What happens when you fall in love with your worst enemy?

Tough as nails and bright, Elena Drazic has one weak spot: Lennox Solt. She has loved him since they were kids, but could never have him. First it was age that kept them apart--and then betrayal. Lennox shattered the only family Elena has never known, leaving her crew fractured and her heart broken.

But Lennox served his time, and now he's back--ready to rebuild his life. No good can come from his freedom, but Elena can't resist. She's never forgotten how he makes her feel or the promise he made to her years ago.

Now she must choose--her man or her crew, her heart or her family. When loyalty and true love go head to head, which will come out on top?

Lennox by Dallas Cole ~ 4 Stars

"He's an outcast. A rebel--with blood on his hands. But maybe I can save us both..."
Lennox knows he's a dead man walking. He's done his time and paid for his crimes, but the crew never forgets.
Elena Drazic was raised with grease under her nails. She's no stranger to the ride or die mentality. So when Lennox arrives back in town after an accident that tore her crew apart, she knows nothing good can come from his freedom.
But she can't forget how he makes her feel. And when she's with him, she can't remember why she's supposed to stay away."

**** This is a sweet sexy love story between Elena and Lennox. Elena lives and works with her uncle at a race car repair shop. Lennox is one of the racer. Elena has been in love with Lennox for a long time and the feeling was mutual but Elena was too young. Just when Elena was old enough, tragedy happened and Lennox was put away for 4 years. When he was finally freed, Elena has moved on with her life. She is older, wiser and even more beautiful and irresistible than before. Lennox has to fight his way back as his racing family has outcasted him. When Lennox reappeared though Elena could not ignore all the old feelings that came flooding back. Did she really move on? Or will she succumb to the bad boy?

“I made a promise to you long ago, and I want you to know I – I haven’t forgotten about that. I swore to you that someday, if circumstances aligned, I’d be a better man. I’d be the man for you.”

I really enjoyed reading this book. For one thing it’s about race car so it’s pretty hot. Elena is a pretty brave girl who can stand up for herself especially for the man she loves. Lennox despite what everyone thinks, he is a good guy at heart. There are some actions in the story that makes your heart race… toward the end with the accident I was gasping for air and screaming NO, NO, NO! at the same time… you will see…

“God, Lennox. I don’t care about you being perfect… I just want you. All I’ve ever wanted is you.”

Over all it was a quick, fun (racing), sexy read. There are actions, angst, love, and plenty of heart-wrenching moments. The author was very descriptive in her writing especially when explaining the technicality of racing and about cars - seems she is very knowledgeable bout the subject. This was a great debut novel and I am looking forward to reading more of her novels in the future. If you love car racing, hot sexy type romance give this book a shot.

Lennox is the brand new debut release from Lennox Cole. This book is an action packed, thrill ride through love, loss, sex, heart break and happiness.
What do you do when the one person who truly holds your heart comes back into your life after committing such a terrible act. Well for Elena, it was still love that person no matter what, and I can totally see why, Lennox is HOT!!
I devoured this super racy read in one sitting, breathing in the words, gripping onto the edge of my seat like I'm sure I would have done if I was zooming around the racetrack with Lennox.
Lennox is a stellar debut from Dallas Cole. I found the book very easy to read, the characters were easy to connect to and Dallas sure knows how to write a wicked hot sex scene. I'm definitely going to be keeping my eye on this author and gobbling up all her future works!

Lennox - Ride or Die Series
Dallas Cole
4 stars

New author to me .. yes .. debut novel … amazing. I think we will be clicking up the Ride or Die Series the minute they are released from now on!

Elena Drazic was raised by her Uncle at his repair shop. She isn’t your typical girl. Elena was raised with grease on her hands and heartbreak in her life. Her young heart was torn to pieces by Lennox Solt. Four years she has been without the man who holds her soul. The events surrounding Lennox being put in prison torment her but now the man is back. Her life is about to be turned upside down once again.

Lennox is coming for her. He knows he is a dead man but he wont forget the promises he made to Elena and he has never let her go. Deceit clouds the truth … pain smothers the heart … but Lennox will find a way. And yes there is a whole lot of no good going on here ... and its bad bad bad.

