I have to start off by saying that we haven't read a lot of books in this gene but so far out of the authors I have read Ms Wells is one of my favorites. This author creates amazing characters that you just can't help but fall in love with.

Blake and Will definitely a favorite couple in this series.I loved both of them.Blake and Will at first seem to be a odd couple at first glance. What does a owner of a publishing company have in common with an escort other than chemistry and great sex?Blake is just what he seems confident man in work and business who is well liked and even loved by his team members at work.Yet that being said he has always kept his personal life and secret from his family and friends and about him being gay. Will on the other hand is out of the closet as they say and has had a very hard life up to this point.Non accepting parents through him out when he was a teen and he was forced to be what they call a rent boy just to survive. One of the things I loved about Will is he never tried to hide his past or the things he was forced to do but owned up to it all and just turned the negative in to the positive that just made him a stronger individual.

Will and Blake's night together is a one off when they meet .Its just and evening of Blake paying for a evening of sexual pleasure and Will is actually Alex at this point but turns up the next day as Will office applying for a job as a personal assistant .Can you say awkward?

A rocky start in this couples relationship turned into so much more.Wow! the chemistry this couple had was super hot. They had several heated sexual encounters as well as a little bdsm thrown into the mix. Making their love making moments super hot and fun and playful and Alex makes an appearance every now and then just to spice things up a bit. This is the one time that ones past makes for a more of and interesting sex life for this couple as Will aka Alex has done it all.Grins...Just a really cute couple that balanced out one another.

Found Blake to be confident kind,passionate,love-able,sexy and on hand we saw sadness, loneliness and unhappiness at constantly hiding who and what he truly is that makes him happy.

Will on the other hand I loved him right off strong and confident emotional and very sensitive who had an amazing personality. He seemed to be at ease in his own skin and take the bull by the horn type and takes what he wants when he wants it.Will is that type who is definitely the dominate in his relationship with Blake.

An amazing love story that had many ups and downs along with many surprises thrown in the mix.I loved both Will and Blake they were a really cute couple that we saw blossom throughout the pages just by being together. This couple brought happiness into each other lives at a point when both this couple need change at this point in their lives. An emotional tale that tugged at your heart strings who had you from the onset rooting for a happily ever after for an amazing couple who truly belongs together.

Loved it!

Rick and Angelo's Tale

This story had a lot of emotional ups and down for the characters as well as it reader. My heart broke for this couple at the heart ache and the decisions Angelo's parents were forcing him to make .Either Colin or them.

Rick works for Blake at Trinity publishing and loves his job and friends but, his love life is seriously lacking.

Omg !The hottest and intense memorable moment in the story took place when Ben and Ollie a couple in love and who are partners love to play.Their game tonight is Rick!Rick will forever remember his night with Ollie and Ben forever as it brought the hottest sexual gratification he has ever received in his long list of lovers. Omg! fanning yourself ladies and gents..

Grins

Rick at this point in his life is tired of the one night stands and is looking for something more meaningful and serious.Rick was definitely a guy unlucky at love and also had an awful taste in men until he meets Angelo from a situation that almost lead him to becoming a rape victim.

I liked Angelo he was outgoing kind gentle supportive and artist who was an all around great guy who seemed to be happy with his life. His attraction is Rick is overwhelming and someone who he can't seem to forget. From the onset of seeing Rick from across the room he became protective of him and vowed to watch over him even before meeting him.Did Angelo know right then in there that Rick was his Soul mate? And if so why is he willing to give up the love of his life to remain part of a family who are non accepting of who and what he is?

An emotional tale of a couple who are meant to be together and who make one another happy and fulfilled yet choses you lead a life of unhappiness over love.My heart broke for this couple and the unhappiness and pain that brought Angelo to make the decisions he was forced to make even if they were the wrong ones because of his family.

