Can you ever be sure of a shifter's heart? Jenny Layne has her man, but does she really have his heart?
Just when Jenny needs him most, Billy Stewart has gone missing. Has she scared him away, is he in danger, or has he succumbed to the call of the wild? As the worst winter in a generation closes in, the search for Billy rapidly becomes a matter of life or death - for him, and for those who seek him.
Jenny is the person most likely to find him, so why does she refuse to shift into wolf-form and join the search? What does she fear even more than losing the love of her life?
In the third and final part of her acclaimed Highland shifter series, Ruby Fielding asks just how much would you be willing to give up for the one you love?

I received this for an honest review. I have read a few of Ruby Fielding’s work and have always enjoyed each and every one. There was something I wanted in the last book that I got in this book, so I am quite happy how it ended.
What a great way to end the series is to go back to the beginning, with Billy and Jenny. I just love Billy Stewart and Jenny Layne. They are going to go through some challenging times in this story. Jenny gets to feeling something wrong, something that causes her not to want to shift. Could the shot she was given be wearing off? This causes a fight between Billy and Jenny. All Billy wants is his mate to run with him.
Billy goes missing. Jenny and Iain do not know if something has happen to him or if he has just ran away from all the problems. Iain wants Jenny to use her mate bond to find him, but she refuses to shift. Iain is mad and frustrated. He does not understand why she will not help to find the man she loves.
Billy finds himself in a life or death situation. There seems like there is no hope in sight. Could Jonathan Carr really hate him so much to want to kill him? All Billy wants is to help his mate. Time is critical, if someone does not find Billy then it could be to late.
I have always loved Iain and Skye’s story. It has to be hard for these two. No matter how much Skye listens she cannot truly understand. I love the fact that it does not matter to Iain that Skye is human. He love for her is so deep. She is everything he could possibly want in a mate.
This has been truly an amazing story and have loved each and every character, yes even like Johnathan Carr to a certain degree.
I received an ARC of 'Snow Wolf' from the author, in exchange for an honest review.
I couldn't wait to start reading this book, I wanted to find out if Billy, Jenny, Iain & Skye find peace. Once again, I was quickly thrust into the Scotish highlands & into the lives of some characters I remember from 'Rogue Male' & 'Last Alpha'. This is book 3 in the "A Highland Shifter" series, I strongly recommend reading this series in chronological order.
Set in the same small town, we get to see how Iain & Jenny are slowly getting used to being shifters now, Billy is coaxing them in their training, Skye is still in college, but travelling to Iain whenever he has a particularly bad day. I was drawn into how their lives had changed since the pack became 3 & not just 2. I especially liked how you could read the struggle with balancing your human & your wolf. One moment your wolf wants to shift & the next, you feel like if you do...something bad may happen. Such a confusing time, when just recently there was only ever one. I really don't want to give anything of this storyline away.
I really loved what was going on in this story, & can't wait to read what comes next from Ruby Fielding.
I'm sorry to see this series end but can understand why the author chose to make this the final book.
We are again with characters from Books 1 & 2 but relationships have developed and circumstances have changed.
There is palpable tension between not only the couples involved, but also in the wider environment...something is going to happen, soon...but no-one is sure what that will be.
The characters, who we already know well, are even more convincing as they struggle with all too human emotions as well as the effects of being "shifters".
The ending ties up all loose ends but is not contrived..a testament to the literary skills of the author.
Again, it is the setting that stands out....I could feel the cold of the snow in the Highlands and was totally caught up in the different feelings this invoked in the characters, depending on whether they were in human or shifted form.
I do hope Ruby Fielding gives us more books of this calibre.