This is a really great story and I LOVE the fact that Elena is the lead mechanic to the team her Uncle leads. The storyline took us down a somewhat foreseeable line BUT I can tell you the characters are well written and I look for Dallas to expand and bring us more in the next release. The flow of the book was very good as well.

Click this one up. Its fast paced and an easy read. This is a good one to curl up by the fireplace with and watch things unfold between a torn family. There are some really great secondary characters which Im sure we will be reading more about very soon. Nash, Jagger ….. yeah …

Thank you for the ARC Dallas. Review to post to Ramblings From Beneath The Sheets.

Lennox is the first in a new series from debut author Cole which hold a lot of promise. Bad boy with a penance for one thing

Drag racing….

Until one night changed everything and Lennox is now an outcast. Just those few word had me intrigued and wanted to read this book . And Cole didn’t disappoint. I have read a few books about drag racing when the hero was heavily invested into the sport and the heroine is somewhat a bystander.

Well in this case , the heroine is no bystander and I was hooked. With Lennox’s story, a badass ex con who is a rebel who trying to change his past. He just got out of prison for manslaughter and now he is the outcast of his former race family. A family he wants back his life especially one particular person Elena. He determined to do anything to get back into racing and Elena back in his life.

However it has been three years and things have changed Elena isn’t the innocent girl he left behind that was too young. She has matured into a young woman who is talent mechanic and driver and taken by the one man who wants him dead. Nash

Elena is torn between two men and all she wants is things to be the way that they were. Free to love Lennox without the repercussions coming back to bit her in the ass. The feelings may have gone away whilst he was gone but now she is back. Lennox is a thorn in her side she doesn’t want to go away. As Lennox is the only one who understand the real her and appreciates her talents.

Will they be able to make it to the finish line?

Lennox is angst story of redemption , grits and challenges. A great written debut that seamlessly breaks boundaries like it the first to do so. These characters aren’t angels but they have something that makes the story special despite being a bit cliché with Lennox.

Cole incorporates a lot of ideas into this book and plays out something like an action movie Drag racing, gangs and a vendetta which makes this book an entertaining read and one you don’t want to miss.

New author and Debut Novel…well I think there might be great things to come from this author is this is anything to go by.
While the book may for some follow a predictable path, please don’t let that deter you from picking it up because the content and context more than allows the author to flex her individuality and her attitude.
Elena Drazic is a member (by familial connection) of the Muscleworks Crew. Her Uncle leads the crew and they have been through more than their fair share of hurt since the death of one of their own but it was especially painful because of the other parties involved.
The ties on both sides have cut deep but is everything what it has been made out to be or does the fingers of deception point to a more convoluted situation?
Lennox Solt has served his time but for many it is not long enough.
But for Elena it has been four long years without a man that she had thought would own her heart forever but circumstances tore them apart, can circumstance piece them back together again?
Could Elena move past the pain that the past holds over them and see through the layer of deceit that Lennox is being smothered by?
Would the crew ever allow him to take his rightful place back within the team or would his alienation be terminal?
A choice between a man that she has always loved and an Uncle that is her only family can only be described as being caught between a rock and a hard place but Elena is one tough cookie and is smart enough to piece together the clues that unlock Lennox’s isolation.
As a passionate follower of all things car related, the setting of this book spoke volumes to me and the fact that Elena was the main mechanic of the crew had me itching to get started.
But what actually cemented the whole story was the fact that this author nailed the detail, the terminology, the attitude, the whole shebang!

In this story, we follow Lennox who just got of jail after serving three and half years in jail for manslaughter for killing on his crew members in a drinking and driving accident. He meets up with the love of his life Elena but he knows that he’s not good enough for her, no matter what happened before and after he went to jail.

The story reminds me a lot of Fast and Furious. It had fast cars, crews, and talked a lot about loyalty. Elena is not your typical girly girl which made me like her a whole lot. She got down and dirty like the boys and often times showed them. I did like that they didn’t talk down to her because she knew more about cars even though later in the story they did (but considering the situation can’t say I blame them).

