought was a study date between friends and when he tried to turn it into something more afterward she turned him down. He started with a few phone calls, then escalated to showing up unexpected like he did tonight and making an a*s of himself. He pushed her around a little once, it scared her but not enough to call the cops.

“Dude you're drooling, it's embarrassing."
"F… off Chad, that sh*t's drool worthy." My brother turned to get another look and I smacked him on the back of his head.
"Eyes off a*shole." We headed for a table in the corner where I could keep tabs on my a*s. That’s right, that a*s was coming home with me.
For some reason lately, I haven’t been able to find a woman who could hold my interest for more than five seconds. The last three or four have had the look, but as soon as they opened their mouths I was ready to shoot myself in the f-g head. I might be willing to overlook that sh*t though for the owner of that a*s.

His inner monologue:::
‘The first m-f to put hands on her was going down hard. I'll have a little talk with her about advertising my sh*t in public, as was obvious by the f-g leers.

My d*ck was taking in the show and giving her the stamp of approval, the throb was a little harder than it has ever been at this point in the game, and I had to do a little shift and pat to keep him down. "Quiet boy we're gonna go get her."
His ongoing monologue with his appendage attributing it with the ability to think coupled with his fixation on her a*s is highly entertaining.

“Go Traci…”usually an introverted person it’s the holidays and they’re out letting loose coining her dance performance as the Traci Starr show. I could hear the whistles and yells of my crazy friends as they clapped their hands and egged me on.

I sped up my pace and my laid back attitude was gone with the wind when I got half way across the room to her. There seriously was a roomful of a*sholes ogling her, no doubt salivating over her a*s. I’ll f… them all up if I have to”.

I knew this was a bad idea. I saw the hairy behemoth making his way towards me from the sidelines and prepared myself for an embarrassing showdown. It was obvious there was no way I was gonna be able to avoid this guy because he was coming in hard and fast.

“Come here little darling.” Just as he was about to reach his grubby paw out to snag me, I felt myself being lifted up and back. I didn't have time to react before I found myself turned against a broad, hard chest. I got a quick glimpse of topaz blue eyes before my lips were covered.

For a split second in time everything went out of my head and all I felt was him. A loud groan flowed from his lips to mine and entered my lungs. I didn’t understand the ‘f…’ he growled at me when he finally let me go, or the possessive way he ran his eyes all over me. “Trouble.” He ran his eyes over me like he was staking some kind of claim.

My heart gave one big thump at that look, but that's all it had time for before I was being passed off to someone behind him. I heard the behemoth roar something but my mind was no longer there. What the hell? It was the guy from the table and his friends. They'd all lined up behind him. The one he'd handed me off to had a tight grip on my arm as he shielded my body between his and the guy next to him. The only thought in my head was, ‘these guys are huge’. They had to be at least six four or thereabouts.

Wyatt:::
"Take care of my woman Chad let me take care of this sh*t."
The big one he'd passed me off to, shoved me behind his back. I was beginning to feel like a sack of potatoes.

Traci:::
For whatever reason the behemoth was not happy about being thwarted and was making enough ruckus to wake the dead. The way he was carrying on you’d think I was his long lost love.

All Wyatt wanted was a good time, he’d wanted to go to the city, but Chad moaned like a little girl about their mum if they weren't back in time for the holiday.
In the big city, I was sure to meet some fast and friendly type that would let me f… and walk away; but no, now I'm fighting off gorillas with bad breath and getting tangled up with this one. I should kick his a*s just on principle.

“Before I know it she'd have a damn noose around my neck, and life, as I know it, would be at an end. She had that look you wanna see across the breakfast table every morning while two or three rugrats with your f-d up hair and her amazing face ran around like heathens”.

"Why are you glaring at him, isn't he your friend?"
"No that's my brother and I think he might've just cost me a life sentence."

“Ma, we’re not gonna be back until tomorrow afternoon and we’re gonna have company”.
“What what’re you talking about”? The other woman in my life screeched on the other line. Ma takes her holidays very seriously so I knew there was only one way to calm her down before she set my dad on my a*s and this shit turned into a circus.
“I think I met the mother of your grandchildren tonight”.
“You what, where is she, who is she? When can I meet her”?
I’d just told the f-g grandbaby monster that I might have a direct line to what she wanted most in life. One more reason to kick Chad’s a*s, it was his fault that I was standing in a parking lot the night before Thanksgiving having this f-d up conversation about a woman that I hardly knew.

