good recipes

Recipes are easy to make and a wide variety of meals to make. Crock pots are simple machines to fill up with ingredients and just let it cook on low while you’re at work.

Buyer beware!
Random recipes, no organization or chapters. An alphabetical index would be helpful. Very difficult to find something worthwhile.

Badly edited with missing and misspelled words. The recipes are in random order and repetitive. Many of the recipes are unappetizing and use mostly highly processed ingredients.

Ummm, is it me....

I read over many of the recipes and there were many that made no sense (using a 'mug' for measure or 'boiling oiling water' for example) and plenty of editing issues as well as clarity problems. There were recipes that required two pages and the recipe repeated ingredients on the second page, the bulleted items were all over the place and or two separate items were placed together under one bullet point. Further, things like 'should chicken be precooked' were sometimes covered and other times, neglected entirely. It seems that if I am slow cooking for 3-4 hours on low, the chicken should be precooked. Who knows? My last complaint is the choices of ingredients. Many recipes called for things like turnips, spices I never use or buy or expensive cuts of meat (like lamb), thus making dinner an effort in futility and affordability along with my fear that it might make people sick because it's undercooked. I would strongly suggest the authors take another swipe with the red pen and make something worth our money.
I realize this is cheap or free in some instances, but useless free stuff is plentiful (see our choices for president) and I would gladly pay for cookbooks that work with my needs and the authors have taken the time to make it more usable.

A crapfest of recipes culled from newspapers, the back of cans and the internet. This is not a recipe book as much as a continuous vomitus of information with no particular order or comments. I doubt very much that the author has actually put much thought (besides adding to his checking account) or had actually tried these recipes.

Usually, if I can find one recipe in a book, I can still call this worthwhile. But after reading through the whole book (all 1825 recipes), I could not find one recipe that was new or that had any redeeming quality. I cannot fathom how anyone would give this more than one star. But then, there are people who consider Justin Beiber a viable performance artist.

Crock Pot: 1825 Crock Pot Recipes: 5 years of Crock Pot Slow Cooker recipes: Crock Pot Slow Cooker: Crock Pot dump meals: Crock pot cookbook: Slow cooker ... meals, crockpot, crockpot recipes free)
Lots of recipes, in no special order. Lot to choose from. There are no photos and there is no nutritional information.
List of ingredients and some recipes are very healthy. Good instructions on how to prepare the dish.
Not only meals but desserts as well. Some of the recipes don't have proper formatting and some recipe titles are hidden at the very end of other recipes.
No way to click on and go to the recipe.

It does have an index!

I just downloaded and haven't had a chance to browse the recipes yet. I just felt it was necessary to let everyone know it does have and index of recipes. Some of these 1 star reviews were left today and criticizing the lack of an index and other issues. I can't confirm the other issues yet but once I have a chance to really look at the recipes I will update my review.

There are some useful recipes here, although some of the terms are vague, or confusing, but most of the time you can figure out what the writer meant. Some recipes are very simple, or just variations on a theme, so it's not really a crock pot "meal" recipe a day, like it implies, but that's okay. After all who is going to actually use 1825 crock pot recipes?

I got this book for free, so even if I only use a few of the recipes it's still a win!

Recipes to last a lifetime, almost

Yes, there are certainly plenty of recipes here. Everyone that I've tried is tasty. You just about can't go wrong with a crockpot.
I do have some recommendations though.

1. Include photos. That just isn't necessary but I'd appreciate it.

2. Categorize recipes, i.e. beef entrees, dessert puddings, etc. in other words, it should be organized.

But these are great recipes and I can recommend this easy-recipe book.

Definitely a no proofreading copy and paste!!!!

I can't believe an author would put his name on this book. If you can find the recipes for Chocolate Lava Cake & Coconut Cake figure those recipe ingredients and instructions out. There is also a series of these books which is unbelievable.

Well this is a great collections of crock pot recipes, a whole 5 years of different recipes to try each and everyday of the year. Like any usual crock pot, just stuff the ingredients on your pot leave it there to cook and when you're back a mouthful cooked meal. Very convenient for me as a mother who is always on the go. Great recipe book.

A good resource but not well indexed

Tons of good ideas, various approaches but not terribly well indexed. Takes a moment to find what you need/want but that's not always a bad thing as it encourages browsing.

Overall all right.

A lot of recipes were duplicated. There were incomplete amount of ingredients and a few without full descriptions and details. I would have liked too seen a larger variety.

No table of contents.

Lots of recipes but no way to navigate easily without looking at entire book.
Buy something else easier to use.

Disappointed

This books states 1825 recipes, with no Table of Contents, or any actual listing of recipe titles. One must go page by page

This book sucks!

There's no table of contents to find a recipe or sort through recipes!
Don't buy this book with out warning.

Handy and complete!

If you can't find it in here, you probably don't need to cook it! This is an amazing compilation of recipes which are handy to have in one place. Well done!

Got this ebook for free and it's very interesting - rather than whole meals in the crockpot, it features lots of side dishes and desserts that would otherwise not get made. I like it!