Lennox is all good boy who gets stuck in the situation. He sacrificed everything that he had so that he can do the right thing for both Elena and his grandmother. He is that swoon worthy love interest that we all want in life. I would have liked to have seen more about his character before he went to jail and maybe even during his time in there. We touched upon and I found it interesting. It would have been more interesting to dive deeper into it.

I wished that Cole would have slowed down in the story, offered more scenes between Lennox and Elena. I would have liked to have seen more angst between the two of them before they exploded in their reunion, it would have been more satisfying. We only touched upon their relationship before he got into jail, but we didn’t really feel that connection. I think a little more development there would have gone a long way.

Overall, it was a pleasant story to read, and with more development it would have been explosive.

Lennox is drama filled, secret laden, over-the-top excitement. This story will fulfill your fast and the furious romance needs.

Lennox has been released after a three year, four month and eighteen day prison stint. His crime has banished him from his crew. He's an outcast. Elena Drazic is part of Lennox's old crew. She's taken the role as the behind the scenes wizard mechanic. She's has bigger dreams but she finds herself pigeon holed in her current crew position.

Now that Lennox is out of prison, Elena's old feelings resurface. She's able to put the past aside and wants Lennox. Now she has to find away to convince her uncle and her crew to forgive Lennox or she'll lose her family.

Elena comes into her own. She's been under her uncle's thumb for long enough and begins to stand-up for what she wants. "I appreciate your concern, Uncle D, but this is my life. I'm tired of riding shotgun in someone else's. Let me choose for myself.." Lennox supports Elena, which encourages her to follow her dreams. He's what's she's been missing and now that he's back she fights tooth and nail to keep him.

I enjoyed the fast paced, action filled, angsty story. The big secret is easy to deduce from the start but it doesn't detract from the all the excitement. There is plenty of angst to go around. Action Romance junkies this book is for you. 4 "All I need is you" Stars.

This is Dallas cole's debut novel and I loved it.

Elena is a strong feisty female who works in her uncles shop, is part of a racing crew and has dreams of racing too. To Elena her crew is her family and she is fiercely protective of them.

Four years ago The crew was divided by tragedy, a tragedy that sent Elena's crush Lennox to Jail.

Lennox is now out of Jail outcasted by the crew and fighting to start his life again. Lennox never got to tell Elena how he felt about her and wants to prove to her the man he can be and he wants to fix the wrongs.

Lennox is one HOT bad boy with a heart, he always puts others first even when it means sacrificing himself.

This was a fast paced, action packed read, it had some HOT scenes and really gave you the emotions of the aftermath of the tragic events leading to Lennox's downfall. It's a love story of finding the person that fits you and the passion that comes with that. It highlights the power of family and loyalty and I highly recommend this book. This book has a fast and furious feel to it!!!

Great read!!!

This is a great debut novel for Dallas Cole. I was intrigued by the blurb, I mean a girl who can fix up cars and a boy who’s a” dead man walking”…. I had to know what happened.
Elena has been in love with Lennox since she was a kid. She would be around him at the shop and he would be her shoulder to cry on. Lennox was her constant, until tragedy struck them and destroyed the only family she had left, their crew.

A great car crew read with sexy men and a woman who's been with the crew since she was young but never a car racer always the fixer!
Elenas parents died when she was a teen, her Uncle D has taken care of her since and now that she's a grown woman she wants her own life! She wants the man she's always loved but could never have, even now she can't have him! Because he's got blood on his hands and not just anyone's blood!
Lennox has done many things in his life but the one thing he has always know was that he's always love Elena! But he's got blood on his has as far as anyone knows and now that he's out of prison he's going to work on the one promise that he made Elena, but he's not so sure she will see things his way!
Lies, revenge, heartache, criminals, control and emotions all run deep in this read! It's a great read that brings you right in to the crew and lives of Elena and Lennox!

