This poor Hxh, 3 instalments later and they're still hobbling along trying to find some peace and normality. The drama in this instalment comes in the form of an ow with
1 * for their love. The unnecessary drama and extended story line washed away the other 4 stars.

5 STARS

This book didn’t miss a beat from the last novel. As a reader, you’re immediately drawn back to Jace and Cat’ s world.
Cat is surrounded by her best friends while having to deal with her crazy mom and the havoc that she has created. I do wish Cat would have found her voice sooner with her mom. She was one evil lady.
The opening chapters could have got ugly fast but I loved how it was written. Jace and Cat had the support each other and also their friends.
They both worked as a team because they knew how important the end result was. I thought both were wiser beyond their years.
Despite them only knowing each other a short time, the two had some serious chemistry together. This was present from the first book until the last. You could feel the sparks fly between them.
My heart broke for Natalya. She was so broken and was clinging to a dream, a fantasy. Her story was bittersweet.
I enjoyed this trilogy immensely. Especially the Pi poems. It gave the reader a special view into what Cat was thinking.

Wow the third book was a perfect ending to the series. I wish that it had gone into a little more detail about their forever but perhaps there might be a fourth book we don't know about yet !! At least that is what I am hoping for !! I loved this series a lot because you got to see how both Cat and Jace grew as individuals and how they also grew as a couple. I think the only thing that would have made the book even more perfect was if we had gotten to know Gavin a little bit better. I would recommend that you pick up this book and give it a read because once you start reading you will not be able to put it down. This whole series was an incredible journey about two people that got lost in the shuffle of life and who were dealt pretty crappy hand as children and as teenagers. You got to see them grow together and learn to love each other as they learned to love themselves. I honestly don't think you will be disappointed in the journey this book takes you on. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

In the last book we left off at Thanksgiving dinner where Jace found out he had a son Gavin.

Time progresses and Angelica is still the WITCH OF THE WEST. She threatens Cat with Gavin being put back into a group home in order to make her stop seeing Jace. This works because both Jace and Cat agree that Gavin’s well being is worth the sacrifice of their relationship.

Natalya’s health and wellbeing deteriorates and Gavin’s future is in jeopardy.

Rachel and Don show up with some pretty incriminating evidence towards Angelica. Cat uses the evidence to turn the table in her and Jace’s favor and we get our HEA.

Great finish to this series! I really enjoyed the journey that we went on with Jace and Cat throughout all three books in this series. Melanie Shawn did a great job creating a story that left you wanting for the next installment and this final one was well worth the wait.

It was hot, passionate, frustrating, infuriating and heartfelt. All the things that a great book should be.

I'd definitely recommend the Someday series to anyone!

This is like a train wreck.. you just have to figure out how it ends.... I absolutely hated so many characters, the story and the way people were treated with no consequenses was insane and psycho...I dunno how this series has such high ratings but... I'm glad it's over, I'm glad someone loaned them to me so I didn't waste any money on them... they've honestly just given me a headache from what I skimmed over...

2.5 Not that it wasn't a good book, but just not for me. I only read the last one because I wanted to see if Cat would ever find freedom. Overall, a bit saccharine though. Angelica was a really far-fetched character to me. Honestly though, this author does know how to write really steamy scenes! Not the same old, which was refreshing.

The final installment of the “Someday Series” is a fitting ending to the start of a new phase of life for Jace and Cat. They met, dated, romanced with a passion and weathered some real upheavals in their life. And now is the ultimate testing time for their love and trust with each other, in each other.

Life sure dealt a mean curve ball with the arrival of Jace’s son, Gavin throwing Jace and Cat for a loop. Control, power and manipulation being the fodder for Angelica James, she is conniving and thrives on blackmail to circumvent situations and people for her own personal gain. But there is always an end to the madness and Cat does a fine job of putting an end to it, with sophistication and class!

“Forever Us” is so much more than a love story. It’s the continuous evolution of two people, who have immense trust in each other despite adverse situations. It is the story of two people who understand the importance of family, relationships and empathy. And it is the story of two beautiful people who believed in each other beyond any boundary, with immense love for each other, that gave them the courage and strength to go past the emotional bumps and insecurities.

Melanie Shawn does a fabulous job of drawing out the contrasting depths of various relationships. Relationships are bonded with heart and not just blood. And when you have your heart in the right place, adverse situations can make you very strong. With love, support and compassionate friends, Jace and Cat welcome their new life with Gavin – a perfect beginning of a new life!

