But our familiarity with the letter can cause us to neglect or overlook Paul's message to the Philippians. Finished preaching through Philippians. This was my favorite commentary.

Probably the most helpful commentary as I preached through Philippians. Not afraid to get into the more technical weeds, but never loses sight of the pastoral and practical. I wasn't the biggest fan of the compact design. But that's a minor complaint for such an excellent resource.

While I didn’t read every word of this excellent commentary, I turned to it often in sermon prep in my recent series through Philippians. Its easily my favorite exegetical commentary on the letter. Thorough, detailed, theological.

This was my constant go to commentary throughout Philippians. Great exegetical depth, but with consistent thoughtful application. This is what I would love in every pastoral commentary.

This is one of the best commentaries I've come across on Philippians. Harmon incorporates both solid exegetical tools with pastoral and preaching helps and application. I and our people have benefited greatly.
