Unique perspective
This book provided a unique perspective of WWII, one that I haven’t often encountered. It is about a girl and her family, living in Nazi Germany during the war. How they, as citizens, had to flee for safety many times. It was heart breaking and raw, told in the form of flashbacks as the main character adjusts to life in Georgia after the war. New jobs, new beaus, and coming to terms with everything that happened in her past to make her who she is. I really enjoyed it.