After almost 31/2 years Lennox Solt is being released from the pen. Elena Drazic has been in love with him for years. He'd made a promise once to make her his. But it wasn't to be, a terrible tragedy struck and Lennox was sent to do time.
Lennox has returned, but he's finding it hard to get a job, people are turning him away and the Muscleworks Crew where Elena works and her Uncle Drazic is the team leader, are even refusing him. Elena's not so harsh though, she feels he's served his time, but can she convince her crew.

An exciting racing/romance. I love to see the heroine working what is usually classed as a "man's job" it's great. I liked Lennox, he had a lot of crosses to bare, and showed a lot of strength of character. The racing scenes are excellent, they kept me on the edge of my seat.

A great debut novel. I'll be looking for more work by Ms. Dallas Cole in the future.

4* read.
This was a new author for me so i was looking forward to reading it. I don't want to give to much away of the story but Elena has always had a crush on Lennox and when something happens and they are apart for a few years what will happen when he's back and she's dating someone else.
Lennox and Elena were really complicated at times but you could always feel their chemistry and the struggles they both faced. There is some dark times in the book but it kept you gripped till the end and I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.

With the circumstances in this book I knew it wasn't going to be an easy read, emotion would be high as they are dealing with a death of a loved one.
With the return of the person responsible for the death you know shit is about to hit the fan.
Diving further into this book you know there is something not quite right but you want to keep reading to find out what it is. I knew that it wasn't what it seemed but I didn't know the why. After the revelation all is forgiven and the anger has lessen and now everyone can begin to heal. You finish the book knowing it was a good read.

Hot guys, fast cars, drama and action all rolled into one book.

I enjoyed reading Lennox & Elena's story it has great characters and a fab storyline and a really good debut book from Dallas Cole but....i wanted a bit more from it too, at times i felt like the story was a bit too fast paced in areas where i wanted more details and i felt the same when it came to Lennox and Elena's relationship i was hoping for a little bit more angst and drama from those two.

Loyal Lennox

First time read for me by Dallas Cole and I'd definitely read more. Strong start to the series.

I'll admit I'm a cover whore so naturally Lennox caught my attention and the price was another incentive to give this author a go. Editing and formatting were tight.

If you like the world Fast and Furious is set in then you'll enjoy the Ride or Die series. These characters live, love and drive hard and value loyalty above all else.

Elena's uncle Drazic took her in when her parents died instead of letting her go into the system which is what some others would have done, Elena has been raised tinkering with the cars that the crew members raced in her uncle's shop. The crew - Lennox, Troy, Nash, Jagger, and Cyrus all respected Elena for the way she takes care of each of their cars and they all accepted her into their fold when he uncle was granted custody of her. Lennox was always someone that Elena crushed on, that was until he caused a terrible accident that left one of their crew members (Troy) dead and Lennox was sent to prison. Now Lennox is out after serving his sentence and Elena finds herself still crushing on him....not a good thing since she is dating short tempered Nash (Troy's brother).

I have to say that most of the primary and secondary characters were likeable even when they were being jerks...especially Nash, there were times he could have used a good beatdown or two, but even then I held out hope for him. I hated the people Lennox worked for but since no one else would hire him with his record he didn't have much of a choice especially since he was caring for his elderly grandmother. I did like the way he handled himself though in some very tough situations. I also loved the chemistry between Elena and Lennox, but I have to admit that there is something about Jagger that I seem to be drawn to and I cannot wait to read his story.

Wow, what a ride.... Lennox is kind of like the Fast and Furious, featuring a sweet, sexy bad/good guy

Watch Out ... Lennox is the guy, that's about to become your new book boyfriend <3 & your gunna love him

I freaking loved this book, I was gripped from the start.... its real fast paced, keeps you on the edge of your seat & keeps you guessing on where the story will lead

I love the storyline/plot.. its so original, full of suspense & surprises... I honestly loved everything about it, especially Lennox <3

I was so shocked to find out that this was the authors debut book... I mean WOW this girl can write
For a debut book, Lennox is absolutely flawless... I can really seeing this author go very far in the writing world

In Lennox we meet Elena Drazic... she is so not your typical heroine. She lives for cars and races
After her parents deaths, Elena's uncle takes her in and raises her.. he owns and runs a car shop/garage, and has taught Elena everything she knows about cars

