Believe, Ask, Act: Divine Steps to Raise Your Intuition, Create Change, and Discover Happiness

Rate this book
MaryAnn DiMarco has been communicating with the Other Side since she was 5 years old. As a psychic medium, intuitive counselor, and spiritual teacher, clients from all over the world have sought her out for both personal guidance and as a means to connect with their departed loved ones’ souls. Even so, DiMarco’s greatest gift is her ability to teach others how to connect to the universe themselves—and in a way that sets meaningful change in motion. Now, in her extraordinary first book, DiMarco shares her teachings for developing intuition that will enable you to control your life using three powerful steps:

Believe is about recognizing and demonstrating a belief in a higher power, whether you refer to this powerful energy as God, Divine, Source, or another name.

Ask teaches you how to pose the right questions to a personal team of angels, spirit guides, departed loved ones, and evolved souls who help you navigate life’s ups and downs. Their job is to love, lead, and protect you as you dream, plan, and move along your soul’s best path.

Act is a powerful call to get off the meditation cushion and put one earthly foot in front of the other to create momentum and positive change.

When you connect to your Universal Team’s wisdom and guidance using Believe, Ask, Act, you will raise your intuition and learn how to identify and remove the spiritual, emotional, and real-world obstacles that hold you back.

It’s time to awaken. Pay attention. Understand your role on this plane and what the world has to offer. You’ve already signaled to the universe that you’re ready to trust, listen, and work to realize your greatest potential.

I'm giving this a DNF but I may come back to it in book form. The audio book just isn't working for me... I can't focus on the message and do other things! Plus, I'm not really liking the voice of the woman who is reading the book; it's clear enough (and professional) but I feel a disconnect between the voice and the material.

I heard MaryAnn DiMarco in a podcast and I'd rather hear her read it aloud. She is more relatable than the hired voice talent.

Almost gave it 4 stars but decided to be generous with a 5. I've had this book on my to-read list for years. I guess now is the time I was meant to read it.
The middle section is a little repetitive and semi-boring. But also helpful.
I loved part 1. Felt inspiring, and I could relate. I have lots of work to do, and this book is in-line with where I am right now.
Definitely not for everyone. It can be a little much if you're not open and ready for it.

This is one special person. MaryAnn is real, down to earth and connected! I can only say to read the book. I don’t want to give anything away but it won’t disappoint.

Full disclosure, I skipped about 50 pages because it seemed a bit redundant. So there's that. Don't judge me.

MaryAnn DiMarco has conversed with spirits since she was a wee girl. Her tips for building communication with spirit guides are good, but a bit overwhelming. I'll try a few and see if any spiritual beings show up. I'll let you know.

You can expect meditation, impressions, feelings, intuition, blockages and your grumpy grandma.

I really liked this book and the lessons it offered. It was a good reminder that we all have a spiritual team just waiting to help us out when asked. The exercises the author had to go along with each chapter in the book were helpful in increasing intuition and to get clarity and guidance on each topic. I have recommended this book to many of my friends as a must-read.

Pretty cheesy and self help-y, but full of positive wisdom. I would definitely recommend it!

Hoopla audio book. I thought this was a joy to listen to but plan to find it in print and spend more time putting some of this into practice 👍

I have to admit this is not an area I know a lot about, but I won this book in a giveaway and said I would give it a chance. It's very well written and MaryAnn DiMarco is very passionate about her ability to her ability to teach others how to connect to the universe themselves. I'm not sure about psychics and their abilities, but this is a great book for those who love it. It's very positive.
