Data, Data Everywhere: Bringing All the Data Together for Continuous School Improvement

Rate this book
Data Analysis for Continuous School Improvement, Third Edition , is a call to action. It is about inspiring schools and school districts to commit to continuous school improvement by providing a framework that will result in improving teaching for every teacher, and learning for every student, through the comprehensive use of data. It provides a new definition of improvement, away from a singular focus on compliance, toward a true commitment to excellence. This Third Edition is the culmination of over 25 years of doing the hard work in schools and districts, both nationally and internationally, to analyze, report, communicate, and use multiple measures of data for continuous school improvement. This book provides new and very specific tools, timelines, and strategies that will help schools and districts become true learning organizations.

Seldom do I read a book for work that I am excited about. But this text pulled out all of the great resources regarding Continuous Improvement Cycles and put them into one succinct format. Straightforward, to the point, and totally functional I'm going to leave this one in my office to return to periodically.

Useful information, but much more of a review of best practices using data to inform decision making and vision crafting in a school.

Really good, comprehensive overview of the Continuous School Improvement framework. Had to read for grad school and wished it had been assigned earlier as it really helped me understand a portfolio assignment on creating a Continuous School Improvement Plan. Short, sweet, and to the point with great graphics and reference material.

Good book to understand the process schools can use to interpret all of their data (including process data) to improve their schools. A quick and easy read, with a lot of depth and great appendices.
