It’s a dream come true for schoolteacher Hayley Smith. No homework to grade, no students to corral, no social media, Internet or cell phone…just a month amid the heather and rolling hills around Inverness. A brawny alpha male in a kilt is probably too much to ask for. But Hayley is in heaven ambling around Loch Ness, gazing and then…falling into the icy water, before being rescued by a strong, chivalrous local hero…
Retired soccer star Angus Munro, aka Angus the Angler, is a little insulted and a whole lot intrigued when Hayley doesn’t recognize him. How long has it been since anyone saw beyond his wealth and fame? And how long before the macho athlete and his modern-day American damsel in distress act on an attraction that could make even the misty Scottish moors sizzle with heat? Long enough, maybe, for both to figure out if this is an affair to remember…or the start of something everlasting…
Janice Maynard came to the writing life early! When her third grade short story, “The Princess and the Robbers”, won a red ribbon in a school arts fair, Janice was hooked. She followed up that early success with a more commercial piece in the sixth grade… “Why My Mom Loves To Drink Coke”. No advance for that one, but she won a six-pack of Coke… remember those great little bottles?
In junior high Janice began circulating her work to a wider audience. A dozen or so notebook pages stapled together made the rounds in some particularly boring classes, with the riveting tales carefully hidden behind textbooks.
High school meant the big time… editor of the school newspaper, the Maroon and White. Janice used her insightful editorials to delve into such meaty subjects as “locker room odor” and “why we need two-ply tissue in the student bathrooms”.
College brought lots of writing, but very little of it creative… four years later, Janice stepped into the adult world as a fully certified elementary teacher.
Despite motherhood, full-time employment, and keeping up with an “always into something” husband, Janice never lost her love of writing or the desire to be published. In 1996 she realized her long-time dream when Kensington Publishing bought her first book, Sweetheart. That exciting moment was followed by the sales of two more books in the Precious Gem line.
In the fall of 2002, Janice left the classroom to pursue writing full-time.
I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
Hayley and her two friends are big Outlander fans, so a trip to Scotland sounds like a dream. However, in order to insure they have the adventure of a lifetime, they decide to split up and forgo modern electronics and will only communicate with each other if they are in trouble. Hayley's adventure starts off a bit rough when she falls into a loch but her rescuer makes it all worth it. Angus is fascinated with the American who refuses to use a cell phone and in-between rescuing her, her landlord, and his mother from a flood, he can't wait to get to know her more. Hayley's trip might not exactly copy Claire's but she just might get her own happily ever after.
If you're a fan of Outlander (and Harry Potter) and have ever dreamt about finding yourself in that heroine's shoes, then you might find this book full of fun whimsy. Our heroine Hayley frequently mentions that book, the landmarks that appear in the series, and how she desperately wants to meet her own Jamie Fraser. For me, she mentioned it so much I wanted to sit her down and say "You do realize you can't actually travel back in time and meet Jamie Fraser, right?”. Hayley's character was a bit head in the clouds and her and her friends plan to take a trip together to Scotland only to separate and not be allowed to use electronics (but apparently they can watch t.v. and drive cars) felt a bit odd.
The whole story is first person, told from Hayley's point of view. As typically happens for me when this writing style is used, I missed knowing and feeling our hero's point of view. I never felt Angus' depth; he seemed very walled off, until the last chapter where feelings are declared. Their relationship felt forced and I'm not sure I ever felt any chemistry. The book is a pretty quick read and never felt slow but our couple's relationship felt rushed, even as nothing was really happening. They like each other and I definitely got that they wanted to sleep together but the substance and details that I enjoy reading that lead to characters falling in love was missing.
There's plenty of detail of the town Hayley is staying at, with a good amount of touristy information that makes it obvious the author really did her homework or she has visited. The character of the country Scotland came through at times but our hero and heroine were not so lucky. Hayley's landlord was a great secondary character, she had a little background story that made me feel for her and enough personality to fill the pages but not butt in. Angus' mother was the other main secondary character and the mini role of villain felt pushed on her.
As I said, this is a quick read but I felt it lacked spark, charm, and the main couple's romance was fairly dry. The storyline of a single woman looking for love in Scotland, having a meet cute, pulling together in a crisis event, having a mini struggle/miscommunication, and an eventual happily ever after, can be found many times over in contemporary romance. Unfortunately, this book didn't distance itself from the rest for me.
