Completely Human, Actually

Rate this book
Alexander Sullivan, an admittedly barely-good-enough hacker for the Bradenton P.D., knows it's not exactly normal to have an A.I. popping into his head every night for friendly chats. He also knows it's pretty strange that the A.I., Eleutherius, is his best friend. Why should he be surprised when his entire life gets overturned by him?
Eleutherius suddenly announces that Alex is in danger, admitting he knew more about the hacker than he'd let on. Alex isn't human—he's an Experiment created by Mavennox United, a subsidiary of the U.S. government, and the corporation's coming to shut him down! Terrified, Sullivan finds himself breaking into an off-the-grid facility to free Eleutherius' vessel, allowing the A.I. to move freely in the physical world.
All Eleutherius wants to do is help Alex and the other 14 Experiments get to safety and return to their normal lives. Or, at least, that's what he claims.
