g3-5 for reading alone
Oh my goodness, all of these great animal stories collected in one book. The photos are throughout. More of a read-alone instead of read-aloud because of the size, but you could do both. I love the story about the lion, tiger and bear (oh my!).

This book is for children, so the sentence structure is very simplistic. The stories and pictures were very cute though. My favorite was the cat that rides horseback -- Morris the cat and Champy the horse.

How comforting what animals can teach us about prejudices, differences and love. This is a collection of unlikely friends including a dog named Milo and a huge lion named Bonecrusher! Also one of my favorites are BLT the lovely friendship between a lion tiger and bear! Senstive and profound wins the arguement of yes animals have souls!!!!!!!!!
