Rate this book
The peace between the militarized Earthlings and the cybernetic Martians is collapsing.

When an unknown alien life form crash-lands on Mars, the tenuous cease-fire between the militarized earthlings and cybernetic Martians is pushed to the brink. To prevent a second intergalactic war between the humanoid factions, Bellrock, a semi-retired veteran of the first war, is paired with a leading scientist of the newly enlightened human race. Their mission is to gauge the alien's threat level without escalating tension between the already embittered factions.
When the inevitable conflict explodes, Bellrock discovers the real danger has been lurking beneath the Martian surface…

An interesting & riveting story about two distinct human races (species?) who have to combine their forces to deal with a new life form. The militarized humans prefer war, the cybernetic Martians want a technology-enhanced negotiation.

A slow and steady beginning that ultimately leads to a constant suspense ride. So if you're not compelled by the first chapters, read on. It gets much better. Especially the main character, Bellrock, grew beyond the soldier archetype and surprised me with his interesting background story.

The story is an interesting mix between space opera pulp and soft-science/serious sci-fi thriller. The combo works for most of the time, especially in the suspenseful showdown.

Another sci-fi gem from Mars Dorian but I preferred "Fear The Liberator" from the same author.

Still, if you want entertaining and smart sci-fi, check this one out. It's a fast-paced read.

My newest book about two human factions--the Earthlings and the Martians--that have to deal with an unknown alien life form invading the solar system.

I wanted to tell a story about two completely different factions, both in terms of technology and ideology, and how they would react toward an unknown alien. The space opera thriller is full of unique characters, crazy sci-fi tech and revelations. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