I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Jenny was still in Blackbrigg with her mate Billy but her life was not what she had planned or what she was use too after all she us a writer from new york in the usa. She writes about paranormal stories if a hoax or something else. NOW she is in the Scottish forest with her mate a wolf shifter and herself turned into a wold shifter by a evil crazy millionaire bent in killing her mate and taking her! And who knew when the evil Mr Carr would come after them again. The last time they turned their friend into a wolf and kill them all, yea not your normal lifestyle. So what would he do next to them? This story was intense. Poor Billy! It's written in the first person and some times in the first wolf too lol. Carr is so evil! This was a great read full of action, drama, betrayal, and love! How can ya beat that. It is volume 3 and for this I would recommend reading the other two just to get the most out of the series. Book gifted for an honest review and I honestly loved it.
I got this book for a honest review. I also have read the other two books in this series. Do you have to read those to understand this book? No not totally, but it does make this story easier. It is a perfect ending of the other two books, a wrap up about what happened in those.
I give it a 4 and a half star. The fight Jenny has with herself for not wanting to shift to find Billy back. Iain who does everything to find him back and who does everything for Skye his girlfriend. That is so sweet. The things happening with Billy made me sit on the end of my chair, reading more and more to find out what was going to happen next. Having my fingers crossed it would work out, because you never know with Carr messing around and wanting to be the alpha. There were some surprises in this story I didn't see coming, but I liked them. They felt natural.
A great werewolf story, with a setting in beautiful Scotland with snow falling down, what can I wish more for?
This installment is mostly centered on Jenny and finding Billy who has gone missing. Iain and Mr. Carr feature strongly in this installment as well.
While I enjoyed the final story, I admit it did drag in spots where I wanted to just slap a few folks and say “knock it off dummy.” Other than those moments the writing was sold and well-done. It was a nice well-rounded ending to the trilogy. I can say that it completed the story and left nothing hanging for me.
I read this in the omnibus: The Wolves of Craigellen: The Complete Highland Shifter Romance Trilogy (ASIN: B01F3U8LY8)
Jenny is adapting to her life as a werewolf, but has worries about the way they are living. Billy is happy up in the highlands, in the middle of nowhere, but Jenny is more practical. When Billy goes out on his own one day and doesn't come back the panic sets in. Iain can't understand why Jenny won't shift to hunt for Billy so tempers flare. Guess who is at the root of their problems. Will this be the end of the pack? Can two alphas live so close together? This is the third part of the series, the previous ones must be read first.
I received this arc book for an honest review. This is the 3rd book in the series but even though I haven't read the first two yet the story was told so I pretty much knew most of what took place in the first two books, at least enough that I wasn't confused. This was a good story that really drew me in, is a love story between two wolves and it tells their problems and their love for each other. I am looking forward to reading the first books in the series now that I have finished this one.
I looked forward to this one because I have now become enamored of this series. The title itself suggests this wolf will be exceptional because of its kind. When I have read the prologue and then gotten into the beginning I realize she is giving us more of Billy and Jenny, more in depth than ever before. I also quickly realize this one is truly the hearty meat of it all especially if the ones before this have been read. You already will know who everyone is and that quickly gets you in deeper and quicker. the drama will be heightened in this one also, quite tricky of the author since she will have you stuck like glue by now. Something is off with Jenny also and when the time comes you will find out exactly what and why which by then was a surprise to me do not know why I did not expect that one. Iain who is learning more of his control will also be bewildered at first but all hands will be aboard when the search will be on for Billy who will be missing later. This will be a a fast pace after this with the reader swept away by all that will happen that when the time comes for the answers with Billy, he too will get his own surprise. See also just how far Carr is willing to go and the end results will not be what he expects to come about I am sure but he does prepare for all possibilities.
This is a wonderful ending to a fantastic Trilogy. The characters draw you in from the very first book and you become easily invested in each of their stories. The descriptions of the the highlands made you feel as if you were there feeling everything the characters felt whether they were shifted or in human form. This book ties up all of the questions in the series in a wonderful way leaving you satisfied with the outcomes, this author had a wonderful new twist on the shifter world. Jenny loves Billy but she just isn't sure that she truly has his heart and now she knows she is pregnant and is afraid to shift for fear of causing harm to her baby. Billy wants nothing more than to ensure that Jenny is happy and sets out to find a way to put her mind at ease by asking Tsang for help with the pregnancy, Billy then asks Carr for help and finds himself prisoner on the estate. Jenny is frantic Billy has been missing for days and he can't be found, finally she is told by Tsang were Billy is and she puts her fears aside and shifts to goes to find Billy. Find a nice cozy comfy spot to read the twists and turns in this final installment you surely won't be disappointed.
