I didn’t want to spend more time on this series than I had so I skimmed most of this issue.

The Green Lanterns on Oa joined Lobo in fighting the Qwardians while Guy lied to get himself into the Citadel to hunt for the power ring that must still be with Sinestro.

The benefit of having the same writer to another series is that they can interconnect certain plots i.e. the one where Sinestro has a piece of himself in John.

But in the end, surprisingly (or not so because it is his comic), Guy wins the ring!

Smugly, he beats back the Qwardians into a retreat and thinks he pulled one over on Lobo.

The Guardians asked themselves what has been unleashed on this today?

I can’t say this made me more interested in reading anything more than I have to about Guy. He didn’t learn anything!
I have it on my list but I may skip his own series unless I have to read an issue.

This is the story in which Guy gets his yellow ring . This is because of events in the main Green Lantern Comic Book . It is a well written story , but I cannot fully enjoy it , since it messed up Hal Jordan for over a decade !!
