For full disclosure I received the ARC of this boxed set from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

This series made me wonder where the heck I have been all this time. Jaycee Clark is a wonderful writer and she takes you on a distinct, fast paced ride in each and every one of these books. These books can stand alone, but the series follows the Kinncaid Family and oh what a group of brothers. Clark gives you everything you would want in both her male and female protagonists. The story lines are well developed and as I finished each book I felt that I had not only gotten a romance but had been given a well written experience. I don't gush over too many books, but this whole series was enjoyable. Another huge bonus for me is that the characters are all "real" adults, no angst filled new adults here. For those of you who enjoy interracial romance there is even one in the set for you. Book 4, Deadly Games features a black woman with a very interesting background. You will not regret picking this series up as a bundle. However, you may regret the amount of sleep you lose because you couldn't put it down but you will enjoy the ride. Each book offers something different with the different personalities of the Kinncaid men and their love interests and the challenges they face.

I very much enjoyed the books in this series, and it was nice to have all five in one "boxed set" (albeit a digital boxed set!). I will say that reading them all fairly close together, there were times that the books felt a bit repetitive towards the end, and the final book did feel a bit repetitive in itself. But it was also interesting to watch the family dynamics of the Kinncaid brothers among themselves and with their parents throughout the books - even though it also felt a bit like it would be taking one's life into one's hands to fall in love with a Kinncaid. ;) Overall these were enjoyable romantic suspense novels, and I look forward to reading the novella that takes us back to when the Kinncaid parents met and how it all started.

Deadly Shadows Review: I personally loved it. Jaycee Clark gave me suspense, mystery and steam. I did figure out who the killer was very early in the story, I'm okay with that. I kept reading to make sure I was right and why? Sometimes Aiden got on my nerves with his overbearing and protectiveness. Overall I did like him he's smart, loyal and loves his family. I understood where he was coming from but he needed to figure out when to give Jessie space. I liked Jessie but sometimes she didn't think and I was like really. I loved Jessie's love for her dead husband and family. Jaycee Clark grabbed my attention in the prologue and kept it through the whole book. I enjoyed meeting other members of the Kinncaid family. Jock and Kaitie made me laugh. I loved how the whole family has everybody's backs no matter what. My biggest complaint is it's very slow moving, I'm not sure why.

Deadly Ties Review: Jaycee Clark grabbed my attention in the prologue and kept it till the end. I found Gavin's and Taylor's first meeting was very rough on both sides. Jaycee Clark gave me suspense which I look for. Gavin is driven, loyal and protective. Taylor is caring and smart. In my opinion Taylor and Gavin are perfect for each other. I love the Kinncaid family they have each others backs no matter what. When the family gets together it's something else. I was on the edge of my seat turning the pages. My biggest complaint is it very slow moving, sometimes I felt Jaycee Clark did a lot of repeating the same things.

Deadly Obsession Review: My attention was grabbed in the prologue and I was kept on the edge of my seat reading. There was a lot of suspense and tension. Christian was confusing for me I appreciated her reasons for her actions, but when things were spinning I didn't understand her being quiet. Christian was very frustrating for me. Brayden is definitely a Kinncaid, he's smart, a good father and very protective of his friends and family. My complaint with Deadly Obsession is it moves very slowly, some of the things are very drawn out.

Deadly Games Review: I liked Deadly Games it kept me turning the pages. Jaycee Clark gave me suspense which I look for. In my opinion there is a lot of inconsistences in the story. There were things that just didn't make sense but I was able to overlook them. I found Rori's story missing to much I wanted to know. I love the Kinncaid family and how they come through for each other. My biggest complaint is it is very slow moving.

Deadly Secrets Review: I liked Deadly Secrets with as crazy as the storyline was. Jaycee Clark gave me a lot of suspense which made up some of the nonsense. In my opinion there is a lot of repetition from the characters. Things just kept being repeated over and over. I enjoyed the family banter and how they had each others backs. I love the banter between the brothers. My biggest complaint is it is very slow moving.

Overall I was entertained but the whole series is very slow moving. In my opinion the boxed set is not worth the price.

Book 1 - Jesslyn and Aiden. Wow, what a story! Loved the whole story, how they got together and everything. The whole Murder plot had me on the edge of my seat, and at times my heart was pounding. 5 stars.