Sad to see the end, but what an unexpected, if not wonderful, ending! Things are tense, Billy frustrated with teaching Iain and Jenny, all of them concerned with Carr and his recent silence, and Jenny having the extra worry over immigration problems since she was well past her two-week temporary visa. Now Jenny is afraid to shift, so much that she just can’t do it, leaving Billy to go out to run alone…only he doesn’t come back. Terrified to shift Jenny can’t go look for him, and Lain becomes angry and judgmental of her refusal to help, she can’t believe Billy would willingly abandon her but as hours turn to days and still no sign, and the weather turning bad she becomes increasingly concerned something terrible has happened, enough to even seek out Carr and ask for help, not that he is. This has been a very creative and entertaining story, right from the first (The Last Alpha) I’ve booed the bad guys and cheered the good guys on. All the books have been true page turners that I can easily see revisiting again and again! A must read in my opinion! **this book received in exchange for an honest review**
This is the third book in the series and the final one. I have really enjoyed the author's perspective on shifters and their relationships. They are very well-written and focus heavily on the characters and their feelings as they endure so many major changes in such a short period of time.
Billy is the only born shifter and he is trying to help his mate Jenny and friend Ian adjust to their new lives as shifters. They still are at risk and worried about when Jonathan will strike again.
Both Billy and Ian are also adjusting to having mates. Skye is a non-shifter and tries hard to understand what it is like for Ian to deal with his wolf. Jenny is experiencing some major changes and is not sure how Billy will deal with it all.
Through all the issues they face, their love for one another remains steadfast. It really is a beautiful story.
"An exciting suspenseful shifter Romance" This story is very intense. The characters are fantastic. Jenny Layne and Billy Stewart are Werewolves. Jenny never knew Werewolves were real till she gets tricked into visiting the Highlands. Jenny is an investigative paranormal reporter. A Billionaire Jonathan Carr had tricked Jenny and turned her into a Werewolf. Then she met her mate Billy who is a sworn enemy of Carr. Jenny is worried as when she first came to Scotland she was suppose to only stay a few weeks. Soon she will be classified as an illegal immigrant and a fugitive. Billy and Jenny are also trying to help another young Man Carr turned against his will. Billy and Carr had a battle awhile back and Billy knows that was not the end of it. You will love this very suspenseful, intense and exciting Romance!. It is a must read book!.
Given to me for an honest review. This is the third and final book in the Highlander Shifter Romance series. This volume and The Last Alpha (volume 1) are the stories of Billy and Jenny. Volume 2 is Rogue Male and is Iain and Skye's story. Volume 2 is a standalone. It seems Ms Fielding's stories start slowly, so hang in there. Jenny and Billy are in love. Jenny blogs about the strange. She is in the middle of strange and dares not blog about it. Iain and Billy check the perimeter of their property because they do not trust Carr to stay on his property. Jenny worries about money because Billy doesn't have a job. She also has visa problems. Will she be able to handle all her issues? How much trouble will Carr cause?
Just wow! Snow Wolf is the stunning conclusion of the three-part series. I had fun revisiting previous characters from last two books of the series. The situation between Jonathan Carr and Billy Stewart comes to a breaking point. Read to find out how.
Be warned that the story is not a short read. It’s under 300 pages of great storytelling. I highly recommend Ruby Fielding’s stories.
This is the end of the series and brings back Jenny and Billy. Billy isn't understanding that Jenny doesn't want to shift and all she knows is that something is telling her that she shouldn't. One day he goes off by himself for a run as his wolf and doesn't come back. Jenny thinks he's upset with her for not shifting. When she realizes he's disappeared she still can't shift to go find him. Billy wants to go home but can't. You need to read to find out what happens to him and the surprises that come.