Rick was my favorite character in this story.I truly felt his pain and suffering an unhappiness he was experiencing as nothing seemed ever to work out for his benefit. So unlucky in love and his doomed relationship brings him to the point where he would rather be alone then to ever experience the pain he is currently feeling over his breakup with Angelo.

Ricks saviors are Blake ,Will and Ed who are there for him not matter what and he could not but help but love them for it even more than he already did.He is truly blessed to have them as friends and he knows with their help he might survived the heartbreak he is currently experiencing .

A page turner that was filled with so much emotion, love ,friendship and sexual gratification and one overcoming life hurtles that were placed in ones path. The story had a great cast of characters with so many different personalities making it intriguing fun that brought you many laughs as well as many tears.

Ed and Colin's Tale

Loved this couple and their very intense love affair.

Ed has been with us from the start of this series and remains a constant favorite of mine.I loved him from the onset.Sexy,brash,love-able,funny ,protective of those he loves and type who speaks his mind and doesn't give a crap about what others think.Ed up until this point has been the loyal friend to all and a great guy to work with and for.He always seemed happy yet perhaps a bit lonely without even realizing it.Ed's love life has been lacking of late and seeing all of those around him finding love and happiness has him thinking about his own life.Does he want to find what his Boss and Co workers have found or is happy with how his life is at this moment? For Ed he has never had a problem with his friends and boss being gay as he has been with both men and women. It matters not he loves and cares for them as well as being protective over them and enjoys seeing them happy .How they chose to live their life is their business and not his place to judge them.

Ed and Colin have been best buds for over a year and yet one night with much drink under their belts changes things between them and their friendship.A night of a hot sexual gratification between them changes things and has Ed questioning his own sexual preferences. Was this encounter just about sexual release or is he truly attracted to Colin?

Colin on the other hand has had a thing for Ed for sometime but knows he is straight and has never made a move on him yet this encounter has him thinking could he have more than friendship with Ed?

Colin is comfortable in his own skin and has no problem letting people he knows he is gay.Ed on they other hand has to find his way to decide if he is straight,bi sexual or gay.

I loved this couple as Ed was so different from Colin he was had a hard edge to him yet friendly and kind but the kind of man who scared others to death.Colin was the sensitive and kind and funny type who was comfortable in his own skin and enjoyed life to the fullest. This couple had amazing chemistry super hot sexual encounters who were truly made for one another. Each of them different yet had much in common with each other yet the perfect mate for one another.

And emotional tale of a couple who struggle to find balance in their relationship when one who hasn't come to terms with his own sexuality and what other people think of him of being in a relationship with another man yet the other one could not care the least what people thought of them.We saw a lot of ups and downs for this couple but we also saw a couple who truly loved one another who just need to find a way to be a couple.

Of all the couples throughout the stories this couple had to deal with more hate and bigotry from others and those who were small minded.Perhaps being Rugby players had something to do with that.As with any relationship you have those who accept and hate you for who and what you are and who you chose to love.

I loved the story from cover to cover.I loved Ed from the beginning and I so wanted him to find his own happiness so I was thrilled to be along the ride with him as he found the love of his life.I loved how every time you though you had Ed figured out he did something that surprised you had you admitting you didn't know him as well as you think you did.

Another awesome tale that carried its characters from one book to the next that had you laughing one moment and crying the next.

A recommend series to all.We loved the entire series and its characters and will definitely be re-reading about them at a later date.Another series for the keeper shelf and looking so forward to this authors latest releases.

5 stars for us

My overall thoughts

One of the things that I love about this author writing and characters is that she makes you fall in love with her characters from the onset. When I read her stories I love seeing her couples fall in love and overcoming things in their relationships that all couples face.Yes her books happen to be about two same sexual males but she focuses on them as a couple and them finding their way with one another and not such much at just being a gay male.Yes they have more hurtles to overcome then most couples but is it any different from what and interracial couple has to go through...

A Foundation of Love!

