Ashley- the woman everyone loved to hate...UNTIL, they read her story.
David- the man everyone loves! And how could we not. He is sexy, hot, alpha and a perfect gentleman.
As much as I wanted to hate Ashley, I felt so bad for her. Ashley and David's love was the stuff of legends but real life and non stop work put a wedge between them. While David was trying to provide a life for them, Ashley felt abandoned. Lonely and feeling unwanted, she makes a decision that will cost her everything. Not to defend Ashley, because she was wrong in what she did. (I do not condone cheating in any form, but I could understand the feeling of being alone.) I felt like David not being there for her emotionally and physically caused her to lose her way.
Jamie did an amazing job with this book. I cannot wait for part 2.

Loved this series. I am in love with DAVID, he is the man. I hate the ending, they so needed the happy ever after. Even though I knew it was not coming, I so wanted it. You need tissues for this story!!! But loved seeing how the story started and how Ethans parents meet and feel in love. Just a beautiful love story with a horrible sad ending!! Great book though, highly recommended, just make sure you have tissues!!

Finally...we get to where it all began. This is the story of Ashley and David. There is no denying the love between these two people. It's easy to see how when you feel alone you reach out for the one who offers attention.
This book broke my heart. To have so much love for someone and then make a mistake that cost so much. How do you move on from that. I guess in a way you don't.
Please check out this book. You will not be disappointed.

I loved Ashley and David's story. They are high school sweethearts, so incredibly in love, and are just so cute!! Unfortunately, they are kicked in the ass so many times by life that the marriage ultimately suffers. And it suffers in the worst way possible, those of you who have read LJ's other books know what I mean. This is definitely a quick and enjoyable read! Highly recommended!

short but sweet and need. Ashley's story is heart breaking. you will need tissues. I teared up a lot during this. it was amazing to get to know her before the drugs and know why. this is needed to complete this series.
