HOLIDAYS IN THE STARS! Three stories about three casts and three unique holiday adventures! You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll never look at CYBERTRON—or the holidays—the same way again!
I give this 5 stars for the Thundercracker and Buster story. That one is great! It's hilarious, and well written. The rest of the book is all cringey nonsense to me. Like the Star Wars holiday special, and not in a good way. Plus it includes a preview comic of nothing but incomprehensible cutesy weirdness. The less said about that, the better! But John Barber rocks.
Enjoyable enough 'lil dalliance of three TF series characters: Roberts (and Kotteri) gift us comical hijinks and madcap adventure as per signature, while Barber and Burcham deliver the welcome fun favourite, Thundercracker, in a somewhat insane Christmas conspiracy yarn. Scott and Howell deliver a rhyming verse tale of President Starscream. Parallels with Christmas Carol, but never stepping into plagiarism, this perhaps breaks new ground for a maximum squee and pushes the stars (ratings, if you like), to the top.