Please note: this is a review for the book: Personal Challenges only.
Catching up with my favorite couples: Blake & Will deal with a dramatic family issue; Rick & Angelo have wedding planning blues; Ed supports Colin as he deals with an Ex from his past but above all else, they’re still in love. This story starts a bit slow but grows to pack an emotional punch. There was leakage from my eyes, I must say. Overall, this was a well-researched tale with intriguing storylines and likable, enjoyable MCs, a good read.

I do have some inquiries: the appearance of Tigger? Is there a romantic tale for Franco & Anthony?

All Good Reads

I really enjoyed this Box Set Series. The character descriptions were very good, I could picture everyone. The stories made you feel like you were part of the large family. I wish there were more books coming in the series. All good reads.

This is not my first time reading this author and it won’t be my last. I loved this whole series. These men...made me melt. The writing the people the setting. This is a box set and I can’t even tell you who my favorite is. They all cross over so we get to read them all in this box set. As the series progresses so do the people. Each book in this set overlaps a bit and can be read as a standalone except for the novellas. They are linked to the books. I do suggest that you read them in order so you get a better feel of the people. They are some great people. This book also spans roughly 8-10 years in the lives of these 3 couples and their family and friends

Book 1: Making it Personal

This is the Story of Blake and Will. I love these guys. Blake is in the closet and he hides who is he for fear of ruining the company name of Trinity Publishing, that his father owns. He also doesn't have the best relationship with his father. Now, I adored Will. He is a great guy and he is a dominant man. Oh by golly will he set you on fire. There are some bumps and bruises along the way that need to be overcome. Will is exactly what Blake needs. I love their beginning, how they meet and their story in general. Their meeting is not at all how I expected it.

Book 2: Personal Changes

This book is Rick and Angelo. Rick works for Blake at Trinity Publishing and doesn’t hide who he is. Though he does hide that he had been in love with his boss for quite some time. In comes Angelo and in the closet Italian whose family is very traditional. Rick is tired of living the one-night stand situation and feels like he is missing something, he is lonely After a rough night with a wake up he decided to make some changes. He wants what Blake and Will have. He wants love. So to the club, he goes and he meets someone. Angelo is looking on and makes it his mission to keep watch on Will and make sure he is safe. In walks Angelo and saves Rick from a very bad situation. I loved these two men too. I can’t pick just one.

Book 2.5: More Than Personal

This is Blake and Will again and it is Blake’s birthday. Will wants to make it special for him. Only they are in a for a rude or not so rude awakening. I love this quick and easy novella. We get to see about five years into their relationship together. I loved this one. I love reading about Blake and Will. I have loved them since book one. These two are wicked hot together. I love how they get each other and they are strong in their relationship. The know what the other is thinking and feeling. They just have that connection.

Book 3: Personal Secrets

This book is Ed and Colin. Ed works as the office manager at Trinity Publishing and is good friends with Blake. Oh, and he is straight or is he? We get to meet Colin for the first time at the end of book 2.5 as he plays Rugby with Ed. Colin drives him to the hospital and their story continues from there. Now I loved Ed and his person, in book one and oh by golly the way he talks. He grew on me and was glad to see he got his book. These two are nothing but all man. Rugged and rough and tumble, beards, and muscle that doesn’t end. Ed especially is what Colin calls a bear. These two are hot and sexy and made me smile non-stop.

Book 3.5: Strictly Personal

This book is Colin taking Ed on a trip for Valentine’s day. He wants to make it special for Ed. This book is quick and easy as well. You will laugh and be like this is so Ed. I liked how down to earth Ed is. He is a bit of a homebody and likes staying in.

In conclusion, this was fun to read. All the men in this series are strong and have great support. It didn’t take long to read as I couldn’t put it down. Join these three couples, read how they meet and fall in love.

