I had just gotten home from spending a few days with two of best friends in Vegas. All I wanted was a little time to relax and rejuvenate before going to work the following day. I'd just set my bags down, closed my door, and fell onto my couch when my phone rang.
I should have known it was my big brother. That was always a joke with him. We were twins, and he was minutes older than me. He'd been protecting and hovering over me my entire life. Of course he'd call to make sure I was home safe and in one piece. He was a thousand miles away, but it never felt like it.
When he announced that he was getting married, I was surprised. They had only known each other for about a year. What he said next shocked me even more. They were getting married in two weeks, and he wanted me to be in the wedding.
I hadn't been home for more than a moment in over ten years. He'd come to visit me plenty of times, and he'd even brought her with him. No matter what was happening, I'd always found a way out of going home. His wedding was the exception. My brother was getting married, and I needed to be there.
There was only one problem.
His name was Jackson, but I called him Jackie.
He was my brother's best friend and the reason I'd been running for so long.
Could I do it? Could I face him after all those years?
I didn't have a choice. I knew I had to go, but I didn't have to do it alone.

Just too short
The storyline is good, the characters are likable and even the situation that Jackson and Tina find themselves in, is understandable. 5 short books to tell a story is just too much.

Many typos and omitted words. At one point Jackson is described as wearing basketball shorts and a t-shirt but a few pages later (after sex) he was putting on his jeans and t-shirt.
Other than that, I'm eager to read part 2.

Looks like another winner from Sharon! This is a cliffhanger. It is part 1 of a 3 part story. It is about 12,000 words (67 pages) and can be read in about an hour. Part 2 is scheduled to be released in January and part 3 in February 2016. Snap it up now while it is $.99 on Amazon.
The 3 parts together will form a normal full length romance.
I don't normally read cliffhangers, unless it is one of Sharon's books. Sharon writes hot, sexy romances. I went back last night to look up something in "What Happened after Vegas" (part 2 of a 2 part story) and ended up reading the entire book again--it is such a wonderful hot sexy romance with the best HEA ever. I am not giving away anything, but Sharon would be hung by her fans if such a story did not end wonderfully! LOL!
There are really no spoilers in Part 1. Tina has crush on her twin brother's best friend, Jackson, since age 13. Brother makes his best friend promise to never touch his twin sister. Tina and Jackson meet at she and her brothers' high school graduation party. They have a few minutes alone on the beach and then he disappears, feeling guilty that he has broken his word to her brother. She is totally heart broken and loves Jackson and hates him for the next decade +.
She never will ever love anyone else. Jackson is also heart broken, but stays away since he doesn't think Tina can ever forgive him. He is truly still in love with her and never has a serious relationship, almost killing himself becoming a very wealthy businessman, trying unsuccessfully to forget her.
In their early 30's her twin brother gets married and guilts her to be at his wedding.Tina has not been home in over 10 years, always wanting to not see his best friend, Jackson, again. Both Tina and Jackson hope the other one will not show up, but they do and now the fireworks begins!

Would they have a second chance?
Tina had spent the last decade running away from her first love and only family could drag her back home. Tim was getting married and she had to go see her big brother (by ten minutes) say “I do”. Hopefully that wouldn’t mean she would run into Jackson but given he and Tim were best friends that was probably not going to happen. Could she deal with that?
I love cliffhangers and I dislike them. I don’t want to say hate because that’s a really strong word but when someone knowingly tortures and tantalizes you with a cliffhanger, honestly… All bets are off.
This is the first in a three-part serial that has gotten off to an emotional start. Giving the background on what happened between these two this installment is a well-written buildup for what is to come.
While I don’t understand how what happened would cause Tina to cut herself off completely from her hometown her feelings for Jackson are still plainly vivid and raw. Jackson remembers all too well and he has his own feelings to deal with. With the wedding still to come there will be lots more to come and I can’t wait!

How can you not fall in love with books like these. Remember this is book one and the others are to come in the next two months. Sharon as a writer is amazing and her serials are always a favorite of mine. This one is no different and can be read is just a few short hours. Tina and her twin brother Tim have an amazing bond and his best friend always wants to mess with her. Nicknamed Tiny by him and Jackie by her Jackson has always had a little something for Tina, but because Tim is his best friend and he promised not to make a move he settled for teasing. However one night really does change everything as Tina leaves for college and never comes back. Now ten years later separate and not knowing what really happened her brother begs her to come back. But it is not peaches and cream find out if she actually goes and does Jackson have the nerve to be a man?

