Notes for Bible 101: Bible subject notes

Rate this book
The bible is a historical record of God’s interactions with man for four thousand years. It proves His existence by fulfillment of prophecies, miracles and demonstrates his love. It was written by 40 inspired authors over a period of 1600 years. The authors wrote down Gods’ history so future generations would know about God’s actions. They prove his love for man and his desire to have him in his kingdom. He sent his son to implement a way that all men could join him. Jesus told us the greatest commandment “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with your entire mind and with all your entire strength. The second is ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’”. He wants us to live our life as if we are already in God’s kingdom. The Bible gives God’s Holy directions to prepare us for his kingdom. I recommend that everyone read the Bible several times to understand God and his will for each of us.This is fulfilling, but also difficult when you want to find the subject you need for a particular time in your life. Subjects are delineated in various parts of the Bible because man has had similar situations down through the ages. You need to read the various accounts for a comprehensive understanding. While reviewing various subjects, I took notes and record their scripture references. As a result, I realized this would be helpful for others in their Bible study. This book is a result of my notes. Each note has the Bible references you can use for furthering your personal understanding. It is meant to be a way for you to find the information to assist your Bible study. Any questions concerning these notes please refer to the Bible references for your personal understanding. I realized that to understand the Bible you need additional factors for a fuller understanding. So I added supplemental information.Timeline of the Bible Prophecies and their fulfilment MiraclesFrequently Ask Questions index Subject indexes special events in the BibleProminent people Maps Bible book descriptions You can refer to them for your own personal study. It is my hope that this book will aid your personal Bible study!

Disappointed

This book needs a copy editor. "In sites". One map has the label for Africa in Norway. Perhaps suitable for young readers, not for high school or college.
