When Esther is sent to meet with a new pack to maintain a shaky level of peace between the shifters and everyone else, she knows she’ll be facing her worst fears, but nothing prepares her for her reaction to a true alpha.
I gave this book a rating of 5 because I loved it. Esther learnt that you shouldn't judge others by the way others have treated you. She learned that not all alphas are bad and mean. Some alphas are kind and caring. I recommend this book to anyone that loves shifters.
I have held off reading this story for so long because I was broken hearted for Carl. But I am glad that I read it. It reminds me of how much I miss Ava Delaney stories. It also explains the attraction towards Patrick. While I didn't get any of the HEA's I was hoping for, I still love reading these.
Damn if anyone in this series deserves a HEA...its Esther. After everything she's been through I'm glad she decided to open herself enough to give Patrick a chance...
Poor, deluded Carl...he really does need a good woman...hope he finds his HEA as well.
Sorry, this just didn’t connect with me. I found it kind of cliche for a paranormal romance, and there was nothing in it that grabbed me. I’ve read other books that used very similar tropes that I enjoyed more.
This was a very different shifter story than what I am used to reading. Although it was good I just don't think it was one of the best that I've ever read
Ok for a quick read, you get invested in the characters. Didn't read all the books in the series so it was o.k., but this wasn't really a stAnd alone book.
You don't have to read this book to follow with the events in the lost souls series, but its nice to see Esther finally find a little happiness and her place in the world, without hearing about it second hand :)