Hot for the Scot,( Kilted Heroes #1), by Janice Maynard is a 2016 Kensington publication. I was provided a copy of this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This story is a lot of fun and a must read for fans of Outlander, or those who love Highlanders, and Scottish based romance novels.
Filled with visions of Harry Potter landmarks, and daydreams of Jamie Fraser, three best friends take off for Scotland on a romantic mission. Once they arrive, they agreed to split up and search for what each one needs from this vacation. This first installment in the Kilted Heroes trilogy, centers around school teacher, Hayley, from Georgia.
Hayley’s adventure gets off to an…er..interesting start when she nearly drowns, but, is rescued by a gorgeous, hot, Scot. After he returns Hayley to her quaint bed & breakfast, she learns her rescuer is no ordinary native. It turns out her hero is none other than Angus Munro, aka “Angus the Angler”, a retired football (soccer) star.
Angus has returned to his home town, hoping to put his hard and fast living days behind him and do something meaningful with his life. However, his return home has not gone as smoothly as he had hoped, with the residents shunning him, and constantly questioning his motives.
When he meets Hayley from Georgia, he finds his life turned upside down by the sweet American who is ready to throw caution to the wind in hopes of finding a little romance… and maybe even true love.
Who among you can honestly say you have never envisioned acting out your own version of Outlander, or meeting a modern day Jamie Fraser or another of your favorite men in kilts? This story capitalizes on that particular fantasy in a modern day setting, with a light, fun, easy to read story featuring characters we can relate to.
Hayley’s vacation didn’t turn out exactly as she had thought it would when a natural disaster interferes with her lodgings and her sightseeing plans. But, it does put her in direct contact with Angus again. The sexual chemistry between this couple sizzles and burns, so It was fun to watch them fall in love, face challenges and learn to compromise and work together.
Angus’ priorities garnered my respect and his big heart will have yours melting like butter, and may even have you thinking of planning out your own Scottish excursion.
Overall, this is light, whimsical, contemporary romance that will entertain and delight you.
I love Scots. I love reading stories about Scots. I want to visit Scotland someday. I want to bring Angus Munro home with me, in a kilt and keep him.
Janice Maynard brought the hills of Scotland to life in this wonderful story. She combined the history of Scotland with the beauty of this land, then she threw in a hot, retired football player. To sweeten the pot, she added a shy, open-hearted school teacher. To spice it up, she stirred in an unexpected dip in Loch Ness, an over-protective mother and a hurricane. Once she had all the ingredients together and simmering, she threw in the pièce de résistance … a romantic week-end trip to Oden. What is the name of this recipe you may ask … Hot For The Scot.
I don’t know if I want to start with wee Hayley or Angus the Angler. Both characters were interesting and fun and as opposite as you can get. When Hayley set her mind to doing something, she does it. No matter how scared or insecure she is about it, she makes sure it gets done. She’s dependable, quiet and has an inner strength. Angus is her hero and possibly the man of her Outlander dreams.
Yes, the TV show and book “The Outlander” has a starring role in this story. It’s time for me to find out if it’s on Netflix so that I could watch it and really find out what all the fuss was about and what had Hayley, Willow and McKenzie plan their dream vacation looking for romance and adventure.
Now, for Angus. He really was a little bit confusing in the beginning and I wasn’t sure where she was going to bring him. But, the minute he put the plaid around Hayley, waited on Mrs. Pottinger’s stoop and told Hayley from Atlanta that he wanted to take her to the castle, I was a gonner. For being a rough and tough soccer player, he had a sweet, kind and witty side of him that had me *sighing* and getting all dreamy eyed. Then, throw in his need to protect those he cares about, his caveman ways and his Gaelic endearments, I swooned. Yes, I fell in total love with Angus and couldn’t have been happier with his feelings for Hayley.
Now, I can’t wait to see just what Janice Maynard has in store for Willow and McKenzie during their adventures through the Scottish countryside. Will they meet their own Jamie Fraser from Outlander? Will they be swept off their feet by a hot Scot? Will they follow in Hayley’s footsteps and make new lives for themselves?
