Predictable, and really glosses over some important events in how Han and Chewie were reunited with the Millennium Falcon and met Rey and Finn. I would almost go as far as to say this book is shameless promotion for the Force Awakens movie! The artwork is pretty cool though.

My son enjoyed reading this story and the pictures are real from the movies, not animated. He was able to read most words and it was a quick read.

Great kids’ reader version of the Han and Chewie arc between their first appearance in The Force Awakens and when they escape from the pirates/begrudgingly decide to help Finn/Rey. Great hyperreal photo overlay artwork. Jack (17 months) really enjoyed this at bedtime, and occasionally sought it out.

2nd time. Perhaps the most successful library book I've ever borrowed for Jack. Feb-March 2017 was I think his second run at it. By the time we were done with it this time he could list all the character names. Particularly good at Rey, Finn and especially BB-8. We'll be taking this out from the library again.

3rd time. We have a small paperback version now. Able to read all the text in detail.

I would give this book to a reluctant reader because it’s a simple story but also it from the Force Awakens one of the Star Wars movies so the chance are they would have already know the story so that would help them. Also this is god for a reluctant reader on the part that it’s Star War and everyone love it and it’s a great way to build reading into something the student already likes.

Just a simple kids book with no weight to it. Well at least I didn't pay for it as I read it in the store.
