The Game

Rate this book
Is it cheating if she leaves him clues? Is it cheating if it turns him on? After a late-night dinner party gets a group of thirty-something friends chatting about adultery, Oscar MacDonald discovers that he harbors a dark fantasy about his wife’s infidelity. When wife Izzie forces his secret into the open, Oscar says his only real condition for her to sleep with other people would be for her to share all the details with him. Izzie says she wouldn’t feel comfortable sleeping with someone then spilling the details, even to her husband. But what if she left him clues, to hint at what she did when enjoying herself with other men? Maybe, just maybe, she would be tempted to turn fantasy into reality. They could even make a game of it. A full-length, wife-sharing adventure from the author of A Lockdown Affair.

Liked the plot. Hated the wife. I don't like hotwife books where I feel like the wife is abusing the freedom or managed to turn it into borderline-questionable cheating. She stopped using condoms with one man and didn't discuss it with hubby first. That had previously been a hard limit for him. She continually flirted with the "rules" in such a way it felt like she'd quit fucking her lover for the illicit thrill it gave her spouse and had instead just started fucking a ton of random men for her own enjoyment. Several times she used drugs and had recreational sex with men her hubby had no idea she was even with...more definite hard limits. Her husband learned about those men and the drug use after the fact FROM HER FRIEND. I hate sneaky FMC's in hotwife books. This kind of liaison demands total trust. This bitch was skanky, shady at best. She's doing it all for a big story she kept her journalist husband in the dark about. That's were this went to shit, unbelievability, and hooker behavior. Plus the writing is always barely passable.

I’m a big fan of Max Sebastian, but this one didn’t do it for me!

The story is well written, and the premise is terrific, but I didn’t like any of the characters and I felt the sex was pretty degrading.

To say I read this book is a bit of an overstatement. I got bored as the husband rolled around in turmoil and the sex went off the rails, so I skimmed a bunch; I didn’t feel I’d missed much.

This book didn’t do it for me, but it was well written, so I’ve given it 3 Stars. Max has such a great track record with me, I’m looking forward to his next book. (Perhaps the next installment in Marriage 2.0?)

another beautiful tale by Max

This was another great hotwife adventure. A nice little tale very well written with lots of twist and turns. Max has been doing this for a long time and knows the genre very well and this is another must read for those who love the game.

Exciting Read

Gosh I got pulled into the story, then it became a story that was hard to put down, wouldn't surprise me if there was a tiny bit, that's real in American politics .