After re-reading this review, I really don’t feel like I am doing this story justice. It was a wonderfully told story about two people who got to know each other before they fell in love. Who weathered a storm and put themselves second so that they could help others. Who knew that the chemistry was there but anticipation could be good for the soul. Janice Maynard, a new-to-me author, totally entranced me with her story-telling skills. She kept me engaged in the story, made the characters loveable and really did make me feel that I was walking through the heart of Scotland.
Hot for the Scot offered a lot of my favorites in one read. I received an early release copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This was not only a great romance but, it was also a great armchair travel book. Hayley Smith and her two best friends were very close when growing up. But, when they were teens their lives all take different paths, with moving to other areas and choices they make that cause them to not be able to spend as much time together as they did as children. But, one thing they all have in common which keeps them close is their love for reading, especially a particular series with time travel and a historical romance based in Scotland. They each dream of meeting their very own 'Hot Scot' and make a pact to remove all modern obstacles during their trip like mobile phones and the Internet. They also agree to strike out individually for the month and become a part of the areas that each is visiting.
Hayley is immersing herself in the area she is visiting and early into her trip literally is thrown together with Angus Munro who is the epitome of 'Hot Scot'. Hayley dates but, she is unprepared for how quickly she falls for Angus. Despite being from a small Scottish village, Angus has lived a larger than life existence and has traveled and lived the life of an International star. He also has a mother that wants him all to herself. Despite all of the trials that Hayley and Angus face during the one month they spend time traveling and Angus is an excellent travel guide that knows the history of his country. Hayley is taken out of her list-making comfort zone but, she gets the vacation of a lifetime along with the romance of a lifetime. There are at least two more friends that we will see how they do with their Scottish adventure and I look forward to more Scottish armchair travel because Janice Maynard does an excellent job of helping the reader see the green hills of Scotland. Review can also be seen at LadyTechie's Book Musings http://ladytechiesbookmusings.blogspo....
Hayley and her friends are huge Outlander fans. They plan a fantastic trip to Scotland but decide to give up modern day niceties, specifically cell phones, and only communicate if they are in trouble. Hot for the Scot is the first book in the Kilted Heroes series and it is Hayley's story.
When Hayley is sightseeing she finds trouble pretty quick when she falls into the Loch. She's rescued by sexy, hot, Scot-Angus. Angus is fascinated with the American schoolteacher who won't use a cell phone. His interest is peaked and he wants to get to know her better.
If you are a fan of Outlander, Harry Potter, the Scottish Highlands, or smoking, muscled Scots, then this book is for you! Janice Maynard has created a book that brings all those highlights under one cover. She also does an excellent job of describing what Hayley is seeing. It is apparent that the author has seen these Scotland sights first hand!
This story is told from Hayley's point of view. Unfortunately I would've really enjoyed a look into Angus head from time to time. As it was, I felt no real connection to him. Yes it was clear he and Hayley were attracted to each other, but I didn't feel any real chemistry oozing from them.
I also thought it was odd that she was planning this big trip with friends and then they all separate and don't use their phones. I think I would've liked a few planned get-togethers so they could've compared notes and know everyone is well. I also get their fascination with Outlander and Harry Potter, but after awhile it got to be overkill. Jamie Fraser is a fictional character, right??? That being said, many woman love that fantasy of a man in a kilt and this story goes that route. Unfortunately the romance for me was rather dull and lacked that extra oompf that every story needs to propel it to greatness.
3 stars/2.5 flames
This book was gifted to me for the express purpose of an honest review. The rating and review are solely my opinion and in no way was I compensated.
Think Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants meets Outlander. That describes Hot for the Scot by Janice Maynard perfectly. Although I have never been swept up in the craze drawn by the aforementioned movie, show and books, I loved this one. These sisters of the heart have drifted apart but are united by their love of a revered book Outlander and their fantasies about Scotland. They journey to the land of their dreams, where adventure waits and maybe even romance. Hot for the Scot is the first book of the Kilted Heroes series. Hayley stumbles into her own romance novel, learns about herself and has to make important choices. I requested an ARC of Hot for the Scot from NetGalley. A great blend of fantasy, reality and romance.
