Jones is author of the Eisner Award-winning Men of Tomorrow: Geeks, Gangsters, and the Birth of the Comic Book (2004); Killing Monsters: Why Children Need Fantasy, Superheroes and Make-Believe Violence (2002), and Honey I'm Home: Sitcoms Selling the American Dream (1993). Jones is co-author with Will Jacobs of The Beaver Papers (1983), The Comic Book Heroes (1985, 1996), and the comic book The Trouble with Girls (1987-1993). From 1983 to 1988, Jacobs and Jones were contributors to National Lampoon magazine. He and Jacobs began writing humorous fiction again in 2008 with the online series My Pal Splendid Man and Million Dollar Ideas

Guy takes quite a beating in his goal for the Qwardian ring.
Lobo doesn’t make things easy, and even when he agrees with Guy’s plan, still beats up the non-powered guy in the guise of ‘teaching’ him something.
Which they both use on the Qwardians Guy had trapped on a desolate planet when they refused to share how to open the portal to their home world.
‘Funny’ moment when Guy pondered on his ‘lack of violence’ after being teased by Lobo saying he has a soft side.
Which rears its head when Lobo continues to threaten the Qwardians to success.
The Qwardians open the portal before Lobo tries to kill one of them. Too bad Guy’s interference just sends him to the void between worlds.
Unfortunately, Lobo does kill the second Qwardian right before he’s returned home.
Guy and Lobo interrupt the Qwardians restoring their ‘Red Mans’ idol.
I didn’t realise they worshipped Sinestro.
After threatening one of the higher ups, Guy stupidly gave him the coordinates to Oa. The guy does teleport Lobo and Guy there… but he also delivers the entire Qwardian army!
I just kept thinking ‘how is this issue still not done?’