Elena is also a member of her uncles race crew.. he role is kind of the mechanic, she builds and fixes the cars up to racing condition.... although her dream has always been to race the cars and not just fix them

We also meet Lennox... he has just been released from prison for the murder of his best friend... Troy, he killed him in a car crash while driving drunk one night

Now released, he is looking for work to support his grandma... he knows he cant return to his old crew with Drazic.. he is dead to them after killing Troy. Lennox and Troy were both in the Drazic crew.. but so is Troy's brother Nash..... Nash hates Lennox, and will never let him return to the crew after he killed Nash's little brother

Lennox grew up in the Drazic crew.. they were family to him, Lennox made a promise to Elena when they were younger... he promised to be a better man and make something out of himself so he could be a man she deserved

Lennox has always loved Elena... even as kid's, he always say her as his future... it was thoughts of Elena that got him through many nights locked away in prison.......

But now he is out.. he must stay away from her

Lennox has gotten himself mixed up in some huge trouble with some dangerous people.....

Its life and death on these streets and he must do whatever it takes to stay alive... even if that means he must stay far away from Elena... she deserves a great man to love her and he is not a good guy

Lennox was a really great book... I loved the story, the characters, the excitement, the fast pace, the action, the car chases and of course Lennox <3<3

I found myself loving Lennox from the start.. I could tell underneath the bad guy, was a really sweet, amazing man

Lennox is a MUST READ !!!! DO NOT miss out on this amazing book.... Its a MUST READ !!!

Also a HUGE CONGRATS to the author... on a sensational debut <3
Just Wow....

A Explosive Ride.. 5 HUGE stars

Title: Lennox
Series: Ride or Die
Author: Dallas Cole
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: January 27, 2016

Lennox is a wonderful story it had me transfixed from start to finish, I couldn't put it down and read it in 2 days. Every chapter drew me in more than the previous. The story had me sad, smiling, and blushing all the way to the end of the book. I liked how the story flowed and how it keeps you reading to find out what is going to happen next. Author Dallas Cole did a great job when writing this book. Readers can expect to feel each twist, turn, and emotions throughout every moment of the book. I found that the POV between the characters was very enjoyable. I love that this story is told from each main character. The story captivated my attention due to majority of the story was about forgiveness and redemption. Here is a title bit about each character with out giving any spoilers of the book.

Lennox is all about adjusting to a new life after big changes. Lennox has just come back to home after serving time for manslaughter. His old crew either wants to kill him or considers him dead to them so now in order to make money to take care of his grandmother he must go work for a family that are vindictive and dangerous. He promised Elena that he’d take care of her and love her forever before he went away but in order to do that he has to be a man that is worthy of her and the road he is traveling down now is getting him further away from that man. Elena's uncle is the leader of Lennox old crew and there is no way they will accept them being together.

Elena lost her family and now all she has is her uncle and the crew. She has been with Nash for two years and although she doesn’t love him she is content with their relationship, that is until Lennox comes back. Not only does his return bring back her love that she had for him but it changes Nash and she doesn’t like the side of him she is seeing. She wants Lennox but the crew would never approve but soon that doesn’t keep her from trying to be with him. Lennox thinks he isn’t the man who deserves her but she is set to prove to him that he is and that she should be the one to decide if he is. He made a promise and she intends to see that he keeps it.

While there are a couple of sex scenes, I find that a lot of the heat comes from the characters thoughts. These characters are not all about sex. They also want to be better people and to find someone to be with forever. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters and plot development. I gave this book 4 stars and would defiantly recommend this book to all my friends who read the same types of books I do. I am am glad I had a chance to read this book.

Can definitely say the Dallas Cole will be an author I will be following. She has gained a new fan with me and I can't wait to read more!

