Jake's been having an affair with his boss for almost two years, but lately things haven't been going so well and he's thinking of moving on. Then he takes a job on the side, teaching surfing to a woman who rubs him completely the wrong way... until she doesn't. After years of failed connections, Marilee decides to try online dating. And right away she meets someone! Only two they have nothing in common, and he lives on the other side of the planet. Could it be that the perfect match she's been seeking is much closer at hand? With free-wheeling good humor and lots (LOTS) of explosive lovin', Caught Inside is a lighthearted sexual inferno and the second book of the Emerald Coast Chronicles series.
This was a sweet, sensual read. I particularly enjoyed the surfing aspect since it's something I virtually knew nothing about before reading this book. I also liked that Marilee played cello, one of my favorite instruments to listen to.
My only critique's that there was a little funkiness in the book's formatting. Maybe it had something to do with the fact that I was reading the book on my Windows phone.
But overall, the relationship between Marilee and Jake was really enjoyable to watch unfold. Their love bloomed sweetly and grew deliciously sensual over time. A nice "beach read." :)