Overall this is a great series and each story builds upon the happenings of the previous books so it really should be read in order. I listened to the audio version and it was very well done especially with so many characters that interact with each other.
Making It Personal - Will and Blake - This story was so dramatic at times. There was the unusually first meeting and the next day surprise. These men seem so well suited to each other but fear can do so much to a person. It was amazing that they survived to finally get it together.
Personal Changes Rick and Angelo - This story had some really dramatic moments in both thing involving Rick and Angelo separately and these individual events impact them as a couple. I love how supportive Blake and Will are as Rick navigates his issues. It is sad how family can make a life so hard.
More Than Personal - Will and Blake - I love this view of Blake and Will further along in their life together. There are some tender moments and a wonderful new beginning for them.
Personal Secrets Ed and Collin - Poor Ed is out of him comfort zone but luckily he has good friends that will step in with advise. I like how Collin is patient but not willing to settle for less than he wants. Two strong men who have to decide whether to risk it.
Strictly Personal - Poor Ed and Collin there is so much love and humor in a romantic weekend that is full of bumps along the way home.
Personal Challenges - This one is the most personal because everyone is involved in different areas in their lives that will take their strength and their relationship with the partner to get them through. I like how we got to see all the couple and that each faced their own unique challenge. There are some wonderful surprises along the way in this story.

Personal complete series

❤️❤️❤️❤️. Overall
🎧🎧🎧🎧 Narration
📚📚📚📚. Story
Read at 1.2 spread on Audible over 30 hours.

First book is Blake and Wills story, Blake was in the closet, running his father's business Trinity Publishing, but still under the watchful eye of his father. Blake uses an escort agency to keep his urges at bay and to make sure no one (his father) finds out he's gay. Then he meets Will. Blake is being blackmailed when someone finds out about Will, will Blake jepodise everything for a fling.

A new couple. Rick works for Blake at Trinity Publishing. Rick was known for sleeping around but suddenly he realises that he wants more. He meets someone and things aren't quite what they seem and he ends up hurt, then he meets Angelo, will he be his happy ever after. Lots of angst, attempted rape and a gay bashing.

We meet Will and Blake again, its Wills birthday, plus a new member to the family that we haven't met before, great excitement.

The next story is of office manager Ed. and Colin his rugby playing friend, but Colin has fancied Ed for a while. Will Ed, who's straight, see Colin as anything but a friend. We also keep updated with the comings and goings of Will and Blake.

We then follow the three couples over the years and their families, jobs, deaths, weddings and children. Thier lives are all linked and well written, you feel like you personally know these people. A well written series and a joy to read/listen to.

Great having these all in one collection

I've read each of these KC Wells stories in their individual books but it's great to have them bundled together in consecutive order.

It does mean a bit of time jumping occasionally as the epilogue of some are set in the future of the others but it's not enough to distract from the main storylines.

I love all the pairings but my favourites are Ed and Colin, with their tumbling into love through their love of rugby (union I'm guessing ;) ), their friendship and a drunken encounter which wakes feelings Ed's not had for years.

The friendships in these books are also strong and I love how they're all one big extended family with lots of their own families being on their side too. Angelo's sister Maria is a fave of the secondary characters for me.

Sex is, as you'd expect from this author, hot, dirty, erotic, sensual, emotional, and loving.

audio review

This is a beautifully written amazing series with all 6 books together. 3 couples, Blake and Will, Rick and Angelo, and Colin and Ed, all find love and their happy endings through the struggles and emotions of life. I love following them on their journeys and I love how the characters move around the stories. I love how the men are there for each other no matter what, like a family. It maybe long but it's so worth the listen. I love this series and definitely recommend it.
Narrator Cornell Collins does an amazing job throughout the entire series. He really brought the characters to life.