Lennox has just come back to town after serving time for manslaughter. He never expected to be welcomed back with a celebration but he never expected to be blacklisted. His old crew either wants to kill him or considers him dead to them so now in order to make money to take care of his grandmother he must go work for a family that are vindictive and dangerous. He promised Elena that he'd take care of her and love her forever before he went away but in order to do that he has to be a man that is worthy of her and the road he is traveling down now is getting him further away from that man. Let's not forget her uncle is the leader of his old crew and there is no way they will accept them being together.

"I know I'm not nearly the man I want to be in order to do her justice. She deserves so much more. But if I, imperfect and striving as I am, am going to make her happy, then I'll fight for that with all I can."

Elena lost her family and now all she has is her uncle and the crew. She is in the background of everything and she wishes she could be more. She wants to race cars as well but they don't think she can handle it.

"My fate is out of my control. I'm the crew's pawn, for better or worse. They're the only family I've got, so maybe a dysfunctional family is better than no family at all. And Lennox thought he'd bring me down. Ha. I was already there."

She has been with Nash for two years and although she doesn't love him she is content with their relationship, that is until Lennox comes back. Not only does his return bring back her love that she had for him but it changes Nash and she doesn't like the side of him she is seeing. She wants Lennox but the crew would never approve but soon that doesn't keep her from trying to be with him. Lennox thinks he isn't the man who deserves her but she is set to prove to him that he is and that she should be the one to decide if he is. He made a promise and she intends to see that he keeps it.

"I don't care about his past, his present... all I see is the boy I fell in love with years ago. God. I've been willing to overlook so much about him just because he has a clear, honest heart and determined soul."

What happens when Nash takes things too far? Will Lennox be able to continue with the jobs his new job entails? What happens when things go seriously wrong? Will Lennox and his old crew be able to work together for the greater good?

Check this book out!!! The characters are great and I can't wait to get more of their stories.

Elena Drazic has been in love with Lennox Solt for a long time. He is a few years older and he is part of her uncle's racing crew so he is off limits. Not that she ever thought he could feel the same away about her. They were friends. A tragic accident tears their crew apart and Lennox goes to jail leaving Elena and go on without him.

Lennox Solt was in a horrible accident three years ago that landed him in prision. In the aftermath not only did he lose his best friends who he considered family he lost the girl he made a promise to take care of. Now released from prison he is once again faced with a desperate choice. But can he stay away from the only family he has ever known and the only girl he ever truly wanted.

This was my first book by Dallas Cole and I really enjoyed it. The background of street racing was very interesting and different for me. I liked how the cars and racing played into the whole story. Elena was a great female character who grows throughout the book. She starts off a bit timid when it comes to the men in her life. She allows them all to step in and take charge while she stays in the background. But Lennox always treated her differently, she cannot deny her feelings and attractions toward him.

When Lennox returns from prison everything changes for Elena. She always had feelings for Lennox and believes in him no matter what he has done, he paid his debt. Secrets are revealed when she finds out that they may not know the whole story of what happened that horrible night--when one of their own was killed and the other sent to prison.

Lennox was sexy and sweet, my heart broke for him. I loved how he cared for Elena and wanted to be a better man for her. The chemistry between them was strong and I was rooting for them to get their HEA. The book has some emotional scenes that will have you crying. In the face of danger Lennox stood up to save the girl. I look forward to more from this author. I would definitely like the stories of the other guys Jagger, Cyrus, Nash.

OH. MY. GOD!

First off, just let me say that if this is honestly Dallas Cole's debut novel... I can't even imagine how good her subsequent books are going to be. :)

I dont want to give away any spoilers in the review (which is going to be hard) but I want to talk for just a second about the main characters - Lennox and Elena and the racing team of Drazic Muscleworks. Lennox has spent a few years in prison after being convicted of drinking, driving and causing a fatal accident which led to the death of another team member - Troy. Troy was the brother of Nash - who is currently Elena's boyfriend. When the accident happens Lennox is exiled from the team. Elena is a teenager but she is old enough to have some pretty strong feelings for Lennox but Nash and the other members of the team, including her uncle have convinced her what a bad person he is for basically killing Troy. Now, a few years later, she is with Nash and Lennox is released from prison. This is where the story really takes off.

