Casey Stoner and his team are diving off the coast of the Bay area trying to locate the wreck of an old pirate ship, rumoured to have been laden with gold. They don’t expect to find anything left of the ship itself, but there might be valuables still underwater. The discovery of an old chest filled to the brim with treasure, is more than any of them could have possibly hoped for. However, some might say they should have left it where it was…
Spoilers....this was a very good story. In the beginning I felt like the story was moving too quickly with 5 people dying in the first few pages but as I read on I realized there was so much more than that. The story moved quickly with a lot of fast paced action and some very gruesome imagery. Not so much gruesome imagery that turns you off of the story but I felt it was just enough.
There were a few grammatical errors but not so much that it really distracts you from the story.
Overall I was able to get through this quickly because I felt that I needed to find out how this was all going to work out. I thought it had a very sad but great ending.
It was so difficult to read that I was unable to finish. The plot itself is creative and somewhat new. The writing style and grammar ruined it for me. This writer relied on words that didn't fit the sentence. This book should have an editor look over it then consider another release. Great potential but unable to pull it off.
