Only that blurb was misleading.
I was looking forward to the ex-husband, Griffin, causing conflict between the couple. But it didn't turn out as expected, especially since there was tension when James and Griffin met for the first time. In the end, it turned out to be quite the dud. How disappointing.
Miranda's sons were also a focus in this book, and that bored me. I would be able to tolerate it if the book had been a full-length novel, but in a short book, I felt too many pages were dedicated to discussing the sons, especially as one of them was a brat.