Lady Maynard, you are one of my new favorite author !!! This first in a new serie was soooo sweet, i loved it ! As a great fan of Outlander, books and tv series, i just loved the idea of this new trilogy. And let me tell you 2 things now: 1 - i just can't wait to read the book 2 and 3 now !!! I'll order them both to know if Mackenzie and Willow will be as lucky as Hayley. 2 - Now if you'll excuse me, i need to reread Outlander, once again ! Thanks !!! *Thanks to Netgalley and Kensington Books*
Thanks to Lyrical Shine and Netgalley for the book in exchange for a honest review.
Ever since Outlander has become this giant hit, both the books and the show, people have been wanting to do a Scottish trip. See where Jamie and Claire stood, find the romance Claire found. It's a dream for most but Hayley got to do it with her two best friends. One month to explore alone and without technology, perhaps she'll find everything she's looking for.
Getting to the place she's staying she's a bit perplexed, the landlady just has the one room and the house is a bit cluttered but the room she rented is great! She's able to look around the small town near the loch and enjoy the Scottish experience. One day though she gets too close to the loch and falls in. The man who rescues her is a local guy, but famous. He's a retired soccer player Angus Munro and he's like her fantasies coming to life.
Angus came home because he wanted to help his mom. It's too bad people either want to hang out with him and talk soccer or they treat him like he thinks hes too good. When he saves the red haired girl from the loch and she doesn't know who he is, its refreshing. She's easy on the eyes and she's smart; plus he enjoys talking to her. They become romantically involved and it's like everything is falling into place. Then the flood happens and Angus saves her, her landlady and his mother, and brings them to live at his home. The close proximity just heightened all of the feelings they had for each other.
I requested this one on a whim, I'd read the author before but this one intrigued me since it was different from her norm. I read this in one day, I couldn't put it down. I was jealous of Hayley's adventure and also excited to see where it would lead her. Sometimes I thought that Angus was a little flat but it wasn't enough to slow the story down for me. I eagerly await the next books in this series so I can find out what happened with Willow and McKenzie! Leave the author love in the form of a review, its your way to show your appreciation for their craft.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest opinion.
I loved this story!
Hayley and 2 of her friends are going to Scotland for a month. Once they get there tho, they are going to split up and all go their separate ways for the month.
Hayley is staying at a so called B&B. This is not like any you have ever seen. She is close enough so sight see and relax. Hayley play life kind of safe so this is a stretch for her.
Within a few days Hayley meets Angus, of course it took her falling into a Loch to do it! They started spending some time together and then a terrible storm producing floods came about and Angus went and collected his mother Mairi, Hayley and her "landlady" Annis since they were in homes that would have some flooding.
She is loving the time spent with Angus at his home and Angus is just as happy. There are plenty of sparks flying between them but they don't feel comfortable with the other ladies there to give in.
The rains have stopped and they all joined in helping others clean up and get back into their homes. Hayley feels like more than a tourist now, she feels like a part of the community.
With Hayley's trip drawing close to ending, what will she and Angus do? Will they have a real relationship?
As I said, I loved this story. Hayley is a fan of the show "Outlander" and I liked the references and the discussions about the show, since it is a favorite of mine. This was also a wake up call for both Hayley and Angus and what they wanted from their lives.
This is definitely a must read! Then after enjoying the story so much, I discover that this is a series and the next book is about one of Hayley's friends that went to Scotland with her. Can't wait for the next one!
This was a cute little read about 3 best friends to who head off to Scotland to find there own Jamie from outlander. Hayley and her two friends fly to Scotland and decide to split up so they can each have there own experience. I loved and yet hated at the same time that they spilt up but I did like they checked in and wanted to do this own there own.
This book contained some cute and funny scenes that had me laughing out loud but sometimes I didn't feel so connected to the characters. Angus for example is a retired soccer player and is used to people recognizing him but I didn't feel an instant attraction between him or Hayley.
One of my favorite parts is actually when they are sightseeing and he puts on a Mickey hat lol I mean I'm from Florida and I see that all the time but picturing it in this book had me laughing.
I thought the plot was unique and I was glad that the author included it as like a girls trip without the girls. Am I looking forward to reading what happened to Hayley's friends? Absolutely! I want to see if they all end up in this amazing place together or will they return to the lives they built in Atlanta.
