Limitless: A Man's 300 Mile Run to Prove Anything Is Possible

Rate this book
"Determination is stronger than weakness."

This was one of the biggest lessons I learned running 300 miles. When I was fighting physical and mental fatigue, my determination and optimistic attitude prompted me to get up, put one foot in front of the other and stay driven towards my goal.

This is a metaphor of how to live life. Whether you are training for an athletic event, trying to lose 20 pounds, building a business or reaching for a certain financial status, you need determination, discipline and the "I CAN" mindset to support your mission.

I will go to great lengths to avoid running. It’s not my thing. So when my husband offered me a copy of Limitless that he’d picked up after listening to Author Justin Levine speak, I was less than enthusiastic. To my delighted surprise, I was hooked after the first page and ended up reading it straight through. The book is an inspirational look at obsession and the lengths someone will go through to test one’s own potential and limits. While I am not a runner, I do understand that inner drive that makes a person obsess over conquering something. Levine’s book comes the closest in describing why. Why? When others ask why do “that”? Why climb Mt. Everest? Why start your own business? Why put your body through torture? Why do you get out of your comfort zone? I’m still not sure I have the answers to those questions, but Levine explains well why he pushed his boundaries in “Limitless.”

Dang...

Incredible journey, grippingly documented. I felt the anguish and elation right along with him as I read. The intention behind this project has infiltrated my mind during my runs already. When my mind and body want to stop, the reality is I have a whole lot left in the tank.