Touching, poignant, passionate, emotional... I was raw with emotions running through me, after I finished this story, the third and final installment of The Someday series. And I had to take a moment. It is so powerful, beautiful, moving, and heartbreaking.
There's so much drama in Jace and Cat's lives, and relationship. But it's not created by them, but the outside forces around them. The way they stand together, how their love for each other grows through these obstacles, is breathtaking. The feelings they have for each other are intense, and so deep. They center each other with just a look or a touch. They heal each others hurts, wounds from the abusive childhood they both had. They protect each other, fight for each other, stand together strong. The passion they have for each other is flaming hot, the heat level is high, the fervor they have and show for each other is remarkable, and sizzling.
The tender way these two people, Jace and Cat, who both have had very challenging childhoods, embrace the parenthood, melts your heart.
There's a deeper message with the story about suicide, about family, love, commitment, loyalty..
I read a lot, and some stories you like, but will not remember the next week. Some stories you love, and they stay with you for a while. And some stories are not only memorable, but they make a difference in you, your life, with how the story touches you, and makes you think. That's what The Someday series has been for me

Melanie, does it again! She delivered a great story line in the 3rd book and ends it so beautifully. I never thought the bomb shell Angelica brought to light, had any merit at all. I honestly thought she was up to her dirty ways. That alone blew my mind away! If that wasn't enough, once Cat and Jace left Hollywood her mom is still trying to control and ruin her life from a far. This lady has nothing on Mommy Dearest. She's so evil and vindictive that you can't believe it's possible. Her hatred for her daughter is unfathomable to me. This 3rd book had me on a roller coaster of emotions. I was angry with Cat's mom, then sad for Cat and Jace. Then swooning over Jace and his love for Cat and Gavin. I also was angry with Natayla then felt bad for her, just a quick second. My emotions were all over the place with this book and I loved every minute of it. OMG! I totally loved at the end of the book when Jace makes a reference to one of the Crossroads characters. I just love it when books mention other characters from other books or series. I makes it so real as if they really exist. I was super pleased with how this story line started and ended. I highly recommend this series and any series Melanie Shawn writes. Trust me, she won't disappoint you at all. Her books are fun, sexy and have emotions. I just love them all!!

Forever Us is the conclusion of Cat and Jace's story and the last of the Someday Series. This is not a standalone book and is intended to be read in series order.
The beginning of the book picks up where the prior left off, with Jace and Cat having gone to Cat's movie star mother's house for the holidays. Cat's mother is mentally ill and manipulative, orchestrating a bombshell that is life changing for Cat and Jace. I was shocked by the turn of events and absolutely on edge, wanting to know the resolution.
Forever Us totally delivers on the resolution, not only of the huge life changes dropped on Cat and Jace but on their story as a whole. This book was so emotional for me. I was entirely invested in the characters and their happiness. This book made me chuckle, made me cry, I gasped with outrage...it did everything an amazing book does, which was make the reader feel deeply. It was one of those books that I suffered a book hangover after completing...I couldn't start another book for a bit, trying to move on from this series.
I would love to see some of the secondary characters return in their own books (Cat's college roommates are great characters!).

OMG!! I was so excited to read the final part to this amazing trilogy and it was even better than I had imagined it would be... At the end of second book One day his, we saw Cat's vindictive mother drop the biggest bombshell, which sent their worlds into a spin... In Forever us, we see Cat and Jace fight against the pure evil, that is Cat's mother.... The things she will do to get her own way, will put their love to the test.. Angelica will stop at nothing to break Cat,even if other innocent people are in the way... Their fight to stay together will leave you in tears and their love will take your breath away.. I warn you, tissues are needed as you go on this rollercoaster journey... I wanted to scream out loud and strangle Angelica, can they find their way out of this hell that they're in??? I adore Melanie and Shawna's books, this whole series has been amazing, they have outdone themselves yet again..

The third book of the Someday series gives us the resolution of Cat and Jace's story. Neither Jace nor Cat has lived what anyone would call an easy life, but nothing they've experienced could prepare them for what they were to face in overcoming Cat's superstar mother. Angelica is a force to be reckoned with and when money's no object it seems you can buy almost anything else. Judges, lawyers, social workers, they're all human, and many can easily be bought if the price is high enough. When you're up against something like that it can seem like there's no hope. Will Jace and Cat get their happily ever after. It's a rough road to get there but it's worth the journey once they've arrived. Buy this book today and follow along with their journey.

I am in absolute love with Jace and Cat.i love how in this series they are honest with each other and work through things together making them stronger as a couple and individuals. I hate when a love story has lover separate because of a "miss understanding" or not being honest because that's not love. This series has love at its purest. And we can all learn from Jace and Cat. I have to say I almost called on sick so I could finish this book earlier. I just could not stop thinking about it. Keeping my fingers crossed there will be a fourth or at least a book for each of the roomies that include inside peeks at how Jace and Cat are doing. Hey just saying.

