There are certain things a man just knows — the things he likes, the things he doesn't like, and the moment when he realizes he's met the right woman.
The events in this short story occur right after Loving Ashe , or within the epilogue. It's also the connecting story to Book 2 of the Loving Ashe Trilogy , Loving Riley .
While checking to make sure that the book showed up perfectly on my Kindle, Amazon asked me for my review so here it is. 5 stars. After all, it's my book, right?
If you are a fan of Ashe and Riley this is a must read. However if you have yet to read them, I suggest you read Loving Ashe first. While this story will not ruin that one, it will help you understand the characters better.
This short story is well written and gives us a taste of what Ashe is feeling. I don't want to give away anything by putting spoilers out there so I am being a bit vague in my comment but I will say that I enjoyed this story and I have enjoyed all the little short stories as well as the novel attached to them. Liz stays true to her characters in each of them and that is something that can be tricky as you gain a following for a series or with characters people have come to know.
3 Novellas that are ok. I found that there where some inconsistencies between them and book one. Not sure I should have read them. Didn't add anything to the original story.
I live for Riley and Ashe so I was super excited to see a new short story while I wait for book 2 to be released. This was the perfect little short! It moved the storyline forward while still giving you new insight into the life these two are building together.
The hint of the drama to come in book 2 was just enough to have readers salivating for more! (Who is the mysterious Cat? Seems like that blast from the past with be troublesome!)
I loved these 2 or 1-1/2 books and personally can't wait to get my hands in loving Reilly which just found out that unfortunately the second book won't be out until October 12th - in any event, I live Liz Durano's books and I know without a doubt that it'll be another awesome book.
It is always a treat to have a small dosage of Ashe & Riley. Looking forward for more snippets :D Thanks a lot for the insights, Liz! I am sure I speak for all your readers out there; we want more Ashe & Riley moments.
What He Knew is a short story from the Loving Ashe book by Liz. We get an insight into Riley and Ashe's world while they were visiting UK.
But the part I loved most is Gareth's story. It really filled in the blank from the same scene in Loving Ashe. It's let you into Gareth's world and finally you understand what goes on behind that bad boy image he's kept in Hollywood.
I'd love to read more short stories like these!
(I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book)