Ma was still cackling away in my ear about meeting my Traci. “I’m working on that ma. Ma she blushes, and she’s shy and sweet and she has the greatest a-I mean uh she’s pretty ma”. Damn you idiot, you can’t tell your mother that you’re jonesing for this girl’s a*s.
“Huh, nice save son, you’re just like your dad”.
“Too much information ma really”.

Carl’s reign of terror, began with incessant messages, stalking, taunting, terrorising her to the extent of giving her a lethal shot in public to render her, dead. Escalating, he makes a soundproof wooden box and they eventually discover crimes crossing state lines.

“Bro you just met her, are you sure you want the hassle”? Sometimes if Chad wasn’t my brother and if ma wouldn’t go upside my head, I’d pound him into dust.
“Just checking bro, all I’m saying is if you’re not planning to stick around it might be better for her if you cut your losses now”.
I was this close to killing my mother’s son.

“How often do you do this anyway? I don’t want your mom to think I’m just another one of your conquests.”
“Nope, never met anyone who deserved the honor, not before last night when I walked into that bar and saw the girl I’m gonna marry.”
“You know you shouldn’t play around with stuff like that, some women might think you’re serious. Lucky for you I’m not one of them.” Hah, I’ll let her go on believing that sh*t for as long as it makes her comfortable. She’d get it when she’s walking down the aisle to me in the not too distant future, she seems like the type to fight me all the way to the end.”

“Well son looks like you found you a good one.”
“How can you tell dad?”
“She’s like your ma at that age.”
“Say what now?” Were we talking about the same two people?
“Don’t be fooled son, when I first met your mother she was sweet as pie, had to dig to get a word out of her.” Both my brother and I busted a gut at that one.
“No she wasn’t.” The woman is a tyrant.
“So how did you come to be the Jack and Marie show?”

“She let me know in no uncertain terms that she wasn’t going to be one of my light skirts; I thought I was gonna have to kidnap her or something back then, followed her around like a lovesick puppy until I finally put my foot down and told the fool woman how it was going to be.”
“You stalked ma?”
“No you a*s, we met at a party on campus. I had a girl back then but that night I called it quits with her because I knew”.
“I wore her down, never gave up even when she was hurling invectives at my head and calling me every name in the book.
“So how exactly did you wear her down dad?”
“Persistence son and a lot of patience. You young people have no game whatsoever.”
“I got lots a game old man, you must be thinking bout your other son, he’s an ass.”

“A woman like that, makes you work for her, she’s worth it, but you better be sure she’s the one”.
“Marie likes her, plus the fact that she’s the first one you’ve brought around here since you became a man. You better not be playing with my wife’s emotions, you know how she is. All night I had to hear about her soon to be grandkids, the woman is obsessed.”

They all had a lot to say when I picked my baby wildflowers. Those flowers felt more special than any bouquet I’d ever sent a female before.
“What’s going on in here?”
“Our son’s being romantic. It’s so sweet.”
“You want romance I got romance.” He picked her up and laid one on her, which made her twitter and blush like a schoolgirl.
“There, you think your son got more game than me?”
“Oh Jack hush, I don’t see you bringing me any flowers.”
“Hey now, I sent you roses just last week.” He gave me the stink eye like I’d brought my girl flowers just to show him up with his woman.
“That’s different, those were store bought; he took time and chose these special”.
Dad slapped me behind the head before mumbling something about upstarts and heading back out. No one was surprised when he came back ten minutes later with flowers from the garden.
“You know how many thousands of dollars I coulda saved over the years if I’d a known you prefer tumbleweed?” He joked as he gave her-her flowers.

“You know I think we should have a formal announcement in the papers, and do things the right way.”
“Ma, why can’t we just get married and be done with it?” I guess that was the wrong thing to say, you’d have thought I suggested we get hitched at the drive through or some sh*t.”

Ma had finally given in on the wedding, as soon as I’d threatened that she’d have to wait on those grandkids she was fiending for, she’d caved like a lava cake. The woman is truly obsessed. I was almost afraid we’d find her at our bedroom door with instructions on how to get the job done.