Absolutely loved reading this box set! I must say I did cry in the last book "Personal Challenges" when Colin lost Ray it absolutely broke my heart, it hit home quite a bit as I lost my mum just over 16 months ago. These books also highlight different aspects of life and what could happen. It's fantastic to see an author who isn't trying to shy away from difficult situations and what happens when you have soooo much support from friends and family!! Although I do prefer books written in FPPOV (first person point of view) this is so well written I'll definitely be diving back in again at some point to do a re-read!!

The narration was great, Cornell Collins is fantastic, and his accent work is amazing.
The stories were very steamy, kinky and a bit cliche', but it's a good collection and a great deal for 30 hours!
I really liked the first story, the story of Blake and Will. I liked the connection between them and how Blake wanted to give more exposure to LGBTQ+ romance books in his publishing company. They also have a short a few books after that I was really excited to read.
This collection is great of you like sexy steamy books.

These characters draw you in from the get go, they touch your heart and give you their all. Their tears, their joy, their passion, their all.
Each one with their own challenges and Obstacles they must over come.
This is a well written series and KC gives us insights of some of the health issues we as a society face on a daily basis.

Thank you KC Wells, I look forward to reading what is next on your agenda.

Compelling

I don’t usually care for books lumped together. Personally to me they feel more like novellas that are thrown together. This one was a take a risk read and I am so excited that I did.

I love that this book talks about all the trials and tribulations that happen to LBGTQ+ community. It also has some very HEA lovingly ending.

I hope others read this and enjoy it as much as I did.

Bella serie.

Just wonderful!

Absolutely beautiful collection of books incorporating three couples - their beginnings, their ups & downs and the friendships between them. We also see beyond the "happy ever after" moment, following them through roughly a decade of living. The reader feels part of their journey and even part of their 'family'. Just lovely.

GREAT STORIES...
The narrator is even good...
EXCEPT when it comes to the sex scenes...
Just horrible.
Just ruins everything...
I LOVE K.C. Wells-EVERYTHING written!
This needed a different narrator.
Amazing stories though...

Loved it!

K.C.Wells can make me believe in her cha completely. Loved Ed. The last book in the set had me crying so much. I can't recommend books by this author enough, I have now read four series and loved all of them. Thank you K.C.Wells.

DNF, stopped at 35% which means at book three i guess? It was ok at the beginning but after a while i felt everything was so unrealistic and sappy and sometimes i really cringed how the characters acted. So i decided not to finish, as i really did not enjoy it anymore.

Sadness and Joy & Happiness

An absorbing tale of love for several couples, with also with some sadness and worry as well. But it all was lovely at the end, I was in tears of happiness at the end, which makes it a bit difficult to see, but I got there. Wow, it was lovely, absorbing, I couldn't put the book down. I read the whole 6 books in 2 days.

I love a series and I loved this one

All the characters were so believable. Each book brought out all what you needed. And all the hard times and the hard fight to keep your partner. Defiantly a reread here

Personal complete series ❤️❤️❤️❤️. Overall 🎧🎧🎧🎧 Narration 📚📚📚📚.
Story Read at 1.2 spread on Audible over 30 hours.

First book is Blake and Wills story, Blake was in the closet, running his father's business Trinity Publishing, but still under the watchful eye of his father. Blake uses an escort agency to keep his urges at bay and to make sure no one (his father) finds out he's gay.
Then he meets Will. Blake is being blackmailed when someone finds out about Will, will Blake jeopardise everything for a fling.
Their lives are all linked and well written, you feel like you personally know these people. A well written series and a joy to read/listen to

I absolutely loved each and every story in this set. Loved K.C's writing style and how she tackled subjects such as homophobia, coming out to family and the effects/repercussions, hiding your true identity and denying yourself what you've always known. I've got to admit my favourite coupling, as much as i loved Blake & Will, Rick & Angelo had to be Ed and col. They were the least likely to be gay considering how they know each other but i'm so glad that K.C showed that even the most rugged of men can be gay. I really do hope that Rick and Angelo get another book though as i feel they've still got more of a story to tell.
Fantastic must read series !!
