Bruno Weber’s withering enthusiasm regarding his career nourishes his need for growth in life and in work. His boss, Levi, makes him an offer he can’t refuse—uproot his world and become an undercover IA double agent. Mayhem, risk, and adventure await after one last training exercise. Everything isn’t coming up roses, though. Ivy, the thorn in his side, isn’t going to make his mission easy.
When Bruno goes against protocol by allowing his trainee to leave IA property, peril blooms. Before long, however, a dire situation puts them both in the crosshairs of some pretty shady types. Can he weed out the danger or will his double agent status have them both pushing up daisies from six feet under?
Sarah Jayne Carr is a novelist who can be found most evenings with a cup of tea in-hand and her imagination racing from plot to plot. When away from her work, part of her mind is constantly brainstorming her next story and she always has writing paraphernalia within reach.
She wrote stories as a child, but became more serious about her passion during her twenties. In her spare time, she likes to read, splash in mud puddles, smell bookstores and eat Honeycrisp apples. Yearly, she participates in NaNoWriMo and has mentored others through the program. Due to her dedication to National Novel Writing Month, she is part of an amazing writing group.
Born and raised in Washington State, Sarah still resides in the area. Her life is richly filled with her supportive, yet swashbuckling husband and their golden Nugget.
Reading order of the JackRabbit7 series: The ones with an asterisk are the short stories I wrote. They're backstories on the supporting characters and how their lives intertwine with Amelia's and/or JackRabbit7.
The ninth short book in the JR7 series follows Bruno, a member of the IA, as he takes a stroll down memory lane to when he met the most important woman in his life, Orion.
It's a well written back story, refreshing, and gives you a chance to further develop what we already know about the characters of the JR7 universe. Orion is one of my favourite characters, so to see her through Bruno's eyes is a nice change as his perspective is consistent and he is a likeable character. It leaves us wanting more from the main series, especially if you haven't read them for a while. Highly recommend!
Such a great book!!! Exciting story filled with adrenaline from every moment until the end!!! It's a beautiful story of how two people come together and everything changes in their world! It's written flawlessly and with beautiful emotion!!!
