Star Wars: Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan - Last Stand On Ord Mantell #1
Five years before the events of Episode I, Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, are already legendary for their exploits. When a valuable cargo freighter fails to reach its destination on the planet Coruscant, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan are sent into deep space to search for the missing ship. Their investigation leads them to the distant, lawless world of Ord Mantell, where everyone carries a grudge and a blaster, and Jedi are less than welcome. Despite their powers, the Jedi soon realize that it will take more than the Force and lightsabers to survive!

A fun comic following two of my favorite Jedi. The humor is nice.

"It was amazing." - 5 out of 5 star rating.
I have absolutely not a single negative thing whatsoever to say about this comic. 100% solid Star Wars comic across the board.
Strong prequel vibes, with Obi and Qui-Gon front and center, with an extremely intriguing bodyguard/personal security detail mission that evolves into so much more. Our Jedi heroes are faced with a murder scene in space, followed by a continued investigation, as the comic book name eludes to, Ord Mantell.
Outstanding opening issue for a comic series. I say again, I cannot say a single bad thing about this issue. Ryder Windham delivered here to say the least! On top of amazing artwork and dialog that feels entirely true to character? Super excited for this short five (5) issue series and how it all unfolds.
Looking forward to #2!

This was... ok. Decent enough story although it feels a bit surface level and resolves SUPERFAST.

A nice filler story of Obi-Wan's apprenticeship, but not on a level with other Star Wars stories

Simplistic, but I thought that Obi Wan and Qui Gon were quite well represented here.
