Hi, so excited about being on Goodreads and sharing my Middle School books with you! I live in beautiful Noosa, in Australia. For most of my life I was a teacher of Middle School kids, and what an awesome experience that was. It gave me the opportunity to understand the problems that kids go through.
My writing partners are Kaz and Bill Campbell, they were also Middle School Teachers.
We hope you enjoy our books as much as we love writing them for you!!!

Girls book

Okay I was pre reading this for my daughter. If your child is immature and young like mine I suggest you also pre read this book. You may want to determine which parts of the book you let your child read. There is a lot of stuff on self confidence and mood swings and the mechanics of puberty that I thought was very helpful. However there were more teenage topics like peer pressure for sex, or drugs or eating disorders that are too advanced for my kid. Just because a child is having physical changes does not always mean socially they are ready for those types of ideas, so just use your own judgement of your own child. Overall I am glad I purchased it and I think the book will be helpful even if she needs to read it in sections and as she matures.

I was excited to receive this book then immediately disappointed. It isn't going to be as useful as I hoped. Where are the pictures? Vulvas, breasts, fallopian tubes, menstrual and ovulatory cycles? Where is the feminism? Where is the normalisation of the body beautiful? Nah. Cannot recommend.

Also I was looking for something for an eight year old - and this isn't it. Will keep looking.