But to Tina, who hasn't been back home in 10 years in order to avoid a certain male, it is. This first book (of 3) is a great treat to dive into and entice you with the story. It is a great introduction to the characters and the background behind the relationships. It ends in such a way that leaves you panting and wanting more. I can't wait to read the next installment and see what happens with Tina and the man she worked so hard to stay away from for so long. Do they get together? Does he even care she's there? So many questions to answer in the books to come! Yet again, Sharon Cummin has done a fabulous job of drawing the reader into the story and wanting more!

This is the 1st part in this series by this author.
Romance can be nothing more than doing simple tasks together, shopping, cooking a simple walk in the park. As a child though your first love might start with a nudge, a topple them over ground breaking fall with a simple stare that takes your breath away. Hence romance starting young.
As this author brings you into this book you will find many of surprises, many of gasps and many "what the heck" moments but no worries for with the grace that this author has she won't keep us to long in the waiting to find out next in part 2.

Wow what an excellent start to another great series. Tina has had a crush on Jackson since age 13. Her whole young life she wandered what it would be like to be with him. After graduation she gets her wish but everything is different now. Staying away from her friends and family for several years just to avoid Jackson and her feelings. She is now forced to see him again since her twin is getting married.
From the start the story pulled me in with the promise of a childhood crush and how it all enfolds. Then fast forward to the now awkward reunion. I look forward to see were these two are headed and how many more misunderstanding will come between them. Looking forward to part 2

February 11, 2016Oh my stars, I am ready for the second part, like right now, lol... I loved the interaction between Tiny and Jackie. She doesn't think she is good enough for him, he promised her brother to never touch her. They have been friends forever but she is secretly in love with him. After graduation, what should have been a momentous occasion, went terribly wrong. Now 10 yrs later, they are coming face to face again. Can't wait to see how it all plays out. There is a cliff hanger just so you know. Very erotic sex scene and I'm curious about the tattoo.

She has a past that she has run from. A hurt so bad she let her family go. Tina received a phone call ten years after leaving home. Her brother is getting married and he wants her there. But will his best friend be there? Jackson was the reason for escape. This is part one of a trilogy of books staring Tina and Jackson. I personally detest this type of story line, that is waiting for the next installment. But was happy to find it completed. So was able to read the full story. Liked how Sharon Cummings loved the drama and angst out.

Jackson and Tiny are awesome. she's always had feelings for her brother's best friend and knew that she would always be Tim little sister, but then one night changed everything and she just never thought Jackson would treat her that way, now 10 years later and she's back for her brother's wedding can she handle seeing her one true love? omg I was left wanting more must read bk 2 now.

This story is starting off slow but building. The connection between Jackson and Tina is crazy. They are attracted to each other but neither one wants to say anything because of what happened 10 years ago. They are making sure no one finds out. Tina's friend Chris has no idea what is going on and gets caught in the crossfire of their situation. The cliffhanger leaves you wondering what will happen while they are at rehearsal. Can't wait for the next book.

I am a huge fan of Sharon Cummin's work and this new story is just another reason why. Ms Wilder has a way of building suspense and leaving her readers craving g and demanding more. This story is no exception. I love the fact that two main characters build such a passionate relationship without exchanging names, let alone knowing what the others look like. I cannot wait to read the next installment to this series!!!

Great storyline!
What a great storyline. I would love to smack some sense into Jackson right now! Lol. Tina has secretly been in love with Jackson since she was 13. But Jackson doesn't want to betray his best friend's first by hooking up with his sister. This book is a lot of fun to read. I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far. I am excited to see what happens next. Other than a few grammatical errors this book is excellent!!

This was a very fast read. But it does end with a cliff hanger for the next 2 books. I loved Tina in this series. She reminds me so much of myself in that she was the shy girl that grew up to be the loud one. My reasons were different than hers but it made me have a pull toward her character none the less.
She grows up being picked on the one boy that she has only has feeling for. It all comes to a head on her 18th birthday. Must read.

What a great opening book for this series. There is a great character building start so you quickly get the gist of the story if you couldn't tell from the title. Tina, two years younger than Jackson had a crush on him for 5 years until he popped her cherry in a one off beach session. Both felt incredible but one ran away and couldn't face the consequence - now 10yrs later it's time to come face to face.Will find out what happens next in book 2.

Definitely enjoyable and a quick read. Despite being quite predictable so far, I will continue reading the series as there is just something about Jackson that draws me to him. He's shown a little humor, and his sexing was quite steamy. I'm hoping we get a twist in part duo.

Great story with lots of angst, heartache & misunderstandings. We get to see the history between Jackson & Tina. We get to see why both Jackson & Tina both avoid going back to their home town. Will the wedding of her twin brother bring her home?
