Great book

I really loved the designs. The instructions were clear as were the illustrations that went with them. I would high recommend this book to anyone who likes to draw and wants to learn how to draw the Mandala Zentangles. They've fun to draw and color.

This are NO reviews on Goodreads for this awesome book, so I'll be the first.

First, this book is incredible! If you're into drawing Zentangles and you want to take it a step further, this is your book!

It has different tangles on each page, step by step colored pictures of how to do those tangles, and on the same page, there are mandalas of different tangles within them. So many ideas and inspiration is in this book.

It talks about shading and using color in the mandalas, giving you ideas of how to do that as well. There's also reference to what kind of pencils, pens and paper to use.

The book is like an encyclopedia in that the tangles are alphabetized starting with the "A's" in the beginning of the book and then any tangles with "Z's" at the end of the book. Throughout the book it shows tons of ideas of how to use each tangle into a mandala, and if you want to do a specific mandala, you just need to flip to the page of the tangle where it shows you HOW to do that particular tangle.

This book also lists other CZT teachers with their tangles from all over the world, their ideas, inspiration, and website addresses so you can look at MORE of their work. You could learn so much from this book because of all the resources you can go to for more inspiration.

I really enjoyed and love this book and I plan on learning some cool Zentangle art with it; and the neat thing about it is that someone gave this book to a thrift store and I got it for $1.00! What a bargain for many hours of fun!

An excellent book for anyone who wants to explore this art form. It is beautifully illustrated with step outs for patterns. Shading is also explored and there are several ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) ideas to have fun with in creating tangles.

I love zentangling for relaxation and this brings it to another level and a different Art form...mandala. I almost want to call it mandangle. Very relaxing and therapeutic...can't wait to try the different mandalas mentioned in the book.