Book 2 - Taylor & Gavin - While I really enjoyed this story, it didn't get me as much as book 1 did. It was still a good story though, the ending was lovely too. I don't think they addressed Ryans visions though, I'd have liked to have known a little more. Also Ryans ex-husbands wife - what happened to her and the baby?

Book 3 - Brayden and Christian - This has bought the wow factor back. I really enjoyed this story. Loved how Ian Kinncaid is bought into every book so far without revealing too much why he's the black sheep.
Christian is stalked in this book, it's by someone she knows. She's scared to go to the police as her stalker threatens to kill the kinncaids. She knows it'll happen because it's happened before. The Kinncaids curse is also mentioned in this book too. Highly recommended.
*Be aware* As you get further into this book there is talk about rape - Christians 'stalker' (I wont say who he is in case you do want to read) has raped her in the past and attempts it again - it might not be for everyone this book.

Book 4 - Ian and Rori. This book was really confusing for me - I didn't even know who Dimitri Petrolov was until a few chapters in. We know Ian is "the black sheep" of the family and this book is all about him.
He's an undercover officer, he is known as 'the reaper'. This book goes into his life after he was disowned by his father. There is a lady hired to kill him - she later marries him. You need to read the story to fully understand it all. I can't say much else without spoiling the entire story, but keep your eye on Eliyana - she's not a nice lady at all.

Book 5 - Quinlan and Ella. Quinlan swore he'd never get married, and he was a total workaholic. After the events of the last book it takes you into his life post shooting. Life has changed for him - dramatically. His brothers take him away to let his hair down and he meets Ella. Ella with blue hair. Another story I loved. She is put through a great ordeal, and she needs Quin. Quin has no idea where she is when she rings him to tell him she's scared they're going to take her baby, he's too late and the baby has been taken. The story is all about their turmoil and they discover each other properly this time.

I'd highly recommend this box set 5 stars from me.

[I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.] A thrill a minute with Jaycee Clark's Deadly series..Beyond the Page Publishing just released the box set of author Jaycee Clark's Deadly Series. Fortunately for all of us who hadn't yet met her heroes, the five brothers Kinncaid, we can now read their exploits in this complete collection. And let me tell you these are HOT alpha heroes!

Clark definitely knows how to meld several genres together - romance, suspense, and mystery - in order to create a spectacular read. Each of the books - Deadly Shadows, Deadly Ties, Deadly Obseesion, Deadly Games, and Deadly Secrets - could be read as a stand-alone novel, but who would want to with this brilliant option available.

While I did take time out to sleep, eat, and do some chores, I pretty much read these straight through in a 24 hour period. Clark has a wonderful gift of conveying her characters' humanity, whether it's Jock's fondness for nicknames, Ian's unfulfilled desire for a smoke once his wife intervenes, or Jess's coffee obession, the reader (me) felt that these characters had become friends by the end of the series. I will admit I found Deadly Secrets a harder read than the others, frankly because of the topic, but Clark's prose soon drew me into the story and although it still isn't my favorite, it's a solid volume.

Look out for Deadly Beginings, the book that will provide the story of Jock and Kaitie's love affair in the '60s, that led to marriage and their family of five heroic sons. I'm hoping to hear more about the Irish grandmother's curse that seems to have haunted the brothers Kinncaid and their wives during their respective courtships (most with bullets flying). But without the troubles they encountered, we wouldn't have this excellent series.

The Deadly Series Boxed Set. Jaycee Clark.
Well, there's been a number of boxed sets released recently, usually different authors which is great for trying new ones, but this is the entire series from Jaycee about her wonderful Kinncaid family, Each book is a stand alone, but the men feature in multiple books so its like reading about friends. It is romance, but romance with a gripping, adventurous, suspense side factored in. Its not a sickly, sweet man+meets+woman=they live happy ever after. They do get their happy ending, but via a twisting, torturous, enthralling route which takes them through danger, heartbreak and misunderstandings.
The books are best read in order to follow how they develop, that way its easier to work out who is who and how they fit together. The titles are Deadly Shadows, Deadly Ties, Deadly Obsession, Deadly Games, and Deadly Secrets, and as you can see the danger element via the use of deadly in the title gives a strong hint as to the sort of action contained in them. If you're a lover of suspense novels don't sit and read for 20 mins, thinking you can then put the book down and get on with something else – you can't, you'll be gripped by the story. For me suspense is a secondary factor to the enjoyment, I enjoyed these very much but I needed to read other different genre novels between them, I can't take back to back suspense in the same way as I can back to back paranormal for instance. Its just how I am, fortunately everyone likes different things so we get a range of novels. If suspense and thrillers are your main reading (as they were mine a few years back ) then you'll probably enjoy a whole series to read on one fell swoop. Its going to take a while though, as they are full sized novels. I don't have length info but six full sized books for £6.37 has to be terrific value.