WOW! This book completely caught me off guard and BLEW ME AWAY! I read a lot of books in the MC genre, MMA, sports, etc. But this was my first racing book. I must say I LOVED IT! Dallas Cole did it up right! I know absolutely nothing about car racing but I never once felt like an idiot while I was reading. She didn't include any technical jargon, just kept the car lingo neat and simple so any one reading it would know it was about racing but wouldnt get confused or bored. The characters were very well developed, especially Nash, Elena and Lennox. The storyline flowed along at a great pace, it was super easy to read. The editing was perfect, I noticed no spelling or grammatical errors at all.

Overall, I give Lennox 5***** Wickedgoodstars and will DEFINITELY be recommending it to my fellow readers! I think Dallas Cole has set the bar really high for her next novel and I look forward to reading it as well!

3 1/2 star read - recommended!

Debut release from this author and not a bad one at that. I enjoyed reading this and the “racing” element definitely appealed to me. I love motor-sport but I don’t really enjoy reading it in a fictional way, but this seemed to balance story and racing rather well. There wasn’t an over-abundance of it which suited my reading palate.
Characters were alright. I don’t know if I would call Lennox that all-consuming bad boy alpha male because he wasn’t really, but he had some tough points to his character. A little rough around the edges, doing what he needed to get by but he definitely had a conscience. Elena I initially liked, her tomboy demeanour and her desire to be a part of the team made for good reading. But I also found her a little….what’s the word…..naive perhaps? Silly at times with her thoughts and a little shallow in places in terms of the secondary characters.
Good plot lines run through this but I wonder if maybe it was a little rushed in places, it lacked build up in certain spots for me. Sometimes the details were missing and things simply touched upon where there was an opportunity to expand. What should have been a highly thrilling read from beginning to end kind of let itself down a little due to this. The high octane scenes normally associated with car themed books didn’t quite grab me the way they should have. In terms of emotional connection – I wasn’t feeling it so much. It’s not something I haven’t really read before in other authors but I did find that for a debut the story was extremely well executed. I liked the writing style, didn’t love it and there weren’t really any lines as such that jumped out at me. So I guess you could say a good solid read that doesn’t take too much thinking about, with some good characters and a decent plot. I’d read this author again without a doubt.
3 ½ stars from me but recommended all the same.

This is the debut novel by Dallas Cole and what a debut it is. I absolutely adored this book and cannot wait to read it again and again. If you are a fan of the Fast and Furious film franchise, then this book is definitely for you and I cannot recommend it enough.
It follows Elena Drazic and her family or “Crew” from Muscleworks garage. She has been in love with Lennox Solt for as long as she can remember but after a promise that he made, her future is ripped out from in front of her as tragedy strikes and Lennox is sent to prison.
Fast forward almost 4 years and Elena, now a 20 year old bombshell, is the best car mechanic around and is the invisible force behind the Crew. Lennox, now a tatted and toned hottie, is released from prison early and heads straight back to Ridgecrest to try and rebuild his life (and to try and keep his promise). Of course the first person he bumps into is Elena and the sparks are still there between them, but with more intensity than they both realise.
Tensions mount as news of Lennox’s return filters through the town and the Crew try to deal with their feelings for him. He was their brother after all, but still remains dead to them. Elena however knows the real Lennox and decides that he has paid enough for his mistake but can she really betray her family for Lennox or are they doomed to repeat the mistakes of their past?
I really hope that this is the first in the Ride or Die series from Dallas Cole and would love to read about the other members of the Crew and what has happened in their pasts to them to shape them the way they are.

**arc received for honest review**

Lennox is just getting out of Prison after a long 3.5 years behind bars for killing his best friend he sacrifices his freedom for the ones he loved, his Gran, he had no choice other than the choice he made which come at a big price.

His Freedom.

His Love.

His mates.

His crew.

His family.

Elena Drazic lives with her uncle who has raised her since she was 8 after her parents were taken in a tragic accident, she loves cars and know how they work and what they need it’s in her blood she loves working for her uncle with the crew, her family.

