Amelia J Hunter is an indie writer who likes to take her reader on a journey through her writing and her contemporary romance novels.
Leaving the bright lights of London behind in the early 90's, she now lives in the Irish countryside with her family, a good coffee maker and plenty of talk.
Recently graduated from University with a Masters of Arts in Creative Writing, Amelia is writing a children's novel under her own name.
I am fascinated by the short lived tale of Rebecca and Luke. Its surely understandable why Rebecca still got nervous, despite the years, with her little rendezvous with Luke. The mystery surrounding these two made that more evident. Yet, I couldn't have expected a more touching ending. It's a shame it ended as quickly as it started. I was left with many unanswered questions which is what I somewhat dislike about short reads. You're always left wanting more. Nevertheless, I recommend you add to your TBR.
This was a short sexy, HOT and sensual story. I loved how they met up once a year. The chemistry was definitely there. Luke also came across as being dominant in some ways.I absolutely loved the ending.
I'm seriously not sure what to rate this. The heroine meets a guy and for one day every year, for four years (I think), they get together. There is no conversation the other 634 days of the year. Maybe I could be ok with this if they messaged or communicated during the other days. I'll even accept notes by carrier pigeon. At the end of this book, I just couldn't understand how they would make it work. I don't even think they know where the other person is from. When I saw this was a short story, I was happy. However after reading it, there needs to be something more, even if it's just five pages.