Thank you Net Galley and the publisher for this ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

WOW!! I have to say I have not read a book by this author before, so I did not know what to expect! I LOVED this series!! These Kinncaid men were HOT and protective of their women. "I will defend".. LOVED it!

Book 1! Had me guessing the entire time. Thrilling and romantic!!

Book 2! Wow! These books have me on the edge of me seat. So good, I could not put it down. I loved Gavin!!

Book 3! Brayden and Christian's story was intense!! Christian being "an adoptive" Kinncaid, they thought they all knew about her, but there was so much to her life they did not know! But, of course it didn't matter, they LOVE their family!

Book 4: Ian and Rori. I rather liked this story! I loved sweet little Darya and felt that with both Ian and Rori's darkness, Darya made them seem "normal". Another great book

Book 5: Quin and Ella- this story was very intense. A man a women marry in Vegas after a weekend of knowing each other, only to not really speak much after the fact. Ella scared of her feelings leaves town and takes a job in New Mexico. There she is seeked out by a retreat for women who are pregnant and want to get a way. Little did she know, these people were taking babies and selling them on the black market. WOW!!! Emotions were all over the place in this book.

I would read more from this author again and thought the writing was very well done!

Can you say AWESOME……
I started reading the 1st books in this series (they can be read in order or as stand alones) 5:54pm Friday and by 7:29am Monday morning I had finished the 5th book. Yes I barely left the house all weekend and I was late for work Monday!
This romantic suspense series has fantastic characters, the author has made them come alive. As you read these books you immerse yourself into the characters’ lives, you become vested in them overcoming obstacles, defeating the bad guys and living happily ever after. The author has created a nice balanced between the suspense and the romance in these books. Throughout each book you’re on the edge of your seat waiting for the dark menace in the background to kill and destroy; yet the development of relationships is at the forefront of these books, as well as the traumatic events which lead up to this point in the their lives.
To sum up: Hot rich alpha males, strong wounded heroines, hot sex scenes, great characters, terrific storylines and very suspenseful.

I was lucky enough to come upon this 5 book set and found each book to be well plotted and peopled with the kind of rich characters I look for in my Romantic Suspense novels. Jaycee Clark has written a set of character driven stories, that are both action packed and passionate. Mystery with a touch of paranormal. The Kinncaid Brothers are a wonderfully diverse multi faceted family unit, they rally round when needed, and each book could stand on its own, but treat yourself to this set, you won't regret it. The pacing of the books starts slow and builds, the secondary characters are well drawn, the settings beautiful and detailed, the dialogue appropriate to the characters and the situations, and the characters remain consistent throughout the books. I do suggest reading the titles in order, because the brothers make multiple appearances and some things do recur in future stories.

I truly enjoyed this series of books. Family, drama, and dark chilling suspense.

Deadly Shadows (Deadly #1)-- Aiden and Jesslyn story set the stage for the rest of the books. 4 stars
Deadly Ties (Deadly #2) --Dr. Gavin Kinncaid and Taylor's story; this is a wonderfully told story. 5 stars
Deadly Obsession (Deadly #3) --Brayden and Christian's story. Another wonderfully chilling book. 4 stars
Deadly Games (Deadly #4) -- Ian and Rori's story. This one was great, dark and lovely. You understand the demons that chase the hero and heroine in this book. 5 stars
Deadly Secrets (Deadly #5) -- Quinlan and Ella's story. This is the story of the youngest of the brothers and it was such a sweet and lovely twist and turns. What a perfect was way to end the series

An enthralling series of novels all in one place – this fantastic box set keeps you, the reader, on the edge of your seat while you immerse yourself into the lives of characters you come to care about. Well written entertainment that makes the reader wish to meet those involved in the novels.

Deadly Shadows introduces the Kinncaid family, who form a loving core to all of the books. Five brothers with diverse lives and personalities are explored in each of the books, each book interacting and connected to the next. With romance and charm twisted through with suspense and darkness each of the books has the power to draw the reader into caring for the characters and the outcome of each novel.