Forever Us is the latest instalment in the Someday Series by Melanie Shawn. A read that is brimming with emotions and poignant scenes with characters that captivate with undeniable heated chemistry. The bountiful attraction that is portrayed between Cat and Jace is scorching and continues to delight readers from the start, with many twists and challenges in an absorbing story that has readers riveted. A stunning finale in an equally stunning series.

Finally, Cat turns the table on her mother and manager. What a piece of work. The only thing I can say about this series is that I would have loved an epilogue to hear about them actually married and having children, etc. It would even be interesting to find out what eventually happened with her mother. The other thing I wondered is why the manager hated Cat so much or was he just mimicking the mother. All in all, I absolutely loved this series.
I couldn't put it down.

Once again I real this book straight after the other two, and it was a really nice ending to the series. Gavin is adorable and I really like the dynamics between him, Cat and Jace. I like how everything ends as it should be, there is some character development here but not much, but it really was a satisfying ending which wraps up everything very nicely.

I wasn't excited to start of this book because of how the last one ended. This started a little slow, with Jace getting to know Gavin and Cat having to accept the things happening in Jace's life. Cat's mom made it her life's mission to make things difficult for Cat. She introduced Gavin but gave full custody to Nat who doesn't know or even care about how to take care of a child.

Nat went down south pretty fast in the story. Fully believing that she'll have her own little family with Jace, and then coming to terms with the reality and just pushing Gavin away as she sleeps throughout her day. Jace and Gavin's relationship is pretty smooth sailing, and he connects to Cat really well, too.

The drama happens when Nat dies from cardiac arrest due to the drugs she took, and Jace faces the fact that 3-year old Gavin lost his mother, although he never really got close to her. But this made Cat step up in taking care of Gavin which her mom didn't like. Cat's mom threatens to take Gavin back to the system and remove him from Jace's life completely, so Cat and Jace agrees to do what's best for Gavin.

But Rachel and Don, Cat's caretakers growing up comes to the rescue to give her CCTV and audio files that proves that Cat's mom faked her accident in the first place and that she seduced Jace just to get a strand of his hair for the DNA testing, and her plans of using Nat and even orchestrating her death if things go downhill. With the help of Don's nephew, Blake, who is a lawyer, they go up to Cat's mom to tell her that they will be releasing these evidences to the news outlets if she doesn't give full custody of Gavin to Jace, gives him the title to the house and million of dollars that were given to Nat, and that she should also never come in contact with Cat, Jace, Gavin, Rachel, Don, Blake, Elijah and everyone their close to ever again... This is when Cat's happily ever after starts.

Such a great way to end the story. In some ways I had hoped Don and Rachel would be the one to save and protect Cat like how they did when Cat was just growing up. But I still loved it.

I love Jace and Gavin's relationship, and it really touched my heart when Gavin was afraid his mom will be sad wherever she was but Elijah's twin girls assures him that they get God to tell their grandmother who also passed to take care of Nat. This made Gavin feel better. :)

There was also a part where Jace read Nat's diary after she passed, and I felt so sad for her. She felt so alone in her last few days... And it was not Jace's or Cat's fault, but I feel for her. She has always been alone, and the fact the she came into terms about how toxic she was and yet she was not given the opportunity to ever get better - she died feeling sad and guilty and alone. Everyone deserves a second chance, I felt so bad for her.

It ended with Jace proposing to Cat, too. And I'm genuinely happy that Cat gets to be happy, too. I hope her mother never bothers her ever again, and I'm happy she has found a family in her friends and in Jace's friends, too.

I absolutely loved the ending and this would also have to be my favorite book in the series. Really happy I decided to push through with it.

Great series.... had all the feels

Melanie Shawn is a one click for me!! This series was much more intense than some of the others I've read by these authors. Cat and Jace are an amazing couple! I loved how they healed each other and faced everything together, you could feel there love for one another. It's a beautiful series about two broken people who grow together and heal each other. They face unthinkable situations but do it together. For me I prefer when the couple stays together and face things as a team. Melanie Shawn are an amazing duo and for me they just get better with every book I read. They also right wonderful secedary characters and I look forward to reading Sandy story next.

Forever Us is a fantastic but twisted read by Melanie Shawn. Jace and Cat's story is laced with an evil mother who wants nothing more than to ruin her daughter's life and make her miserable. Their story is packed with drama, humor, sexy bits and suspense. I enjoyed this book and can't wait for my next read from Melanie Shawn. Forever Us is book 3 of the Someday Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger.