Hot For The Scot by Janice Maynard is a fun vacation of a lifetime read. I loved the beginning where the three female friends are together pretty much getting on each other nerves. I remember thinking Ms. Maynard has done some traveling herself to peg how time changes and traveling fatigue magnifies every quirk that normally does bother a person. I knew right then that I was in for a fun read.
Hayley and Agnus meet in an unusual situation from there the attraction between them grows. There is a bit of drama, a minor villain family member, lots of gorgeous scenery and a love to last a lifetime. It’s a straight out perfect fantasy for those who fans of Outlander and enjoyed Harry Potter as children.
It may not be the deepest book but it is a thoroughly delightful read. The fanciful plot gives an uplifting anything-is-possible kind of feeling. I can hardly wait for Hayley’s friends to get their own love for a lifetime story too.
4.5 Stars Copy provided by the publisher through Net Galley for an honest review.
I was provided an ARC for HOT FOR THE SCOT by NetGalley and Kensington Books in exchange for an honest review.
I loved this book. Truly. It’s got it all:
Witty, well-written dialogue.
A fast pace.
A sympathetic main character with a great sense of humor.
A hunky Scotsman with a to-die-for accent and a gruff, teasing manner.
In the story, schoolteacher Hayley and her two friends vacation in Scotland. Their plan: travel together initially, then split up to go their separate ways and avoid social media for one month, after which, they’ll meet up and compare experiences. Fans of the OUTLANDER series, each secretly hopes to meet the Jamie/Scot of their dreams.
After she falls in the Loch, Haley is rescued by Angus, a sweet and sexy highlander and former pro soccer player. Romance ensues.
I can’t wait for book two to come out so I can share another Scotland adventure.
Thank you, Kensington, NetGalley, and Janice Maynard, for a fun read.
Cute romance with a bit of heat. I love the idea of a group of girlfriends traveling to Scotland for adventure and maybe a happily ever after. The story was very well written and it's entertaining. It would make a nice beach read or airplane companion as you head out on your own adventure (or to a conference you don't want to attend). I was a bit surprised at how rigidly Hayley stuck to the no-technology rule, but that's just me. It did say a lot about the conviction of our heroine.
I look forward to reading Willow's (the doubter) story.
I received an ARC of this book, via Net Galley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.
I really liked Angus, "I didn’t mean anything by that remark. It was true. I was sweaty, and my clothes were covered in muck. But Angus apparently took my statement as an invitation. “God in heaven, woman,”he growled. “Don’t say things like that when I can’t do any damn thing about it.” I really did love Angus, “you can ask me anything, little peach. I’m no’ likely to deny you at this point.” I really enjoyed this book I loved Angus.
Note: I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Hot For The Scot is a cute and romantic book that emphasizes the importance of friendship, while also encouraging an adventurous spirit and an open heart. Janice Maynard writes a beautifully descriptive story that weaves gorgeous scenery with delicious romance, humor and human kindness. A perfect little vacation read!
I'm sorry, but I couldn't connect to the heroine and if a book is written in first person, I absolutely have to comprehend the main character in order to enjoy the book. I might have liked it more written in third person, it's not bad ... For more romance reviews, check out my website:https://katherinasbooks.wordpress.com
I received this book as a Advanced Reader Copy. It has two of my favourite things in it, Scotland and Outlander, I loved how Janice weaved the story of Angus and Hayley together, the ups and downs of the events that happen to both of them.
Wow, I am so impressed by author Janice Maynard and the first book in what should be an purestdelightawardoutstanding trilogy. Hot For The Scot is the first of three books about childhood friends who travel to Scotland hoping to meet their very own highlander’s ala Outlander. When they arrive in Scotland they split up, each going their own way for a month to make their own adventure. I was completely swept away by this sweet, charming and passionate romance (and shhhh…but I’ve never read Outlander or seen even one of the shows).
Teacher and lover of history Hayley Smith is in her element as she tackles Scotland on her own. While the room she’s renting isn’t exactly what she had in mind, she finds her landlady sweet if a gruff sort of way but just a few days into her trip when she falls into Loch Ness she is saved by a brooding Scotsman named Angus Munro and her life is forever changed.