Epilogue
Wyatt
***

“Traci, come get your damn kids will ya?” The little sh*ts grinned at me with chocolate milk mustaches and sticky hands. “Dada.”
My heart melted down to my toes when she looked at me with her mother’s eyes. Her brothers were still trying to kill each other on the play mat I’d got them against my wife’s wishes. She thought the little pre-convicts were too wild as it is, but I figured this way the mat would cushion some of the falls and thumps they were fond of inflicting on each other.

“What were you up to little girl?” Willow is two going on twenty and can get up to more sh*t than both boys combined. The twins are three and a half and always getting up to some sh*t that their mom is always blaming me for.”

“I looked around my workout room at the carnage, they had their own playroom, but by the time they were two the boys refused to play anywhere but in here and this one followed when she was old enough to move.

“Since Trace was rivaling Orca for size it was up to me to give them their bath at night and this sh*t always turned into a freak show”.

“If it wasn’t them tearing up my shit, it was the damn dog. F-g ma never let me have a pet, swore she had allergies, but her grandkids wanted dogs and suddenly she’s cured, lying a*s.”

Wyatt was sexually experienced, professing an appendage of twelve and a half inches. This book was OTT, pure unadulterated fun. Nothing of substance but lots of absurdities. Wyatt’s mother, Marie, Traci’s partner in crime…was the BEST.

No one ever really leaves the nest in his family. His grandparents live on the grounds, as does his brother Chad and himself. His sister Lisa is away at college but home for the holidays and will also live there when she finds the man she wants to marry. Loved the generational living conditions. An eclectic cast of supporting characters.

Overall Opinion: Well, this is a hard one for me to rate. I found the H's OTT instalove and possessiveness pretty ridiculous -- BUT it also kept me into the story in a weird way. There were some moments that I literally laughed out loud and I don't think that they were meant to be funny... Did I enjoy it? Yeah, I'd say that it was enjoyable most of the time. Will it be one to go on my favorites shelf? No. I'm going to go with a middle of the road rating with 3 stars.

Brief Summary of the Storyline: This is Traci and Wyatt's story. They meet one night at a bar when Wyatt is home for the holidays (he is the current UFC champion). It is pretty much love at first sight for Wyatt and he takes hold of her (literally) and will not let go. In a whirlwind -- they start a relationship, have some sexy times, grow stronger feelings, and they deal with some stalker drama...but they find their HEA.

POV: This alternated between Traci and Wyatt's POV.

Overall Pace of Story: Ok. I didn't skim at any point, and I felt like it flowed pretty well. The ending was a little abrupt for my tastes, but I got all the answers to my unanswered questions which helped with that pet peeve of mine.

Instalove: Major instalove. I was just so darn intrigued by the H's possessiveness that it didn't bother me that much, but no one can deny that this was in fact instalove!

H rating: 3 stars. Wyatt. Man, he was way OTT possessive. I think he tops all the H's I've ever read in the possessive category -- and that's saying something! I'll give it to him though, knew what he wanted and went after it. He also lived with his parents which is big no-no for me, and I don't care that he had a separate wing with a private entrance -- he still lives with his parents!

h rating: 3.5 stars. Traci. She was a sweet and innocent girl. I found the reason for her innocence confusing , but otherwise I found her ok.

Sadness level: Low. I didn't need any tissues.

Heat level: Moderate/high. There are a lot of scenes and they get pretty steamy even though they don't start until about halfway through the book.

Descriptive sex: Yes.

Safe sex: No.

OW/OM drama: Yes. The h went out with a man 1 time and he became an issue when he started stalking her, and he caused more drama once she got with the H.

Sex scene with OW or OM:

Cheating:

Possible Triggers:

Closure: This had kind of an abrupt ending, but it also had a good amount of closure with a jump ahead epilogue that shows us their HEA.

How I got it: It was part of my kindle unlimited subscription.

I usually read J.S. when I’m overwhelmed in RL and want mindless, OTT, shenanigans… but this was BORING. I didn’t give it a ton of page-time, but nothing is really happening. Insta-love-lust followed by her pushing back because she’s not that type of girl…ZZZzzzz.

A guilty pleasure

Anything she puts out I gobble up. Is it over the top? Yes it is. Is it at times cheesy? Yes it is and you know what.... I love it. Sometimes I don't want down to earth real life love. Sometimes you need something so far from reality it just makes you smile and that's what Jordan Silver gives you.

Great story and easy read.

