Starkeeper

Rate this book
This book is a group of short stories about aviation.

Many pilots will tell you that aviation is countless hours of boredom punctuated by moments of sheer terror. Rest easy, there is not much, if any, terror in this book. However, in each tale, a pilot is thrust into a stress-filled situation that is anything but normal, everyday life.

One of the first persons who proofread parts of this book said that it made her heart beat fast and kept her on the edge of her chair. That was a very high compliment, indeed. If you have ever been aloft in a propeller-driven airplane, this book will bring back the feelings, sights and sounds you experienced. There are times in every flight when an airplane gives you everything it has.

Starkeeper will make you more sensitive to the event of opening that next door or answering a telephone, because just around the corner may be a situation that calls for quick, decisive action ... and more than a little help from the Starkeeper.