A very good ending to this series. Once again the author makes you feel like your with them which I really enjoyed
Ruby FieldingSnow Wolf: A Highland shifter romance I read this book first and although I should have read the first 2 books it didn't feel as if I couldn't follow the story. It is a good read with lots of what ifs,i was rooting for a happy ending for both couples,i'm going to go back and read the first 2...I know it's not the right way but that's me! Good read with lots going on,would recommend giving it a try. Given in exchange for review.
I was given this book for a honest review. This is the third book in the series. But if you didn't read 1 or 2 you can still read this one and know what going on . This is a love story between Billy and Jenny. A love that really get tested you have read to hear about the testing. Also there is rival between Billy and Mr. Carr that you would nit expect how it turns out. Billy friend steps up in this book and really find out he is in love as well and see what his girlfriend does. I have really loved reading this book.
I loved the ending to Billy, Jennifer, Skye and Iain's story, was quite surprised by it.
This book has a lot of suspense in it and a lot of intrigue. If you've read the previous 2 books then you'll love this one and I won't give anything about it away, just say that it is awesome! If you haven't read the previous 2, then don't worry cause the author makes sure to give you a small rundown of what's been happening throughout the story, so you won't be lost.
Get it, you'll love it!
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
I got this in exchange for an honest review, I am a fan of Ruby work and this series was just so amazing what a book to read I felt things get really heated in this one certain feelings emotions conflictions actions decisions were making things tense between everyone which was cool I liked the suspense in this one and also what happens to each character is captivating I was very enchanted with them and liked the end hope there is more to come and that this is not the end because I would like to know more about these great characters I recommend this to everyone
I loved this book. I'm a little late I'm writing this review. I received this book from the author free to leave an honest review. this book was amazing I love how she was able to bring all the characters together finally and how a family was able to make it. Billy ends up missing and Jenny is afraid he left her. She's afraid to shift BC she doesn't want to do harm to someone who will become very special. Iain and Skye are making progress in their relationship. I hope more books will come so we can see where each couple ends up and how Jenny and Billy's baby turns out.
Billy, Jenny and Iain are still holed up in the old cottage. When Jenny refuses to to shift Billy is concerned until the possible reason dawns on him. Trying to deal with Jonathan Carr is as treacherous as ever, and may cause someone their life. Wow, fantastic conclusion. The plot twists and turns and keeps the reader in suspense until the very end. I loved this series!
I received this ARC free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author Ruby Fielding.
Jenny Layne was dealing with being in a foreign county and becoming a wolf. Not an easy task but with the help of Billy Stewart she was trying. When Billy goes missing Jenny thinks it is her fault and guilt takes a heavy toll on her. Can Billy come back to her or did she drive him away for good.
This starts out a little rough but after the first chapter it gets real good,
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is the third and final book in the trilogy, and I was a little nervous about what would happen, since I've been disappointed with series before when they ended on a bad note. And I was really worried when I saw the plot where had gone missing. Luckily that wasn't a problem with this series, and I was really happy to see Billy and Jenny get their HEA.
Great series. I loved the story and the characters were sexy, fun and well fleshed out. The settings were wonderfully vivid and it was easy to picture it like you were a character in the story yourself and seeing it. I loved this series and recommend it to anyone who loves shifters.
This is the last of the series. Billy is the only natural born shifter. Jenny his mate has been turned by a bite. She is now in Scotland illegally with no way to leave. Will Johnathan Carr get his way or will Billy win in the end? I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I received this book in exchange for my honest review. Another great book in an awesome series. I didn't want to see the series end, but I love how Ruby pulled everything together! I can't wait for the next series.
I was given this ARC for a fair and honest review This was a great ending to a brilliant series. I love Jenny and Billy, Iain and Skye. I'm glad it finished the way it did I would definitely recommend this to fans of PNR.
