A lot of great info about fat burning and the process by which we eat creates a fat burning environment. Followed by a full color photo book of refreshingly new recipes which are not too complicated and use ingredients I'm likely to have. That's different than most cookbooks especially "diet" cookbooks which usually assume you have an assortment of fresh and often rare items on hand. It's a good book and I hope it helps my husband and I.

Keeping in mind that this cookbook was written by a Canadian health nut life coach it was very informative. I know that most people would not think that you can actually "read" a cook book, but this book begins with over 80 pages of information. He explains on how the book is organized, and what substitutions to make if you are vegan or paleo. He quotes some literature to back up his theories. There are many helpful lists and charts of good, better, and best options for sweeteners, fat sources, oils and other various categories. This book is a squeal to his original diet book, but includes enough information that it could operate as a stand alone. While this is not your average cookbook, it has plenty of quality recipes for all meals including desert.
