What a lovely little book this is. I felt good just reading it. Right now, there is so much negativity in the world. We all need a reminder of compassion. The author recommends limiting experiences that could affect your compassion. This is as simple as limiting the media input. She also mentions the importance of active listening.

The instructions for the meditations and exercises are easy to follow. I love the Gates of Speech exercise with the THINK mnemonic. She covers so many topics including generosity, ethics, free will, virtues, values and being mindful. This is a beautifully written book and I recommend it to anyone and everyone that wants to add more compassion to their lives.

"Compassion is the Key to Everything" by Alexandra Chauran

I had to pick up this book when I saw it at the library. Although I make every effort to live my life with compassion, understanding and patience, I was going through a little situation that needed an open mind and a bit extra compassion for the other party involved.

I was hoping I would learn something profound in this book, but it didn't teach me anything I didn't already know. In a world full of people who sometimes do things to hurt others for their own gains, its nice reading about compassion. This book unfortunately didn't provide anything extraordinary to add to my journey.

Knowing the author for a long time I was surprised to find she wrote a book about compassion. She does not live her life with compassion for others. Honestly she smashes around life with little regard for the others around her seeking only to use people as a means to fill whatever emotional voids exist inside her soul. I would say that she knows nothing about compassion or awareness of the needs of others. So why would she write this? It confuses me to no end.

Creating a thoughtful way of life using empathy, happiness, gentleness and most of all compassion. Is more easy to say than done but the author help us with a lot of suggestion to deal with the problems of the everyday life and the new way to handle them.

THANKS TO NETGALLEY AND Llewellyn Worldwide, Ltd.FOR THE PREVIEW!