After a history together many years ago Lennox wants her he just needs to prove his worthy of her to himself and make a better person of himself without a life of crime, which is going to be hard when he is buried deep within it.

Lennox is finding his way through being back in society and has no one other than his Gran his no longer apart of the crew after what he done so he mixes in with a crew that are highly dangerous and will use whatever weakness they find to make him do their dirty work….

His biggest weakness….. Elena

This book had a good story line but we weren’t taken on the journey with them we didn’t feel the roller coaster ride we didn’t feel there pain or there tears, it was a good book it just didn’t do it for us!

Lennox is a great debut from Dallas Cole that I loved a ton. Elena Drazic has been raised fixing cars, and the genius in the background to her racing crew. She's been in love with Lennox since she was a teenager, but a tragic event took him away from her. Now he's been labeled dead to the crew, and she's supposed to stay away from him. Lennox has paid the price for his mistake, and his life is destroyed in the process. He never got over Elena though, and all he wants to do is be the man she deserves, but he has a price on his head. They can't stay away from each other, but will Lennox be able to get the price off his head before she's harmed in the crossfire?

WOW! This story rocked. The character development is great, with secondaries that need their own stories. A fast paced, original, and well written story line flows smoothly. Dallas Cole does a fantastic job catching my attention from the very beginning, while keeping my heart racing throughout. The chemistry is tangible, leading to smokin' hot sexy scenes. Intense twists and turns kept me on my toes, and made sure that I didn't put it down until I was finished. My one issue is, that after all the amazing goodness in the heart of the story, the ending was a bit rushed. Other than that, I freakin' LOVED Lennox, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

3.5 Star

With the circumstances in this book I knew it wasn't going to be an easy read, emotions would be high as they are dealing with a death of a loved one.

With the return of the person responsible for the death you know shit is about to hit the fan.

Diving further into this book you know there is something not quite right and you want to keep reading to find out what it is.

I knew that it wasn't what it seemed but I didn't know the why.
After the revelation all is forgiven and the anger has lessen and now everyone can begin to heal.

You finish the book knowing it was a good read.

Look out Colton Donavan there is a new racer in town, and his name is Lennox.

Lennox is Dallas Cole’s debut novel, and I am a fan. What a great book. I couldn’t put this baby down. I love the history between Elena and Lennox and no matter what Lennox did, she always saw the best in him. I’m mean come on, for a criminal he’s a flippin saint.

I think Ms Cole did a great job with her first book. She kept me entertained from start to finish and had me wanting more from the Drazic “Crew”. I hope we see more from these lovely guys. So many stories to be told. I want to know them all on an intimate level. Cyrus just seems like an old soul who would love deeply, Jagger who is the obvious playboy, and what about Nash? Does he get a HEA? What about Uncle D? I have this picture of this Hot older gearhead in my mind, and I would jump for joy to read his story. Has he ever been in love? So many questions???

Needless to say Dallas Cole has acquired a stalker…er I mean fan. Yeah I meant fan. LOL! I look forward to reading more from her. I believe she is going to be an up and coming author and ya’ll should be on the lookout for her. She is going to do amazing things with her career.

DALLAS COLE is heating things up with her debut novel LENNOX. If you love drama, action and sexy men, then this one is for you. Lennox is the story of Elena Drazic and Lennox Solt. After three and a half years in prison, Lennox is released. Having a hard time finding a job being an ex-con, Lennox turns to the Muscleworks Crew where Elena's uncle is team leader and Elena works. While Elena's uncle initially wants nothing to do with Lennox, Elena feels that he has served his time and should be given a second chance.

Can Elena convince her uncle and crew to take him on? At the same time, can she move past the hurt and pain of the past and forgive Lennox? Torn between her only family and Lennox, Elena must fight to do the right thing.

Lennox is a bad boy, but beneath that bad boy is a heart that beats for Elena. Passionate and sexy, Lennox is the ultimate man's man whereas Elena is feisty and strong. This couple balances one another out and complements each other perfectly.

LENNOX is filled with it's share of drama, angst, passion and excitement. From beginning to end, Cole keeps readers intrigued. What a fantastic debut novel!
