This book was excellent. As someone relatively new to hiking and having never backpacked (yet) there were lots of excellent ideas that I would never have thought of. A very comprehensive volume and I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to take the guesswork out of what they are doing on the trail.

Aside from the misinformation that snakes are beautiful, it was a very informative book.

Prepped and Packed
This was an excellent book on hiking.
I took many notes and have already started using the skills and tips from this book on our hikes.
A lot of the gear we already have, but this was an excellent book to make sure you are using it to its greatest extent.
