Note: This review is for the entire series.

So, continuing the ongoing story of the original Night of the Living Dead.

This story focuses on the police officers during the zombie outbreak.

I've noticed most of the art in the Double Take books is similar: colorful and cartoony, not great but not bad. It is a fairly original look.

So this volume was interesting. It looks like there's more to the zombie virus than the mindless shufflers we've seen before, as we are seeing an emergence of "alphas" who spread the virus with a kiss and then are able to control some of the other, lower class zombies.

As I read more of the Double Take books I'm seeing some neat world building going on, but the stories are still somewhat confusing.

This was okay. It's a digital comic which knows it's a digital comic, so I kind of liked that. But the plot is kind of dumb. The dialog is basically okay. I didn't hate it, but I definitely won't read any further.

Definitely not a fan of Double Take comics. Didn't like the art, and the story is not that enticing either.