In pure Jordan Silver's style, you will get an over-the-top possessive alpha hero who will turn all caveman to protect his woman. Is there insta-love/lust in this book? Yes definitely and it worked for me as usual!

Best of JS's Bad Boy series and probably one of my favorite of JS's books. Great H, and the heroine wasn't as timid etc. as a lot of her heroines are. She did have a TSTL moment, but other than that, I liked her.

This was one of those times that I just couldn't appreciate the OTT caveman vibes Wyatt was giving off. I admit that I kind of sped through some of the dialogue since it had me cringing. I've read stories with a similar breakneck speed pacing but this one had the added factor of Traci having a stalker. Traci didn't take the stalker very seriously and that was ridiculous to me. She was also a bit too self-conscious in the beginning for my liking. I don't think there was any description of her body besides her having an ass that helped me understand her reasoning for saying that Wyatt was going against type. The sex scenes were titillating until I was also a bit put off by something I usually love in books. I'm a fan of heat of the moment/conscious decisions not to use condoms but here there wasn't even a discussion or a stray thought about it afterwards from Traci (unless I missed it). I guess it was all part and parcel of the 'you're the one' whirlwind but that omission bugged me a bit. My two star rating of this book all boils down to me not being in the mood I needed to be in. On another day in another mood, this would have probably been a three star.

I loveee Jordan silver books and this one is no different. Even though this is my first review of one of her books. I love them all. If you’re looking for possessive over the top hero’s then you need to read all of her books.

In this one Wyatt is a champion fighter that’s home for the holidays, thanksgiving. Which is funny to me cause I actually read this on thanksgiving day. Him and his friends go to a club where at first glance knew he wanted to be with tracie. He knew he at least wanted one night with her. Until he saves her from a man and then finds him self wanting to keep her.

Tracie is law student wanting to be a lawyer, BUT she has a stalker. Wyatt saves her from the stalker and then sticks to her like glue. From taking her the next day to his home so she can meet his parents to then moving her in with him once the stalker takes things up another notch. Then he pushes past her fears and proposes.

Two weeks later and their married but wyatt and his friends are still trying to find her stalker. Eventually they do. We get a cute epilogue of the couple.

What do you do when you walk into a bar and fall head over heals in love? You make sure she falls too! Wyatt and Traci meet and fall in love in about two seconds, but this book is about so much more. Wyatt is the reigning UFC champ and isn’t looking for the love of his life, but he finds her anyway. Traci is trying to finish law school and avoid a stalker, so she really doesn’t have time to fall in love. This story takes you on the journey of these two lovebirds, who can’t fight the fact that they are meant for each other. It’s a great book, with side characters you will love, and a HEA for every romantic reader! Amazing!!!

I cannot fathom how this book got a four-star rating. No....just no! I love a caveman alpha, but this goes beyond. Chips in rings to keep tabs on their women? "Bagged and tagged" is what that he called it, and really sums up the relationship. Insta love doesn't normally bother me, but in the context of this story, it is ludicrous. I found it hard to believe Traci was studying Law, she came across as an airhead.

I have enjoyed the few JS books I have read, but unfortunately this one was a little too OTT for me.

Loved it!!

Ok this is my second time reading this story and I absolutely loved it. It is not your typical Jordan Silver read, but it is definitely in my opinion even better than her typical. I just love love love her heroes. They are raw, rough and so sweet in their own way. I really hope we get the parents story and the brothers. Those would make awesome spin offs to this one, as long as you keep this same writing style with those as well. I would also love to see some of your works in audio if possible😀❤️ Great job, love your writing!!

the champ of books

I really enjoyed reading this story the many times I’ve reread it. Glad I went ahead and read it purchased it as well. The male lead Wyatt is the epitome of what dreams are made of when it comes to meeting a bad boy Prince Charming mix. I love that there was substance to this story alone with all the feels and emotions. These stories along with the Lyon series, Eden high series and most of Jordon Silver’s earlier novels are the best there is.

Champ

I want to give Jordan 5 stars for this book but it desperately needs better editing. The plot is…….phenomenally engaging and very well developed. The characters are fun and also very well developed. I loved them, all of them. I didn’t want to put it down. I have to give a 4 due to awful editing which includes the ending that appears incomplete. The story is complete, however, it actually stops in the middle of a sentence. Why?!?!?! Can you PLEASE fix it?!?!💖💖💖💖
