This is a collection of Chinese folklore translated in Bengali. Its part of a project by "বিশ্বসাহিত্য কেন্দ্র" to introduce best of the best world literature to Bengal people. And folklore or fairy tales are one of the most traditional and representative part of a continents literature. It portrays the life style of the specific region the the story is centered around. Mostly the stories are about common people, sometimes about talking animals, some mythical entities. All the stories represent a part of the human nature, their good side and bad side. Most of the time good prevails against evil. The stories here have been simplified for the reading ease of common people. So even a toddler can enjoy alongside his parents or grandparents. Really appreciate how the hard working farmers of China have been represented here in these fairy tales to showcase their glee and sorrow of everyday life alongside their struggle against greedy Kings and rulers.

Simple yet nostalgic book.The translation of Chinese Myths was really delightful to read.The simplicity of myths is always the thing that makes me happy.Same goes for this book.It really made me happy.Excellent book to make young people fall in love with reading.
Also Lovvvvedddd the Chinese version of Belle.

কত বছর পর রূপকথার গল্প পড়লাম। আহ! সে আমলের চিনের লোকেরা বোধহয় রাজাদের দ্বারা নিপীড়িত হত। গল্পগুলোতে তার ছাপ পড়েছে।