I loved the way these two met, the fact that Angus sent Hayley’s heart into overdrive and how little Angus seemed affected from the start. I appreciated that he pursued her again and that she decided to give him a chance and I respected the fact that she wasn’t willing to jump in the sack with him and that he respected her wishes. The more time they spend together, the more they learn about one another including Angus’ being a fairly famous retired soccer player and Hayley’s somewhat unconventional travel plans. There was realness about the time they spent together and each day brings something new for these two especially when tragedy strikes the town and they face quite a few obstacles, but through it all Angus and Hayley’s bond just grows stronger.
Hot For The Scot is a sweet yet sexy romance with a beautiful backdrop and a man with a Scottish accent, who the hell could want more than that? I can’t wait to see what Ms. Maynard has in store for Hayley’s friends, Willow and McKenzie!
This has been on my TBR list for so long on my shelf and on this cool rainy day I finally sat down and enjoyed it! This series is one for fans of Outlander and follows the journey of three friends on holiday in Scotland setting out to meet their own Jamie Fraser! This story followed Hayley and her dashing hero Angus and as a long term fan of Ms Maynard's work I was not disappointed. Angus was the perfect male lead and their swoonworthy story gave me all the feels.
This looks like it's going to be an interesting series. Three friends decide to live an adventure after watching and reading about romance in Scotland. The first book puts us in Scotland and the three have arrived and are going their separate ways. Hayley is a schoolteacher and she meets Angus Munroe a retired footballer and we watch a relationship develop between them.
I bought this on Kobo when it was a great deal just as another romance book. Really enjoyed it, though the steam level was lower than I was looking for. I loved the chemistry between these two characters (Angus is hot AF but also super sweet and I love him). Not my favourite but still super enjoyable and I sped through it. Will most likely pick up the other books in the series.
This book was a great start to the adventure that three girlfriends began trying to find there Outlander obsessions somewhere in Scotland. A modern day twist with wonderful characters make this a pleasure to read.
Hayley and her two friends are Americans who decide to travel to Scotland for a month long vacation. They all want to push their boundaries and learn to live without their electronics for a while. Hayley is a HUGE fan of the Outlanders series so that was one of her big reasons for choosing Scotland as her vacation destination. One of her first days their she falls into the water at Loch Ness and is rescued by a Highlander named Angus. Angus isn't used to people not recognizing him because he used to play soccer (football) for a living. They are both attracted to one another so they have to decide if they want to have a fling while she is on vacation or if it will turn into something more.
I really REALLY wanted to love this one, because who doesn't love a guy with a Scottish accent, but I just felt like there was something missing for me. Hayley repeatedly mentions the Outlander series throughout the book, and since I haven't read the series I felt like I was missing something. She is seriously obsessed with it. I think she mentions it at least once a chapter. I didn't feel the spark between the characters that I was hoping for. I felt the attraction on Angus' end but I didn't feel it with Hayley. I felt the ending was a little rushed as well.
** I was given an ARC of this title via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own. **
I'm not usually into stories told in the first person narrative. I'm more into the third person narrative because I like to see into the minds of both the hero and the heroine but this story got me hooked and I couldn't put it down until the very end. This story is told from our heroine's pov, Hayley, who is embarking on a solo journey to Scotland to kind of find herself and maybe some romance as well. It was a very cute story and the reason why I didn't mind so much the first person narrative is because Angus, our hero, speaks his mind and let's Hayley knows exactly what he's thinking and what he feels so it was all good. Now let me rewind a bit and say that Hayley and her 2 best friends traveled to Scotland together but decided to each have their own independent trip in different cities in Scotland so they each have a chance to immerse themselves in their own adventure without using one another as a crutch that would keep them from experiencing everything to the fullest. At first I thought the idea was odd but it all worked out because Hayley had a chance to find herself and thus love as well. So now I am looking forward to the second installment to this series.
This is a new author for me and I'm so glad I found her. I love this book. She expressed exactly how I felt when I visited Scotland a couple of years ago and felt such a strong connection there and wondered if the fantasies and time travel I've read so much about really existed and would love to experience the magical feeling and find your true love. But reality doesn't work out that way for us regular people, or does it? This was a wonderful story of these three childhood friends that drifted apart and found each other again in adulthood and took a trip to Scotland, then went different paths after arriving there to see if they could experience what the couple in Outlander did. I loved theses girls with their very different personalities, this book is about Haley and Angus and I can't wait for Willow and Mackenzie's story and see how their adventure turns out.