Scarily dark and gripping in places the storyline flows through each occurrence and incident to leave the reader looking for more by this author.

Wow! This set had me on the edge of my seat. I should say that this is a full set of full sized books, so a quick read it is not. I think I knocked the whole thing out in 2 days though because I couldn't put it down. Each story was thrilling, had characters I really liked and was definitely not too sugary. There were some definitely hard scenes to read and process in each of the books. Through it all was a constant appreciation of family and strong men and women. I did not feel like the stories became too scripted, which is nice in a series. I was totally sucked into this family and each of the brother's lives. There was a good mix of independence and continuity with each book. I would highly recommend this author, this series, and each of the books!

This I Will Defend! This is the family motto of the Kinncaid brothers, and trust me when I say I would want them to defend me. This box set rocks the house. Each one of these books offers the reader a unique story around one of the brother's. They are all alpha males who are real and care about their loved ones immensely. The brothers are all very different in personality along with the women they love. There is mystery, romance, and edge of your seat suspense. I could not put this set down. As soon as I finished one book I wanted to find out what the next brother was like. Jaycee Clark did a brilliant job in creating a believable family who loves one another no matter what happens. My favorite brother was Ian, don't get me wrong, all of the books are awesome but I loved Ian the most. You seriously have to read this set, its a must read. I give it 5 stars.

This author is great. I love how you get drawn into the books. I would have given 5 stars to all but the last book in this series. I did not like how the story jumped around for the first half of that book. It started in the middle of the situation and jumped to the beginning then middle then beginning and every time I settled into the story it would jump to a different point in the story line and throw me out of the entire flow. Honestly I felt like throwing it across the room several times. It felt like I was trying to read more than one book at a time. It finally caught up to itself around chapter 20 by that time I was forcing myself to continue reading. While some people may like that style I don't appreciate it at all and I really hope she doesn't use it again. The first four books were really great and the last book could have been as well.

From the very beginning I was in love with this series, it held me riveted in spot unable to move for fear of missing something important. When I read a really good book it's like I'm watching a movie, I can see the characters, the places and everything that befalls them if it's written well. This series was fabulous, it was like I was at a marathon movie premiere. I couldn't get enough, each book had it's own villain and the hero was always dangerously sexy. There were a couple of times in one of the books that I just got so mad that I didn't want to finish that book , but I forced myself to and in the end it worked out. It is because of that book that I give this series a four star review, I feel that the author did an incredible job and i cannot wait to read more by her.

Wow- what a series! I am not sure why I have never heard of this author or series before, but I am so glad I did. The first book with Aiden starts off strong and pulls you into the Kinncaid family. He meets Jesslyn and fights hard to keep her by his side. The second book with the doctor, Gavin. He meets and is sucked into Taylors life and situation. The third book with Brayden and Christian is intense. The fourth book with Ian and Rori has excitement and action pouring out. The fifth book with Quinlan takes you on the journey to meet Ella. Throughout all the books the Kinncaid family is there for one another and defending what is theirs. Awesome series!

Jaycee Clark is AMAZING!!! I totally loved this series. The Kinncaids motto "This I Will Defend" is something they definitely do. Although something bad happens to each brother, and there are 5, they always come out on top. Each story pretty much follows the previous book but they are still good. I would suggest to read a book in between each of these as I did get tired of the same plot. But I have to say, these are books that keep you wondering what will happen and whose it going to happen to. Cannot wait to read her next book "HUNTED"

I am so glad I got the boxed set since I just couldn't put it down! Each novel focuses on a different Kinncaid brother, and I really enjoyed each one. Aiden and Jesslyn from book 1 may have been my favorite, but it really is so hard to choose! You got to revist the the characters in the next books, and I loved catching up with everyone. My only complaint was that since book 5 mostly took place outside of DC, we didn't get to see Ian's daughter Darya again after book 4. Overall an excellent series!

Loved the books, especially Ian story. Let just say, read them and you know. A great plot on each one, and even better characters. Although they are brothers, each has a characters of it own with one thing in common; With this I'll defend. 5 stars review overall with a 4 stars on some of the book (just for the plot development not he characters). The villians also give rise to the story as a whole. Recommended, hats of to the author..

The five Kinncaid brothers make great characters for a remarkable set of books Each of these books feature a coupe who have great chemistry together. There is a nice balance of romance and suspense in each book, and the story lines were all interesting. I liked the way each book unfolded and added to the satisfying series.
