Another short and sweet peak into the romance between James and Miranda...it's also fun catching up with the twins and their lively and energetic antics. Can't wait to see what happens w/Daniel and Zoya!

This novella is a sequel to A Journey's End, also a novella, where we meet widower James and single mother to seven-year-old twins Miranda. I wanted to find out what was happening with "the passionate and committed couple" and what would go down when "her ex-husband unexpectedly arrives".

Only that blurb was misleading.

I was looking forward to the ex-husband, Griffin, causing conflict between the couple. But it didn't turn out as expected, especially since there was tension when James and Griffin met for the first time. In the end, it turned out to be quite the dud. How disappointing.

Miranda's sons were also a focus in this book, and that bored me. I would be able to tolerate it if the book had been a full-length novel, but in a short book, I felt too many pages were dedicated to discussing the sons, especially as one of them was a brat.

I think I read this book out of sequence!

When I got to the end of this second story about James and Miranda and saw the excerpt from Unforgettable I realized I should have read this book first. Either way I am glad I have read both stories and basked in the love of this divorced mother of twins and this widower that she had to push into expressing his love for her. Now we learned just how James effected his proposal of marriage to Miranda and it was touching! I have enjoyed these Journeys End novels very much and look forward to reading Isaiah and Alyssa's story. Great job Ms Christopher, great job.

Miranda and James 🌋

I purposely read this book of the series out of order, just because I like the characters. This book fits nicely between the last chapter of "A Journey's End" and epilogue. Reading this first I have to read the four additional books in the series. This author has entertained and caused me to become a fan of her writing.

Another great story

Excellent love story. Enjoyed reading it from beginning to the end. It was nice knowing Miranda and James will get their happy ending. I hope there will be another book about this couple's married life.

Miranda and James are great example for love the second time around.

Miranda is a strong black women who continue on in spite of what is tossed her way.Oh and James is a great example of how there are good men in the world.

A great follow up to the first book.

A great follow up to "A Journey's End when James and Miranda relationship began. The characters were believable and got their HEA. Really enjoyed the twins Noah and Jonah.

Let’s Stay Together isn’t just the name of the famous Al Green song, it’s also the name of the latest novella by Ann Christopher.

This novella takes us back to upstate New York as we visit Miranda and James once again. We first met this couple in A Journey’s End and while we’ve met two Harper brothers since then in their separate books, this book takes place before that.

We pick up six weeks from A Journey’s End and Miranda and James are still in the honeymoon phase. As with any new relationship, especially ones that involve ex-husbands and two little children, there will be a few tests; early and often.

James is ready to go full steam ahead with the relationship. If he had it his way, they’d move in together immediately and get married. Miranda, while she ultimately wants the same things, is afraid and a little skittish; especially given how her marriage with her twins’ father ended. Miranda’s ex-husband, Griffin, re-enters the picture with obvious feelings still for Miranda. Will he come between them or will James and Miranda be able to navigate the newness of their relationship and stay together while learning how to create and sustain a blended family?

Let’s Stay Together is a super quick read that fans of the Harper brothers will like. While I wished we could have gotten one full-length novel featuring James and Miranda, it was nice to read about them again and I eagerly await the next installment featuring the family from upstate New York.

Is anyone else fans of Ann Christopher’s Journey’s End saga? If so, what do you think of it?

What a wonderful idea to give us sneak peeks into James and Miranda's love story as the series progresses! I did wonder about the ex-husband's reaction. and the twins adjustment to their new living situation, so I'm enjoying getting a first-hand look at what happened. Since this is a novella, I'm glad that, while neither situation was glossed over, they weren't drawn out, either. BTW, those twins are thee cutest! This novella has sweet moments, drama (in the form of the ex), and a couple of grown and sexy (read: hot!) moments between James and Miranda. Of course, since this is a novella, I hated to see it come to an end (which is always the case with a good story).

We get to see Zoya in this one, which set us up nicely for her and Daniel's story, which hopefully is coming out soon. I'm dying to know what happened with those two!

I really enjoyed this visit to Journey's End. Thanks for another good story, Ms. Christopher!

Let's stay together

Ann Christopher has continues to make me laugh out loud, with James and Miranda, The Double Trouble but cute as can be Twins-Noah and Jonah and family Dog, Franklin. This story is an example of dating people with kids, crazy exes, and internal insecurities that can make or break a relationship. It's also about love...The most important gift one can give.

James and Miranda have a lot going on and to conquer. Going on the journey to see if they ride or die is worth the read.
I loved it. You Will too. A recommend read.

I Do Love My HEAs

A great read. I loved the realism and humor of the twin boys, and the real emotions of James and Miranda. It was great that even though this was book #4, there were no spoilers since I chose to read it immediately after #1. I couldn't stand the suspense of waiting to see what happened with James and Miranda, and how GFL was going to handle it. Ms. Christopher does an amazing job.

Oh what a time

James and Miranda are trying to figure out their next moves. Miranda is trying to gage the situation. James has already decided that there is no one for him but her. James knows that he needs to stake his claim on her forever but there is an obstacle..Griffin her ex. Their encounter is something however there may be an additional situation James had not counted on. Watch how this plays out in these pages . Great read..great characters..

The Proposal

You get five star along just because of the proposal. So unconventional, but memorable. It reminded me of my own unconventional proposal. I'm glad Griffin came so this senses. Of course, like must people who've lost a good thing, he wanted his good thing back now that someone else has her.

Short and Sweet

Let's stay together had readers revisit with the couple who started it all in A Journey's End. I like that we get to visit with the original couple and get to hear from the twins again. My only complaint is the story ended so quickly. The story was just picking up and then it was over.

Love it!

I love that this story shows that life and love is not perfect. That no matter how much you love someone there will be obstacles. James and Miranda realized that with love they could handle anything together. Great read!
