A simple, but interesting biography. I liked that the author included definitions of science terms that kids could understand. Also, the maps and other text features were excellent.

This is a nice introductory read for elementary age students learning about science and its most famous representative. This small picture book is also perfect for students who are on their way to becoming independent readers. The layout is done well with bright colors, photographs, interesting facts scattered throughout, a timeline and simple glossary.

In a recent conversation, Albert Einstein came up. My 8 year old said, "Wait. He was a real person?" Obviously, we needed to remedy the fact that she knew so little about him/thought he was fictional. So we've got a couple of books checked out of the library to learn a bit about Albert Einstein. This was a nice introduction.
